There are good genetics and there are genetic masterpieces. The Great Jefa is part of the second case. Truly exceptional. It is a plant that has vegetated in a graceful and regular manner, the 16 bud topping seems tailor-made for it, all 16 have been successful, I would say excellent. All this happened in a short time, I don't know if it's the topping but it was practically ready in 6-7 weeks I took it to 8 because it was still very colored with leaves but it was ready for all the rest of the signs. Milky trichomes and lots of amber ones this time I don't think anyone can accuse me of being early. Also because the advance sometimes saves lives from mold. In this regard, I would like to give the advice NOT TO DO TOO MUCH FLUSH, if the plant is already very mature, washing the roots would risk spoiling the tops. So my advice is to flush at the very first red hairs, when the flower starts to take the color away with the flush, you clean it up and finish composing the flower. The flowers are really full of resin, a wonderful foliage gave us shades of colors from dark purple to light green and the tips of all the buds and violet. The trichomes and hashish pulled off the gloves are scary. so much. lots and lots of resin. The family is sweet-sour, I know Money Maker very much like us and is embellished with Attitude's Californian genetic Runtz. Greenhouse feeding gave us satisfaction from start to finish with a clever use of Enancher. The plant is still colored because I added some bloom. A few words must be said for Greenhouse Seeds who, with this declaration work in partnership with the strains, is doing a pretty good job of clarity. Many strains are children of an unknown mother and this exposes them to a thousand defects. Strain motherfuckers aren't tough they're problematic. Congratulations to Greenhouse always masterpieces. Fattys are growing and seem to be thirstier.Used foliar spray to help the leaves and also started tucking. When the plant was topped pistils were seen for first time.

Day 128. It took me almost 48 hours with two short naps to sort all 8 girls. Result not bad, think easy will brake 1g/W, I have 720 setup, but one light is limping, so it's closer to 600. Think harvest will be in 900 area. It's 90 W per plant only and I think one girl will go above 150 easy ! I doubt I will post Tangies weight in statistics, don't want to screw that strain, she could be way way WAY bigger !!! Happy Growing !!!

The plant grown on the outside terrace had to be moved to a larger pot and placed inside my kitchen because it was yellowish and the leaves burned. The weather was not stable and there were strong gusts of wind that ruined the factory. It is now improved.

They're certainly more comfortable in a foursome. I trimmed the bottoms. The girls began to develop faster. I also added one more drip irrigation pipe to each bush.

Still in 1ltr pots due to space restrictions. I have pulled a few fan leaves to allow light penetration and air flow increases. From next week I will start adding green sensation 👌

A step back recently: Started a final flush (2 days in), and decided to start feeding her again - thanks to some great GD input! 250 ppm at re-start and will work my way to 500ppm? She's still rockin' along - like nothing happened. She topped out at 350 ppm without tanking PH, so she is stable here. PH is now swinging down fairly quickly last 12 hours. Drained off 1/3 of reservoir and get reservoir down to 250PPM. 5 days later, major PH swings down again. Mixed another fresh reservoir. I am using Zero Water 5 gallon system, and just realized the PPM coming out was 100, and PH at 3! If I am at 100 today, that means these filters have been shot for a while, maybe since start of my PH issue. There is also interesting information about when zero water filters reach their expectancy. They put out fishy smell and otherwise. I will be watching my filters more often and taking more notes since this ZeroWater 5 gal system is really the way to go if you are only growing a plant or two. Filters are a bit spendy but when you take time, gas, convenience etc. its a no brainer (if the water coming out is zero:) - I get about 15 gallons per filter (175ppm from tap). Day 70. It’s been about a day since new res change. Steady Eddie at 250 ppm and 6.2. I’ll let her drink the bucket down a good ways if things remain stable with a drift down. I doubt it though, 5 gallon is fine for 12” autos but at 2’ she really needed 8 gal. Time to up the R&D on the cabinet! Also checked Zero Water again and filter is now putting out 200ppm of 3.0 water. New filters installed! Hope she finishes soon, the top of her canopy slowly getting cooked over the last 10 days. 8" of light distance is too little. PPFD 2000+ at the top, but leaf temps are in the upper 70's. Gotta hit a decent DLI on these lower buds - without nuking the top nugs, right?! As the week concludes, she’s in a fresh bath, at 250ppm @ 6.0 and running stable again. New water filters installed so zero water variable removed. Last serving of half+ teaspoon of GH dry KB ripening, and will reduce ppm by 25/day until I reach 10-15%. 1-2 day flush, if at all.

Week 9 flowering

It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. Hi guys, so I chopped the little gelatocake 3 days ago and its hanging in 55% humidity and 15°f, I have taken a sample bud, you no how it is lol. Sherbert mimosa are struggling along and going purple 💜 bit cold here lately, starting to fatten up a bit now, the baby photos are growing fast but need repoting. Happy growing guys 💜💚💪

Now we are going to week four, the plants have started to really vegetate, I have seen rapid growth in cannabis and other plants before, however, this strain is growing very large at a tremendous pace. I am having no issues so far, I am doing very light training and I started using pH down, as the plants ingest the nutrients the pH is rapidly rising. I hope to preserve perfect pH within the next week and continue on. I have been adding a gallon of water every three days to keep the reservoir at the right level. The plants are receiving a constant PPM of 400. Not only am I seeing five-finger leaves but I am also seeing seven-finger leaves. The plants are looking very healthy and there are no issues at all so far. I have Started to train the plants and started mainlining, I have also slightly defoliated the plant. This Plant is overgrowing the free seed from seedsmen. ( in hindsight I have never gotten any good free seeds from seedsmen) Science: There are a few ideas in this grow journal that I am toying with. The first idea is putting low-voltage conduction through the roots of the plants, I strongly believe that stimulating the the roots with electricity will induce larger and stronger vegetation. The other idea is blasting the plants with low decibel sound waves. We will see. There is another idea I have with string LED lights. However, I'm going to keep some of my secret sauce to myself.

We are starting to get the nitrogen issue handled. She was almost white! lol now all new growth is a healthy green, just in time to stop, and start giving her Phos. She just ate every drop of nutrients out of her soil during stretch. I think the white spots on some of the leaves are light bleaching so we went ahead and raised the lights another 12" to 36" total now. We also noticed it looks like her roots receded back into the soil some? Does that make sense?
