Day 2 - LST and training for the week.

Pretty good week overall! Day 80, I am posting a little early to coincide with my expected harvest in 2 weeks, and because today I officially started the flush! At this point I am anticipating the harvest between 5 and 14 days from now, depending on how quickly the buds finish ripening up. I am guessing the taller plant has about 75% red hairs and over 50% cloudy trichomes at this point. The shorter plant is slightly behind with maybe 40% of her hairs being red and maybe a third of the trichomes are cloudy. They have made a lot of progress over the past week, so🤞 they will continue that trend. Did a pretty decent defoliation on the shorter plant, due to some fan leaves that were blocking light from the lower canopy turning yellow. I have decided to try molasses with my flush water, hopefully that will improve my final product. One final note is the smell.... it is considerably stronger this time than either of my first 2 grows. Typically I do not bother with a carbon filter, but the smell was so strong it leaked in from my garage and permeated my entire house! So I added filter (and a very strong candle) and it seems to have helped the problem. Super excited for the harvest, will definitely keep everyone posted!

She is shorter than her sisters. But im extremely excited. She is just gorgeous. Nice and tight, 4" and 4 nodes. And looking great. Greenhouse is ready.

Week 15. 50 days of growth, 49 days flowering, stalled in between (growth phase), which was a good thing, it allowed time to go by and 2 plants were gone by the time she was coming into heavy flower and RH was in a much more desired range of 50-55 still high I know but the last 2 weeks I've been able to bring her right down. I know it's a little to late. But it has frosted up. I'm going to try 2 get more trichs for her final week. I've taken most her fan leafs and some sugar leafs, will hopefully send the plant into an overdrive of sorts and will force the plant to defend itself releasing more sugars and movemebt of fluids to stressed parts. Also I took half of lots of sugar leafs and the remaining fan leafs I cut halfs off. Dunno if this will help but I'm trying new things here, well new for my understanding, not new new (Targeted defol to get extra trichs/resin). Put her on a flush, just 3l she was still eating ppm was 150 from 1l of run-off I caught tap water is 78ppm. Topped her up with flawless finish today her 1st 1l 1 9f 2 for this week she'll get water then another flawless finish on day 6 and ill keep her on that and 1 more watering tben imto dsrk windoe 36-48hrs. Will hang dry, hopefully the whole plant. And will give her a l of water before harvest to prolong drying time for a 10-14 day dry at 55-60%rh 19-21c. Thanks for reading. This will possible be the last update if things get frontier as a result of what I did I'll post updates but what I'm gonna do is already planned. So update will only be on if quality has improved by eye. 16/4/22 Targeted defoliation and trimming the sugar leafs, (be sure just to take some leaf, not frosted). It'll send your plant into overdrive and it'll think she's been eaten alive and it'll force her to defend and prop herself up increasing in resin/long trichs. This is all theory btw. As there is no real way to tell if this works, you'd only know by growing this stain many many times and doing 50/50 And you might, might be able to tell if it's had an impact. But it wont hurt, that's if u don't take too much. So, I checked over and over and over her. Ponderd and then paused, smoked a few blunts, many bongs later and an hour goof. After taking a look after her 12hr rest her stigma is so little and she's flushed. Stopped eating more or less. Maybe she could do with another week. But sadly, 102 days is all I can Will be in the 55-57 day window of flowering after rest. So Barneys are solid in flowering time, id say she'd of only been an 12-13 wker like the zkittlez organic, as when there is little trouble or stalls barneys grow windows are usually spot on. They both gotta come out tbh . Zkittlez I'm going to push to the last day I possibly can. I plan to heavily feed this girl with water tonight (TDA), tomorrow and then 1hr again before harvest. This hopefully will prolong the drying time. When chopped all her sugar, fan leafs will be left on. After she dries for 4-5 days I'll trim off all sugar/fan leafs without frost and then after she's fully dry I'll trim to get to the end product and of course I'll be smoking all frosty trim, if there's enough I'll try my hand at bubble hash. We shall see, either way it'll be smoked as it's frosty as crap. This plant has been a true gem to work with Barneys has truly out did themselves. This was my tester, it was a freebie test seed that was dropped and I was just going to plant q zkittlez but ended up putting my hand in my pocket and guess what, there was a TDA seed it. I was sitting down and dropped it, thought fell through the sofa after it popped out of the seal and thankfully she got planted, as she would of been just another zkittlez, I love it and all, but I'm a little tired of smoking the same stuff tbh. It's lovely and all, but a bit of variety and all that good stuff! Happily I'm going to get some nice and frosty TANGERINE DREAM AUTO. Who knows what she'll give. Starting the week off very healthy. Only change is the adjustment of light height and the removal of Mass Pro. I’m seeing very rapid growth both vertically and horizontally. Plants are showing signs of pre-FLOWER, light intensity was moved up to 80% with a max 700 PPFD. So far so good. All plants are happy and healthy…

Inicio da 4° semana vamos no dia 20 com muita força, adicionei agora ao plano de alimentação rinho skin e sensizym para limpar as raizes para pernanecerem brancas e engrossar os ramos strain vigorosa 100% indica estou a gostar Como da pra ver no video houve um pequeno acidente a fazer lst, uni onde rasgou e pus papel vegetal a volta a segurar bem, vamos ver se ela cura.. continua com boa cor e nao se foi abaixo nem uma vez! Esperar uns dias, se nao curar vou cortar e fica um top acidental kkk Ja curou o pequeno corte que tinha no ramo principal, decidi exprimentar fazer um supercrop, é a primeira vez espero que tudo de certo.. Em geral esta ser uma boa semana nada a apontar nestas meninas, a ir muito bem! 😏😁

December 4th:starting in the winter, veg and bloom will happen under 400watt hps to keep the grow room warm. the seeds have been germinating for 2 days with the wet paper towel technique, they got root and are now in soil and the rockwool cube. for now im just waiting for the seeds to show root coming out of the rockwool, then i transplant to the netpot with clay pellets straight in the dwc, untill then they get fluorescent light (max 7 days) these are autoflowers so they get 18 or 20 hours light. nutrients General hydroponics three part :micro gro bloom and calmag water: rainwater (25ppm) i hope the room wont cool of too much when the lights go out. Day 1 (December 5) seeds start to come above the rockwool and the soil Day 2 (december 6) stems start to stretch i give them both pure rain water with 100ppm calmag when they feel dry. Day 4 (december 8) still no root visible out of the rockwool Day 5 (december 9) root visible outside of rockwool cube and transplant to the 55Liter rdwc air pumps 10l/minute Day 7 (december 11) root comes trough netpot, i lowered the water by removing 3Liters

With the water I was going from 50/100ml slow to the 400/500,so I'm changing time to time my water until they are big enough and then I only feed 1/1,5L water,That's how it goes every time I'm growing the water cycle

The beautiful plant brings a smile to my face I built up the nutrients to 1250 ppm ... (including 200 ppm tap water). The plant is living under a CMH lamp now. Let's see how "XXL" it will get

So they’re still stretching, I thought they were slowing down a couple days ago, but then I walked in today and realised shit, they’re still going, must have grown another 3 inches since yesterday. They have almost filled out the whole 6x4ft space, a little space by the door and in the corners, the floor is looking well shaded which I am happy about, as that means I am not wasting too many photons. I have an maybe another 10/15cm of spare vertical capacity before I’m going to have to start some emergency super-cropping. Starting to get a little anxious I still haven’t changed out the reservoir from 16 days ago, although my top ups have been the same composition as noted above. I think I will drain her out tomorrow which has a drastically lower ratio of nitrogen. I have to say, this Botanicare range is incredibly stable and forgiving once you get past mid veg. As for the genetics, she knows how to grow without little fuss. Maybe I have been very lucky, time will tell once I finish my next grow with a different strain. The plant at the back of the room is a little squat compared to the other two but maybe she will catch up. Waffled on a bit here, thanks for stopping by, have fun all!

Last couple of days... No watering from today, (Day 129) and the light will be switched off as well from tomorrow (Day 130) so I will harvest them approx on Day 132 or 133 on the 18th week :)
