Week 7, early flip and attempt at reveg into early week 8 but decided I liked the look of her cola potential and decided to throw her into flowering. From the reveg attempt I thought a ratio on/off would be best if it leaned more on the off, so a 13-11 off / on was set for early week 8 and till fattening (when the stretch is over, 'pre flower)
This is a bit of a weird one for me, well more a 1st. I'm not 100% sure. But I do remember this getting 3 13.5hr days as did my whole tent. As my cheap timer ran for an extra hrs off when it was meant to be on. So, put it into a flip. And I tried for over a week to reveg, I'm sure if I pushed on. I would of gotten to reveg. (I'm not sure how long it takes, am very pleased though with this spectrum even without the IR that the flip time is quick. So, after a week 7 was finished. I decided to push on to a 13-11 off/on to induce her. I'll increase it to 13-11 on/off in fattening. Sadly has the pre flip and then attempt at reveg make all her nodes very stiff. And near to LST. After pre flower I'll hard defol and attemp to distance the colas. Surprisingly with her been a dom indica her leafs are very Stavia style. Very thin. Would make an ideal candidate for scrog. She is very healthy and been the most responsive with co2/heat. Although growth was stalled from my reveg attempt, I'm sure i cut a good few CM from her Height by reversing it again. I should of looked up how long it takes to reveg 1st. Lessons learnt. I still have an amazing pheno. (I'm a few weeks ahead in Real Time)
Defoliation
So, this was done lots on this girl. As my plans for her were changed due to poor attention. So, start of wk 7, what I thought was still a few weeks out from me flipping. But, after my abandoned attempt of reveggin. She was in limbo and I decided to risk it with a hard defoliation. (Looks like it was done in pre flower, it wasn't, It was just coming back into veg, but would of taken weeks to get it growing fully again, and at looking I'm happy with it so I pushed again with my Defol to get colas. You can find this on grow weed easy "full tutorial for flowering") am gonna leave her now until she's out of pre flower, she's 35cm or so tall. I don't see putting on much height. As my reveg attempt will for sure hanmer her stretch.
Diet
Was planning on taking Alga Grow off for the last 10 days r so off grow. So, I only had a few days off it, and its on Alga Bloom now.

Pretty much half of the flowering cycle has been completed! 28 days today. She's very vigorous, thickening up and frosting A LOT. I've also done some more gentle LST to spread a few branches further because new shoots are coming everywhere. Beautiful to look at.
It's been quite moist at night, the sun sometines only starts at 10 am because of fog. When I decide to grow we have the rainiest year in the past 13 years and also the coldest May since 2006, fuck...at least the RH drops to 30% when the sun's at max, it's also been quite cold, that'll probably avoid mold problems.
She started to smell very gently this week. Started as a ripe guava sort of smell that has now developed to VERY sweety and fruity profile. Strong skittles smell when I press the flowers, which is awesome! I'm a big sugar fan, I did not expect this smell but I just loved it!

Day 29,
Too many bugs! Mini grasshoppers and one of those leaf tunneling bugs, as well as a respiratory bug within myself! I’ve taken care of the bug inside myself, now time for the Diatomaceous Earth!!!! And to get that bug out of that leaf!
Still feeding a little cal mag. I think it’s necessary.
Day 31 - Day 1F
Going to ramp it up from 1mg to 3mg per Gal of CalMag OAC. I will top dress something special, maybe the mother earth acid mix, or maybe I will do a seabird guano with insect frass and top it off with an Epsom Salt solution feed. I’m trying to practice using less of a branded store-bought approach. But to source everything is so much easier out of a store bought package, so for now, I might just do a small amount of seabird and insect frass, maybe just a super small sprinkle on the soil surface, not in water.
Day 5 of flower: and WTF is up with this foul weather. Only 46 degrees Fahrenheit! (7.8 C) Cloudy with 15-20 mph winds. Gonna drop to 29 tonight… this is ridiculous. I don’t have access to the tent at this time, so it’s cold weather today. I could bring her inside where it’s warmer, and there is no light! Or those house lights put out only a few candelas worth, not exactly light for a plant. Do she would just stretch and go hungry inside. I’m leaving her outside. Bringing her in over night obviously! But not much growth is expected. Just gotta roll with the punches.
I thought we were flowering this week, but barely small preflower development. So this is switched back to a Veg week.

Day 64 - the hulk is here!
a. this plant has really surprised me and exploded everywhere
b. Pumped out the DWC and installed 15 litres of my explosion flower blend. Adding liquid KoolBloom and keeping the Diamond Nectar flowing for this lady
c. Ive noticed that continuing Diamond Nectar throughout flowering in strains that contain OG Kush make the buds much more dense.
Day 65 - flowering really well
a. I think she loves the new flowering blend! she drank 3 litres overnight!
b. Im going to push this plant very hard to the finish
c. keeping the PH 6.5 throughout all of flowering
Day 66 - The sative genes are shining through!
a. I wanted a super sativa plant for this grow, I want a mind numbing head high, this will do it
b. it looks and smells alot like White Widow, probably due to the Myrcene terpenes.
c. she is drinking 3-4L a day right now, Im dumping in the above chart mixed 1:1 right now.
d. tied the larger side branches back a little to open her up, she is thick
Day 67 - a little more guidance for the branches
a. added in 2 ties for the large side branches to give space, there are many tops here
b. she is drinking so much, it is crazy!
c. the resin is already being produced, and is very sticky and strong
Day 68 - explosions everywhere
a. the buds are expanding vigorously, the stigmas are huge and very strong
b. she is still stretching upward its amazing to see
c. the plant is consuming 3-4L a day right now
Day 69 - continue to grow
a. drinking alot, 4L overnight, stretching like a giant
b. lowered the light just a ilttle to get some more penetration into the plant
Day 70 - growing like a weed!

Tag 68: Noch eine Woche bis zur Ernte. Zum Glück. Die Blätter sehen auch echt nicht mehr gut aus. Vermutlich war ich beim ph wert einstellen noch zur vorsichtig, und er war noch etwas zu hoch?!? Ich traue mich immer nicht soviel von Säure zum senken rein zu machen 😬

Added white foil in the back of the greenhouse to allow for some more light in the back. She reacted to this fairly quickly by rotating her leaves more upward rather than to one side. I also raised the camera more and adjusted the position of the pot for it to be more centered.

Just watering plain water, im thinking this is the last week before harvest, im checking out the trichomes every other day to look when theyre ready. Everyday theres about 5-10 leaves which are so curled up and dried that i can just rip them loose super easily.

Gorilla Glue #1 - Harvest Comment - I Am Very Satisfied With What I Got, I got 3 ounce 7 grams - I Uses Advance Nutrients PH perfect In veg then I switch to the iguana juice organic juice for the flowering stage. I notice a much more slower growth when I switch to organic nutrients.00

These were taken on day 59 I was a little late to put gettin them up. I've been doing some heavy flushes on some of them cuz the run off ppm was a little high. I mixed these with soil so I dont know if that's why it's not coming down as quick as usual but I'll keep poundin these ladies til the cows come home

I believe this will be the last week this girl will stretch. Shes got arm buds at the ready and will be full on flower from here on out. In going to keep her nitrogen at a high for these next two weeks and dip out after mid week 6 and keep it just bloom shiz. She is gorgeous with 7 main colas. Would be easily 12 but one main got snapped due to her topping her own self(stakes). Yes these girls can do that. They will drive thsy stake out the ground and the California gold in my other diary did the same as well. The effort/force topped them so I lost some branches and instead took a loss. I love her and it's so crazy how she started out small. 1 gallon is blooming out. Stripped all lower sites to a degrees none of that garbage yah here. 3 gallon just got some orange hairs. We are now beginning to fall out of the stretch.

Been too busy to update the last few weeks, but they’re surviving longer then I expected. When I received my new light I did not take in consideration of the heat output and within the first night of use the tent reached a scorching 88 degrees

Day 71 - Starting week 11 and overall looking good still but have a ton of bracts/calyx that are not throwing out pistils. They seem to slowly be coming out on some but looking like I’ve got a ton of them without pistils and no buds actually forming, not sure if I’m explaining it right, all still fairly new to me. The only thing I can think to do is just let it ride for awhile longer and see what happens.
Day 73 - Looks like a few more bracts/calyx’s are starting to open and show more pistils. Some have thrown out a single pistil and started to shrivel already. She’s got a lot of milky trichs but still think she’s got a good couple of weeks left, hopefully she’ll fatten up quite a bit. Ended up giving her a gallon and a half of plain pH’d water today as well. Not sure why I didn’t research or why I didn’t think of it but she’s definitely foxtailing so hopefully cutting off one light will help slow it down a bit or something. She’s nice and frosty and stinky so not too worried about any ill effects from it but still not happy. I’m sure a combination of lights, a little heat and a screw up somewhere on my part stressed her out too much. Oh well, every grow is different and is a learning experience.
Day 74 - Still chugging along and even though she’s foxtailing, she’s starting to open up more and throw pistils. Other than that, not much else happening with her.
Day 76 - She’s still chugging along and not much to really update today. I know she’s foxtailing quite a bit but just letting her go to try and get as fat as she can. Still a lot of clear trichs and bright white pistils so a bit of time still left. She’ll need some water tomorrow for sure.
Day 77 - The end of week 11 and I’m probably gonna give her another week then possibly chop. She is just about all milky and just don’t see her fattening up much more. I did give her one more round of nutes today but that’ll be it until the end and just straight water from her on out. If I see some fattening up, then may let her go longer. I may possibly do a partial chop and then see what happens with the lower stuff.
