So here we are at the end of the first week. This one is a few days behind the others so she's the runt of the bunch. For now anyway ๐Ÿ˜‰. We'll see how she does now after getting some Ferments in her soil! Not much to report on other than what we're feeding and that's the alfalfa Ferment and BAS Craft blend that's was pre mixed into their medium. We probably won't amend until bloom/late veg unless these girls look hungry but I'm sure they'll be fine. Thanks for stopping by.

The first part of this week has been great. It's cool but dry. There's was no dew on day 2. It's sunny with low humidity during the day. The plants are feeding on the built up nutes in the soil. I did not feed the listed formula although that is what I use prior to the flush week and thought I'd include it. We missed two projected rains and received one very light rain in the early a.m. hours of day 6 of this week. This was a great week for the girls. The rain didn't materialize like the forecast. We still had p.m. hours humidity in the 90s and cool nights, but these girls handled it. Only one has shown susceptibility to powdery mildew. Overall this is a beast outdoor strain for the Midwest USA. We have had a lot of leaf eating caterpillars attacking the plants because the trees are losing their green leaves. Just some natural defoliation no biggie.

One plant is entering flowering stage beautiful while my one sad stunted plant continues to struggle. Lots of lessons learnt with this grow, was my first time trying out HP Pro Mix and Iโ€™m definitely enjoying it but have some notes for the next round of seedlings I can improve upon. Excited to see how the buds turn out on both these ladies. ๐Ÿ’š Happy growing everybody!

Hey guys :-) First of all I have to say that all 5 strains I have in the tent from Amsterdam Genetic are beautiful genetics ๐Ÿ‘ . This week they were repotted into 8L fabric pots. When repotting, 2 g of Green House Powder Feeding Bio line were added per liter of substrate :-) . That's enough until the first flowers start ๐Ÿ‘. Watering was done twice this week with 0.8 l each. Otherwise everything was cleaned and checked and fresh osmosis water was mixed. You can buy this Nutrients at : https://shop.greenhousefeeding.com/us/ ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ You can buy this strain at : https://www.amsterdamgenetics.com/product/double-blue/ Water ๐Ÿ’ง ๐Ÿ’ง๐Ÿ’ง Osmosis water mixed with normal water (24 hours stale that the chlorine evaporates) to 0.2 EC. Week 12+13 Update โ€“ Final Harvest & Reflections ๐ŸŒฑโœ‚๏ธ First off, sorry for the late updateโ€”super busy at the moment! This will likely be my last report for now. Iโ€™ll still share the final results, but after that, Iโ€™m taking a break. BioBizz#1 โ€“ BT59 Harvested, and as expected, a disappointing yieldโ€”typical for BioBizz. Final weight: 71.88g AN#4 โ€“ BT65 As expected, the biggest plant in the grow! This grow confirmed that Iโ€™d stick with Advanced Nutrients in the future. Final weight: 163.88g AN#3 โ€“ BT64 This grow was an experiment in 60x60x120cm, and letโ€™s just sayโ€”not recommended! Zero height control, only 2cm clearance from the LED. Somehow, she survived. Now Iโ€™m super curious about the final yield! Final Thoughts Advanced Nutrients proved superior, and BioBizz didnโ€™t impress me. Stay tuned for the final numbers from AN#3! ๐Ÿ˜

Well, this week has been eventful. What started with a fly deciding to lay eggs in my buckets with larvae swimming around and chilling on my roots turned into a bit of a disaster. I used very weak H2O2 (diluted 3% solution). To try and clean infestation, the roots didnโ€™t like it, even though the actual concentration of H2O2 was probs less than 0.25%. Lesson learned ๐Ÿ™ƒ It has given some of them a touch of root rot (this is an assumption because I canโ€™t figure out what else it could have been). So growth has stunted a lot. Just before the bug problem, I increased EC to 1.1, this was probably another mistake, the smaller girls at the back with a smaller root mass got massive lock out, potassium, mag and calcium by the looks of it, coupled with a few not so well timed PH swings out of the 5.5-6.5 range gave me a lot to combat this week. But, life goes on, theyโ€™re still alive (just about)... As this is probably the hardest curve ball Iโ€™ve had thrown at me since I started growing canna, I have cut back the EC to 0.56 to allow them to heal. Probably wrongly decided to top them all as they were growing past 7th node, either itโ€™s gonna pay off, or Iโ€™ll be posting harvest details of 0g by this time next week ๐Ÿ‘ฝ I am on a stay at home holiday from work for the next 3 weeks, so looks like my babies are staying in the ICU and Iโ€™ll do my best to bring them back to life ๐Ÿ˜Š

AM3 was a bit of a leaf monster, but it was a smaller plant that finished after just 7 weeks of flower. AM2 brought the beef and is stacked top-to-bottom. Have some minty aroma at harvest, but we'll see how that progresses as it dries and cures. AM3 is already in the curing bucket and still has some mintiness. Being a smaller batch of buds, it was dry after 9+ days. Definitely a variety that benefits from a few weeks of curing. Still had a little grassy smell on AM3 as it entered cure. I expect these to be good smoke.

Well after having issues with my 3x3 set up, I decided to move the 2x2 over to the main room and see if it helps get the humidity down. And it did. Went from 65% down to 45% the first day now it goes back and forth between 45% and 50%. Way better then 58% and 66% if you ask me. I also opened the tent up so that it can get a bit of the extra light from my other lights. Especially as one of the buds is up past the light. Lol been a interesting grow so far thats for sure. Well that's all for now so happy growing everyone!!!

Day 63 Well thereโ€™s not much going on. Just watering when dry. They seem to be doing better. They are fattening up a bit more and putting on some density. I can tell by the fact that theyโ€™re leaning more. This is a 10 wk strain, but Iโ€™m gonna push it a bit longer til the trichomes are in a better range. They have a sweet tropical smell which is quite nice. Not the frostiest buds ever, but weโ€™ll see how it shakes out. The smallest front one is the frostiest of the round. Weโ€™re just on autopilot til the end. Probably a week or 2 more and theyโ€™ll be ready to come down. Happy Growing ๐ŸŒฑ
