Es ist soweit! Am Freitag habe ich die fünf Easy Buds nach knapp 11 1/2 Wochen abgeschnitten und geerntet. Leider musste ich feststellen, dass eine Pflanze ziemlich stark befallen war. Ich vermute eine Milbenart oder möglicherweise Fliegeneier. Unterhalb der Blätter waren etliche dunkelgelbe und dunkelbraune Eier, die man auf den ersten Blick kaum erkennen konnte. Bei genauerem Hinsehen sieht man jedoch, dass sich der Befall auf die ganze Pflanze ausgeweitet hatte. Glücklicherweise blieben die vier anderen Pflanzen verschont. Aus diesem Grund trockne ich die Pflanzen auch getrennt voneinander. Die befallene Pflanze wollte ich nicht direkt wegwerfen, sondern erstmal trocknen lassen. Im Nachhinein werde ich schauen, wie ich mögliche Schadensbegrenzung betreiben kann. Die vier gesunden Pflanzen werden in einem geschlossenen Zelt in einem Trocknungsbeutel getrocknet. Die befallene Pflanze habe ich in dem Folienzelt aufgehängt und mit einer Plane abgedeckt. Nach wenigen Tagen der Trocknung sieht soweit eigentlich alles gut aus. Die Eier scheinen nicht mehr zu schlüpfen, sondern fallen von der Blüte ab oder verschrumpeln zu Kompost. Ich hoffe, dass es dabei bleibt. Der Geruch hat sich nach dem Abschneiden deutlich verändert. Schon nach der kurzen Trocknungszeit kann ich einen intensiveren Geruch feststellen, der sich noch nicht so richtig beschreiben lässt. Die Blüten waren stark mit den sogenannten "Sugar Leaves" verwachsen, weshalb ich sie grob getrimmt habe, um sie zum Trocknen aufzuhängen. Nachdem die Blüten vollständig getrocknet sind, werde ich die Buds noch einmal einzeln trimmen und durch meine Trimm-Maschine von Vevor jagen. Der Ernteprozess hat zu zweit circa eine Stunde gedauert. Die Pflanzen waren zum Zeitpunkt der Ernte noch sehr gesund und kräftig. Die Verwurzelung war trotz des geschlossenen Topfes sehr gut. Die schönste Bud hat definitiv die zentrale Pflanze, Greta, ergeben. Nass hätte ich den Bud auf mindestens 12 g geschätzt. Ein Gesamtgewicht des nassen Pflanzenmaterials habe ich nicht ermittelt. Sobald alles trocken und fertig beschnitten ist, werde ich das Tagebuch um den trockenen Betrag ergänzen. Stand jetzt würde ich schätzen, dass der Ertrag aller Pflanzen bei circa 40-50 g liegt, was mich für meinen ersten Grow ziemlich zufrieden stellt, besonders in Anbetracht dieser wirklich sehr simplen Strain. Week 8

Hello everyone! I promised to track this grow very closely this time and ufortunately life got in the way. Here is a quick sumup of the grow. First of all- One of the sour stomper plants unfortunately didn't make it. It died at about week 4. The main stem somehow had rubbed/broken down. That's why it was falling down. It was almost like a mini beaver had chewed it off at the point where the stem touches the riot rooter. At first I thought nothing much of it, maybe it hasn't been rooted in quite well yet or something. And I was constantly touiching it when watering, that made it worse. Soo the leaves were dropping and the plant looked very weak. Then I decided cut thr rapid rooters top layer and found out the severity of the problem. Tried to tape it up and other things, but it was too late. At the end it appeared all good as the remaing plants got so big the I had some space issue so I wouldn't have been able to fit another plant in anyway. At that time I finally made my self-draining saucers. I took me a while and a lot of effort, but finally they were ready and working well. I also installed the self watering system and flowering was starting. Pretty soon I started noticing weird leaf symtoms. Brown spots, different kind. Some plants had it more, some less. Sour Stomper looked pretty good throughout the grow. Mango smiles seemed sensitive and Strawberry Nuggs were pretty strong until the end. The grow was basically me experimenting with the setup- changing watering schedules , changing ppm, ph and all that stuff to keep the leaves looking healthy and it was very hard I have to admit. Probably my hardest grow in that regard. But somehow, the bud leaves remained healthy and the buds really fattened up good. I got away with an amzing 700G dry bud harvest which was def a new record from one grow. And the bud quality is very good too! Next time definetly no more than 4 plants as they got pretty big and I thought it was a little overcrowded. I was doing some good defoliation too. I should have defolited strawberry nugs more tho. Sour Stomper got some amazing bud development from top to bottom because it was was growing next to strawberry nuggets which were really small most of the grow. They actually took the most time to harvest even longer than Mango smile. Mango smiles were ready quite early. Sour Stomper was just in time! I topped sour stomper and both Mangoi smiles, left SNs both normal. Looking back at it, the way I grow them, Should have topped SNs too. Would probably have more space in the middle and longer side branches. Probably wouldn't have been as bushy! I followed the full Terra aquatica feed chart until the end. I was supplementing with CalMag a lot as I thought the symptoms could have been from a CalMag deficiency as this was my first grow with RO water. Overall a very challenging but good grow at the end. First time no mold problems. A record breaking yield for me. Basically surpassed the upper limit for all plant probable harvest sizes. Got good smelling quality bud. Very happy overall and will continue experimenting with Mephisto beans in the future for sure! I guess what I like the most about Mephisto is how close to description the plant is, very stable genes in that regard. Next time I will also have to start feeding plants higher PPM feed faster at the very start. and during flowering. But still not 100% sure what caused the leaf symptoms.

The flower are very dense and I'm very happy to this. This is the last week that I feed my plants with nutrient, so the next week will start a flush period of two to three week.

Marker is doing great, enjoying its meals as usual. The berry-like scent is a pleasant surprise, no gas yet though. Excited to see how it develops! 😊🌿

So its come to the end of the first week and the little ones are doing great. At the start of the new week they will get their first watering and we will start a consistent schedule.

Had to harvest the lower buds because of aphids... Rest looks great though. One of the plants is budding nicely, I think the seeds were mixed as one is small and theres still two plants that aren't budding yet, other than that plants seem to be growing well, the plant that's budding smells Diesely/Sour with a bit of citrus [Not classing the growdiary as flowering yet as only one of the plants is flowering at the moment] I've also added some rope to some of the branches to pull them towards the ground and further into the light, will update with pictures when I next go water them The training seems to be having an effect already and some of the trained branches are growing upwards now

All things good this week! Did my weekly water change on Monday and kept nutrients the same as last week, so right around 3.2-3.3 EC (Gunna start lowering EC around week 6 of flower). Wish I had my reservoir set up since PH has been dropping a little, been using a good amount pf PH up to kept PH around 5.9. Did a lot of defoliation, lollipopping and turned up the lights the slightest amount. Got about another 5 inches of stretch this week and shouldn't see much more. Time for the buds to develop and fill in!!! Terps is coming in strong, like you're walking through an orange field.

W3D1 - I literally dont do a thing other than check pH and ppm. Lotus nutrients have been the cleanest nutrients I have used so far, the water is clean, roots look great and the plants are exploding with growth. I don’t think I need to cycle the reservoir water anytime soon but I’ll be switching the water out next week. 6/13/20 - did some light defoliation this week, disconnected the reservoir in preparation of the water swap and layout change, Also added the tent lining back in order to better control the environment. Snapped a small branch on one of the plants during LST but luckily is was a lower node growth and not the main top! I’m pretty sure i might have slightly stunted this one but its still growing pretty healthy. I am trying to keep better track of this grow, i started this grow during le quarantine and was called back to work so the work/life schedule has changed all up...
