WEEK 9 (DAY 64-70) This week, my plants have significantly increased in volume. The buds are abundant, firm, and smell very sweet. Thanks to mainlining, they've become small and compact, now consisting almost entirely of flowers. For the past few weeks, I've switched to 24-hour lighting to avoid climate fluctuations and speed up the flowering process. So far, this has proven very effective. The plants are growing at a high speed, and I think I'll be harvesting in two weeks at the latest. I've set my lights to 700 PPFD. While this gives me a rather high DLI (Daily Light Integral), the plants don't seem to mind so far. Due to the high temperatures and strong growth, I have to water at least every 24 hours. I'm currently alternating nutrients with Biobizz and Plagron Green Sensation. Last week, I defoliated the plants again to ensure good air circulation around the buds and to direct all energy towards flower production. Thanks to the high transpiration rates, I'm managing to keep the room's humidity just under 60%. It's not optimal, but I think it will work out. 3-16 part 1. Very robust growth. I had to tuck the fan leaves under the growing lower stems so they could get some light and stretch. Leaf and stem growth has a good color to it and I will up the nutes by half a teaspoon and rotate Martha so she can get light everywhere possible. 3-16 part 2. After I came home from work What did I see but the top of Martha had been sliced off! it seems the metal tie-down stake was too tight against the resistance of growth and she snapped at the top. Its a clean cut and at the right spot. I raised the light to 24" in hopes she will stretch out abit faster. 3-21 VEG GROWTH ACCELERATING UP.

These seeds seem to be doing great. They were misplaced for some time so happy to see them back and thriving. These girls will do great. My primary focus with this grow is bigger yields.

Day 60F The PM on the cheese has gotten significantly worse in the last few days. I think it may have something to do with the constant humidity spikes every time I water. I haven’t been running my humidifier at all in flower so maybe it’s having trouble keeping the RH up during lights on. Just another reason to follow a daily watering schedule. The cheese and slurricane look fucking disgusting and I’m starting to doubt that a peroxide wash can totally fix it. It worked well for my outdoor crop so it should be fine but this time there is probably 3x the amount. I’ll make sure to really soak the buds and rinse them off good. Bbb#1 is flopping over like crazy from the weight. Too late to stake it up now so hopefully it holds until next week. Starting to foxtail a bit but nothing too bad. It is now 100% done and ready for chop. Bbb#2 is just getting frostier and frostier by the day. The purple fade is really coming along nicely too. Might reveg. It is now 100% done and ready for harvest. Black garlic #1 is finally filling out! I can’t believe it. Never heard of a plant packing weight on like that in week 8. The breeder did mention that it packs on weight later but I’m stunned. Taking her to 9.5 weeks. Black garlic #2 is looking very average. Average color, average size buds, average frost, average smell, probably an average yield. And it’s starting to get a bit of PM. Overall not happy. Will be taking her to 9.5 weeks. Zkittlez #1 has pleasantly surprised me. It was a bushy runt in veg but came through. It’s the third frostiest in the tent, super dense, stacked tight, smells great and looks great. It’s already got a nice amount of amber so it’s 100% ready for chop. Slurricane #4 looks insanely frosty even under all that PM. If I can’t wash it off it’s going in the trash. I want to chop this asap but have to cut everything at once unfortunately. It’s 100% ready for harvest. Badazz OG cheese is looking like a decent yielder but doesn’t have much else going for it. I think it still has some filling out to do. I can’t even smell the final profile change yet. The leaves are rotting off very quickly. Taking her 9.5 weeks. I don’t mind harvesting a bit later rather than early. From my outdoor experience, when a plant is picked early it smells like hay and wet grass clippings until it’s been curing for 3 weeks. When I harvest late or at 30-50% amber trichomes it smells like same scent profile it had when growing. Just my experience. I’ve read that the tobacco industry adds calcium and potassium carbonate to their crops to help promote fire holding capacity and to increase the whiteness of ash. Turns out some of the organic amendments I bought last week contain exactly that. I’m going to give each plant a light top dress to see if the tobacco industry is onto something.

W19 (Harvest) 6-6 Last day before harvest. 7-6 Harvest day! Installed a humidifier outside the tent, set to 55% aiming for a 60% humidity inside the dry tent. 21-6 After 14 days of slow drying she is ready to be trimmed. While posting this a couple of months later i found out that i totally forgot to make pictures and video's of the trimmed buds 😅 It was a very nice daytime smoke, tasted sweet-sour. End results: 74.26 Grams of bud 57.90 Grams of small buds and trim, in the freezer for bubble hash. I have some trim and small buds saved up from different strains and i will be posting a diary of the full process making hash of them! Went away for seven days had a friend come by and water the garden Absolutely exploded since I’ve seen them last very pleased with all of the plants except for mystery auto number one. It is disappointing me some but hopefully the top will bring more growth. Can’t wait to see these continued to develop!!!

The High intensity was to strong (clearly my fault) in the beginning which stunted her overall stretch, she however still delivered super dense, terpene and trichome loaded buds.
