I beleive the temp of the solution is to warm for the pH perfect to work. I've also read this so will keep an eye on that over the next couple of days. Managed to snap a big bud so it's currently got tape round it 🙄 These are very heavy dense buds but certainly half an effort and could potentially do alot better. There is not much to tell this week :) A few came to the flowering tent, 2 are still in the vegi phase for 2 days and then come last to the flowering tent :-) The Blue Cheese and the Kosher Tangie Kush smell very good and how they should 😍👍 It will be difficult to choose 2 mums :-). Welcome to the Week 9 update for the Sweet Seeds Cream Mandarine XL Auto’s. This was an eventful week of the grow as I finally gave up on the first two plants suffering with the majority of the powdery mildew. Instead of wiping a single spot off of a leaf it had progressed to wiping multiple spots off of the majority of leaves. It was becoming super time consuming just trying to keep up with not further contaminating the tent. So after fighting the good fight but realizing it was now a losing battle- I decided to harvest the two smallest plants. They were pulled from the tent right at the end of Week 9 and placed in my garage for 3-5 days before they were actually chopped and trimmed in Week 10. My garage is not heated and the temperatures have been around 0-5 degrees celsius so both plants had some time to “chill out" before harvest. Not only did they reek stronger than ever but also seemed to produce additional resin after being exposed to the cold for a few days. I chose not to weigh the wet trimmed bud as it hasn’t amounted to much but after drying for 7-10 days it’s working out to be approximately 1 mason jar of nuggets per plant. I will provide final weights and better pictures of the bud in my final harvest update. Nothing much has changed for the remaining two plants except for drinking a little less water and the humidity has slowly been decreasing as Canada moves into winter. I'm doing an organic soil grow using Purple Cow Organics for the substrate. For germination and seedling phase, I'm using their Seed Starter mix. Once they are ready to focus on vegetative growth, I will transplant them into 5 gallon fabric AutoPots using Purple Cow's Indicanja soil. This is a "water only" soil that I will be attempting to use without feeding much additional nutrients, except for Bloom City Cal-Mag, since I will be using RO water. My tent has CO2 enrichment, so I will be using ~25% higher DLI levels starting at week 2 or 3 than are typical for photoperiod grows. I will adjust as necessary based on how the plants react. #2 and #3 emerged from soil after 2 days (August 22). #1 and 4 took two extra days to be fully emerged with open cotyledons (August 24). During germination, I had VPD set to 0.5 kPa. PPFD was 200 and DLI was around 13, with an 18 hour light cycle. CO2 levels are between 1000-1400 ppm. I included a video showing and explaining my AutoPot and AirDome setup and my general plans for this first grow.

Growing like crazy. Not shure what to do regarding Training. Actually i dont have space for specific Training-Techniques. Ordered some plastic clips to bend down some branches. Branches look good, reaching the top just fine. I will removed the lowest branches an try to clone. Sincen the tent is not very high, i think i will start flowering next week Removed quite a bit of fan leaves. Super hot, 30+C outside Little bit below 30C in the box I also installed a smart-meter to measure power-consumption. Regarding prices for electric-power, this is quite a thing to have an eye in.

You may see another plant in the tent, that is also Fastbuds but their new for 2022 Cherry Cola Auto strain. I'm going to try my very best with these plants, currently at seelding stage receiving around 270 ppfd each and dli is around 20 for 24hours of light. When the plants are bigger will increase the amount of light.

THURSDAY 12/20: Beatrice is still packing on the pistils, but it's a race between her buds finishing and all her leaves all falling off. I watered her today with just bembe, calimagic, bud candy, and terpinator. I'll give her Cha Ching in a couple days..and maybe again once before I start flushing her. FRIDAY: The new evaporative cooler is working pretty well in the tent. High temp was 84f with it running on medium and with ice in the reservoir. That's a win. I suspect that when I need to run the other two 85w bar lights it will be pushing 90f again unless I run it on high. RH is is staying between 38% and 45%, which is another win! SATURDAY: I fed her about a gallon of full-strength bloom nutes and extra bembe/terpinator and cha ching. SUNDAY: Photo session! She's getting closer now...I may start flushing her on next water day.😋

July 11, 2024. 6’-9” & 6’-3”, average 6’-6”!!! They keep growing and growing and growing…👍 Had to increase watering to twice per day because they are thirsty girls!!! Still supplementing Recharge and cal mag once per week. Otherwise it’s water only!!!👍👍

18.10.2024 very humid and little sun on the west side 21.10.2024 day 187 Beautiful sunny day, then powdery mildew discovered and started the 3rd harvest.

Updates During Week 5 Plants switched from pre-flower to flower stage. Loads of stretching starting. Added dry amendments to the soil. Down to earth 4-4-4 at 3 tbsp for each 5 gal pot. I decided to go half dose to see how sensitive the autoflowers would be. So far they are loving it! Added another dose of worm castings. 1 tbsp of worm castings per pot on the 7th. Watering with tap water that is left out overnight/24 hrs with PH down added to bring PH to between 6.5-6.8. Watering every 3 days Plan for Week 6 Ordered Bloom dry amendments Waiting 1 more week into flowering to defoliate bottom leaves. Continuously bending LST fan leaves and bud sites . Going to make Worm casting tea Over all I am happy with how this grow is going. Noticed this strain is very sensitive to watering.

The stretch is strong with these girls. Looking very nice and have been doing my typical trim routine. Will switch to bloom nutes at flip.
