High GD community, Week 7, Theres been a lot of rain last week, heavy winds. A lot of dust blew into the greenhouse. Theres also an attack of snails. Bcs the natural barrier of straw was blown away. Those sneeky bastards!!!🔪🔪🐌 First flowers appear on the zuchinis, theyve been growing a lot. Big fat leafs! The eggplants recovered 100% and showing new growth on top of the plant. Melons keep having a hard time, so i bought a other 1, same strain, only a F1 version. 🤞 Spanish peppers have their first flowers. 2 newbies are red pointed sweet paprika. And cucumber not triving yet. 1 died, so i bought 2 new ones, just to be sure. Of all the little pots my son made, nothing sprouted yet, except for some weeds. He was a bit dissapointed all week nothing appeared, reallife lessons in patience and failure. This week ive started siefing my compost pile. While i was turning over some parts of the compost, i noticed a lot of bummblebees swerving around. Than i found this hairy ball that was buzzing. If i knew they had their home installed, i would have been less brutal. Its a hard job turning over more tgan 1 qubic meter of plantmaterials and soil all mixed. So ive restored the place a bit, covered the space so the rain coulnt get onto the nest. As you can see, those bees are working their white ass off to get thinks back in place. Just a few hours after(14h) they are back in business. I also was astonished by how much wind those big fat bumblebees produce. Dust is swirling up when they hoover above the soil. Ive planted the iceberg lettuce togethere with an other 6 4 seasons lettuce, and covered the space for the intens rains and winds of last week. Thats it for this weeks adventure!! 🙏🌿🌿🌿🙏

Took some clones & defoliated/lollipopped I started building a veg tent and went with a 2x2 AC Infiniti equipped with the 4inch cloud line duct system was a boring grow week.. ready for flower

I mean, overall this was an extremely painless grow. The test of whether we should or shouldn't top autos is still TBD imo. Our topped candidate produced denser, frostier buds, but weighed slightly less, at 14 grams of bud total. And our lst plant produced 18 grams of bud, not as frosty, and almost as dense as our topped girl. I'll be topping autoflowers from here on out only under the circumstance I have 4+ to grow at the same time. Seems like it could be used to speed up the autoflower grow cycle if done properly, like with right. Since I'm doing a perpetual cycle, it's still a viable option for me in the long run. A few tips I have for anyone growing this strain in organics: Start feeding bloom nutes a little bit prior to flower transition - this makes the transition more seemless. From weeks 1-3 flower, I slowly dropped the grow dosage until I cut off grow nutes week 3 flower. Starting the flush around week 6 flower seemed to really bring out this plant's potential. But I think you could get away with starting the flush around week 5. I hope this helps anyone trying this strain out. It's a good one, I hope to see more journals of it, eventually. Cheers everyone! July 24, 2020 The phenotypes have been stretching as normal. Some of them already passed the 30 in mark. Some bottom leaves are turning yellow but we think it is normal for lower leaves to die. We not only gave the plants Gaia green bloom amendments but also, we fertilized the plants with some Alaska morbloom 0-10-10. (Once every three weeks) Water intake has been increasing. Now the plants are being water every other day. 10-14 liters for 10 plants. Happy grow🤤🌱🌱🌱🌱!!!!

Just updated with some final product shots -- the dry ice method was a new one for me -- It went pretty well except I f'd up and dumped a bunch of trim into the sift -- contaminated 1/2 of it -- I smoked the other 1/2 😁 I am happy with this run - it produced some stellar buds --- Gelato Rules!

Everything going well with this strain no problems and growth is very fast, they bounce back after any defoliation. Day 41 - Gave them a haircut today and a good Biosys tea feed till run of will leave now till start of next week Planning to add a drip irrigation feed system this week to make this a little easier. 🤞 Will update next Sunday now end of week 6 as will be busy adjusting and implementing the irrigation feed.

A week further and have started the flowering. I write this a couple of days later, with now more knowlegde about revegging and can conclude I started too flower too early. Especially the big plant, which was still not completely revegged. On the upside, I got to learn lots about revegging, also to know that it might take weeks for the plants to make the switch again and produce buds :(, should have waited few more weeks for revegging done. So wet on with defoliating, the left plant on the pictures I still have to do and trained budsites more sideways and some leaftucking, strategic defoliage on top. We shall see. The plants are not happy and im going to feed them some Biobizz Alg-A-Mic to help them destress and ease the suffering, thankfully @styliaga gave me some. I will do another update after coming feed and recovery. As a tip if you ever go re-veg a plant: let them finish the process. I can see the monster growth of lots of micro budsites developping in the canopy. Hopefully with enough time they will develop into a sea of chunky danky goodness. The lights I put a little higher, for saey, while Im adjusting the dimmer to full, to let them acclimatise to the full light. No light points yet after two days, not even the leafs curling up like in the beginning. Some things go well...

Another crazy week, hot days, cold nights, always windy. These are the conditions in which weed grows in nature and my girls seem to love. PK is confirmed as a beast. Perfectly healthy only a few scratches caused by the wind. No parasites. Very rapid response to bending with excellent branching. What a smell !!
