Day 28 Today marks Day 28 since germination and, critically, we are now firmly in the early to mid-flowering phase. The vegetative "stretch" is likely complete or winding down, and the plant is transitioning its energy almost entirely to flower production. Ich habe 11-Liter-Töpfe vorbereitet und 25 g Root Max in jede Topf mit All Mix Erde gemischt. Für die Keimung habe ich einfach mit dem Finger ein Loch in die Erde gemacht und die Samen hineingedrückt. DWC stripped to the wood no suckers only AAAA quality buds I’m looking for especially if she’s a leafier bud. It’ll be a challenge keeping her in Veg any longer but still looking at minimum two week before she sees the flower tent. Week 7 Flower, frosty, smells great, she really puts on the weight late flower so it’ll be interesting to see where she stops.

Well into flowering now. She is definitely a more indica phenotype 😭 I must have lucked out first time round with such a Sativa phenotype 😍 I'd love to know more on this side. The likely phenotypes, and how and why they come about. Also what is the likelyhood/prevalence of each of the phenotypes....... So many questions 😂 But anyway, she's looking absolutely fab. Flowers developing well so on she goes a few more weeks! 👌

Without support, branches would fall under their own weight, which is a good sign of strong flower density but also a reminder of the importance of plant training. The frost continues to thicken, and the trichomes look spectacular up close, sparkling in photos and videos like tiny glass forests. ⸻ ⚠️ Trouble in Paradise – Bud Rot But with big flowers also come risks. This week, Bud Rot (Botrytis cinerea) showed up on BlueBerry #2. • Conditions: High humidity (65%+, sometimes higher) combined with dense flowers created the perfect environment for rot. • Detection: Early spotting saved the plant. It thrives in humid, poorly ventilated conditions, especially inside large dense colas where moisture can hide. How to prevent: • Keep humidity lower during flower (ideally 40–50%). • Maintain constant airflow across and through the canopy. • Defoliate strategically to open airflow inside dense plants. • Avoid watering late in the cycle to reduce night-time moisture. What to do if it appears: • Act quickly. Remove all affected buds immediately. • Sterilize scissors/tools between cuts to avoid spreading spores. • Keep monitoring daily — once it appears, it can spread fast. Bud Rot is every grower’s nightmare, but also one of the most important lessons in environmental balance. ⸻ 💡 Lessons Learned (and Moving Forward) This 8x8 setup is teaching us a lot. For the next run, I’ll be redesigning the airflow system entirely to prevent these issues. For now, the plants are still thriving, and catching the rot early means we can continue with this grow. Big flowers are a blessing, but they require serious air control. We’re already working on solutions, including an AC and new placement strategies, which I’ll cover in more detail on YouTube. ⸻ 📸 The Beauty Side Even with this challenge, the girls are stunning: • Massive colas held up by yo-yos. • Sparkling trichome close-ups showing the magic of Week 6. • Heavy branches bending under the weight of their own production. This wonderful ak 420 is developing very good, now she's been Transplanted ill start working on her lst to get a very beautiful ak420 bush. She's looking super healthy on her living soil by florganics and she's developing very fast. Let's see what happens.

Holy Sunday She is two weeks in flower and grows so vigours. Every Day I keep on tucking the branches under the strings. The Screen is slowly filling up. In 4 or 5 days I will stopp tucking. We're having a big freeze in the state and they are asking us to conserve electricity, so I didn't add extra heat to the grow room. Plants still expanding though, so this is the last week of vegetation. The ScrOG is almost full, so I expect it will fill in during the first couple weeks of flower. Changed the lighting to 12/12 on Day 48. Bought the Clone Master 25 to take clones of these 3 plants before they shift to flower. Took 3 snips of the 3 different strains. Going to play with clones a bit.
