week 3 is a tough rn not gonna lie shes yellowing extremely fast and shes begging me for potassium. i was just giving her 2 tsps to 3 gallons of water. as of today (jan 8 2022) i gave her a feed of 1 and 1/4 bloom and 1/4 veg nutes to try to fight the yellowing. i honestly dont know if that was the right thing to do most threads i read just said to add some nitrogen but idk if dyna gros bloom and grow are meant to be mixed. especially this late in flower. either way its too late i already gave it to her i guess now all i can do is wait and see what happens. you can see how fast the yellowing is happening too.

Often, marijuana growers who have their plants in indoor grow tents or rooms with artificial lighting, take into account parameters such as temperature and relative humidity to maximize plants growth and bloom, thus obtaining abundant harvest with top quality flowers. As we will see later, these factors affect different processes of the plant, such as transpiration or nutrient uptake. However, we usually forget about another important factor that is related to the aforementioned ones: vapor pressure deficit or VPD. Broadly speaking, VPD is the difference between the amount of water vapor that the atmosphere is able to retain (which depends on temperature) and the amount of water vapor contained in it (relative humidity). It is usually measured in kilopascals (kPa). Providing our plants with a correct relationship between temperature and relative moisture will keep us on the right VPD parameters, increasing the plant’s activity and thus improving its growth and showing its full potential during the flowering phase. The ideal would be to adjust both parameters (temperature and humidity) to get the best possible VPD value, so that the development of plants will be amazing.In the chart above you can see the right temperature and moisture values to maximize the development of cannabis plants. The green zone shows you optimal values of VPD, in which it would be ideal to maintain the environment. The orange zone shows correct values, in which plants should not have problems to develop normally. However, red areas show values in which your plants will be very far from hit their full potential, since the relation between temperature and moisture is not optimal. With relatively high values of VPD (between 5 and 12) plants tend to open their stomata and release a considerable amount of water vapor into the environment (increasing their transpiration). This increase in transpiration results in an increase in the plant’s photosynthetic activity, which will need more nutrients and will improve its overall growth, both during growth and bloom. The best range is between 7.5 and 10.5, which we have marked in green. However, we must be careful that VPD is not too high (dark red zone) since the plant would close its stomata to avoid releasing too much water vapor to the environment, which would result in fast dehydration due to excessive transpiration. On the other hand, if VPD is too low (light red zone), the plant will also close its stomata for not releasing more water into the atmosphere, which in this case would be already saturated (it would have reached the maximum water retention capacity in a specific temperature). In this way, reducing transpiration will also reduce photosynthesis, which has a direct impact on the plant’s development and yield. That way, VPD is essential when it comes to offer the best conditions for the development of plants, also to understand its water requirements according to the nutrients used and thus adjust them correctly to meet the grower’s expectations. What a beautiful girl she is, getting thicker by the day. The smell is nice and strong, like overripe fruit, earth and cleaning agent. Very lovely with still two more weeks to go..

Day 142 11/06/25 Wednesday Harvested the Red Gorilla Girl XL today! This run of autos I haven't done any dark period before harvest except, I managed to catch them just as lights were coming on. She has performed amazingly in consideration that she was only in a 2.5L pot. In hindsight, I now know I am able to do a SOG with small auto pots. Making for an exciting next run. Upon harvesting the Red GG XL, The pungent smell of berry, diesel and sweet scents is intoxicating. The buds are dense and compact, with formed calyx's boasting with trichomes. Wet weight on this was 376g of buds. (All wet trim gets dried in hangers and used for making butter later) To my suprise a super easer one to trim, nice size buds with not alot of sugar leaves. She is now hanging drying in a 80x80 tent , with a small fan on low @ netted window entrance, facing down to circulate air from bottom to top. An exhausting fan with carbon filter also runs 2x a day for 1 hour. Again This lasted for 8days before humidity dropped to 49%. I have now put into containers to allow inner moisture to pull through now. After 3-4 more days she will have final trim and placed into Terp Loc Grove Bags to cure. Once curing I shall do a smoke report, dry bud weight, and update journal. Thank you to everyone who followed along for this one, the comments and support! Hi everyone 👊🏻 thanks for checking in 😏, so we have started flowering this week on the bigger tent using the 2 Lumii 720w LEDs, we might or might not run into some hight issues well see… And we have the other 1.2 tent set up for the clones there under 1 Lumii 720w led delivered until I can another one sorted few weeks 🤙🏻 get them under that for a few weeks then get them flowering as well. This is obviously not week one. I had this Power Africa clone in the corner of my mother tent under some weak CFL lights, i transplanted it A week or two ago. I have no definite plans for this plant but I decided to HST her today, i'll see what happens over the next couple weeks. I do intend to turn the harvest into hash, so 100 grams would do fine.
