Been a struggle keeping temperatures down and had a driver failure on my lights so was only running at 50% for a day. Running under a 600W Lush Pro COB LED with a heavy blurple spectrum. All in all the week progressed well; buds have started to fatten up nicely with frosting throughout. Cut nutrient strength in half but kept cycos recommended ratios. My EC meter malfunctioned so im kinda flying blind in that regard.

Man p4 is coming on strong after knocking of the longstanding p1 Queen of the crop. Crazy, I thought plant 3 was goin to be lucky to survive and she kicks booty! Another video up there 12 days in December cuts off about an hour ago. I have to say this week went pretty uneventful other than getting everything potted into their final 3ga pots. I'm trying to get the plants up to around 12" before flipping but getting anxious about it. If plant 3 wasn't so dang little I'd probably had flipped the ladies already... But they're still a bit short. I'm finding overcoming impatience is the biggest lesson I'm learning. such an beautyful strain! the colors are really outstanding and the scent is incredible! loads of resin production on this one, not the highest yield but insane quality!

Plants are all doing amazing ! They are all growing in a very even and uniform fashion. Seems like quality genetics so far. Plants are on track to be transplanted by next week or one more tops Fed with very light dose of supplemental nutrients at 6.5ph Plants are getting 25k lux.

It's about week 6 I guess, I don't know. Pheno 1: 2 short ones with great smelling medium sized buds. Fast Pheno 2: looks like a nice producer, very frosty, nice growth, keeping an eye on this one. Slowest of the bunch but not a slow plant by any means Pheno 3: woah, THC bomb! The frostiest plant in the house. Also seems like a fast one Great smells Quite excited for these awesome plants from Zambeza! Catch you before harvest time for some nicer pictures

2025-10-15 🌿 This is the first time I've grown Black Russian from Delicious Seeds, and I am positively surprised! 🤩 Great plant structure, very good bud size, easy to grow and harvest—and she's sooooooo beautiful. 💜 The season was kind of rough for the plants 🌧️❄️, but they had great conditions. T hey were sitting in a fluffy bed of enriched soil mix, full of beneficials like microorganisms, mycorrhizae, and microbacteria. 🍄 The soil bed is prepared in autumn the year before 🍂 and refreshed in springtime 🌱, so the ladies can dig in deep and grow like queens. 👑 This year I added 2 SCROGS—and that was very good. ✨ They were also covered by a roof 🏠, which was very necessary this season because it was very cold and rainy in spring and summer, with only a few weeks of lots of sun and heat. ☀️🔥 I think that's the reason all my outdoor ladies took 4 weeks longer to mature. I was very pleased to harvest the Black Russian. 🌸✂️ There was only one spot with starting mold because the flower was peeking out of the roof. Took waaaay to long to transplant. They didn't get any growth becuase of the bad weather these past weeks. Very bummed out about that. Two of the are already in prefower.. the tiniest i hope grows a bit more.. can't really ask for much more given the bad weather and that they're autos.. Umm, a strange week in growville. I dropped the additional light I added about 7 weeks ago. I'm pretty sure I was bleaching the plant and subsequent to removal of the extra light I now have about an extra inch of growth in each main stem! Definitely suggests I was overdoing it 'proper newbie style'. The new growth is a much deeper green compared the the blanched leaves below. Oh well, live and learn.
