The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures stay above the mid 40's℉, at which point she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes, and then let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 8/13- Week Two of flower is here for the FastBuds Wedding Cheesecake FF, and I must say how thoroughly impressed I am so far with this strain! It has withstood attacks by insects (leaf hoppers and Japanese Beatles), intense heat and humidity (110℉ heat indexes with 90+% RH) and multiple splits of two of her main branches at the trunk, and yet has grown into the 'Beast from the East' reaching over EIGHT feet in height and spreading her branches out to an enormous SIX foot diameter! Our weather has cooled off after last weeks tropical system passed and it's nice to have a much needed break from the heat and humidity! 8/15- I am continuing to water daily with 5-8 gallons of well water from the garden hose. Today, I top dressed the Wedding Cheesecake FF with 3 cups of Gaia Green 2-8-4 Power Bloom which I watered in with well water from the hose. I then applied 1/2 gallon of a nutrient mix I made up in 2 1/2g of well water consisting of: 1/4 cup Neptune's Harvest Seaweed(kelp) plant food and 2 1/2 tsp. of Plantonics Amino Bliss. While I was under the canopy I also removed a bunch of scraggly small, thin branches that were anywhere from 12" to 20" long and would never had amounted to anything worthwhile. 8/17- We had a couple of passing light rain showers today which didn't provide a lot of rain so I went ahead and watered the Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower with approximately 5g of well water just to make sure that she didn't get thirsty. 8/19- Thunderstorms yesterday and today have taken care of my watering duties and all I really had to do today is to remove some yellowed and dead leaves throughout the canopy. There is a lot of variation in the phenos, a couple of purple in-between them, and different growth structures and sizes.

Another new grow and like the OG kush, trying something new with this grow, by flipping to 12/12 for a week (without bloom nutrients). Also with this grow and the OG kush, I'm switching to the coco series nutes, as they have higher P & K values than the non-coco line up.

This week was particularly rough with the shock to the plants from overdosing on myco+ 3-0-3 Really instilled a sense of extra caution and at some level paranoia lol fortunately the plants have shown to be very resilient in their desire to Thrive and grow because a rain water flush worked like a dream

week intel: we reached the peak of flowering stage and need to cause a little more e.c stress from this week so e.c stress is twice a week i reduced the amount of Nitrogen and calcium and stopped feeding silicate in other hand i raised the amount of base nutrient and booster short story version: more K & P - less N stresses : a little E.C stress around 1 and 1.2 twice a week from this week feeding: i feed them 3 times this week with this order : day 1 : i feed them high with base nutrients(calcium & micros (half dose) + Bloom) about 566 ppm - 1.1 e.c to cause a little stress. day 3 : i feed them low dose of Top-Max + B-52 around 392 ppm - 0.7 e.c to let them recover a little but not fully recover still a little stress will caused. day 5 : i feed them high dose of Feeding Booster around 630 ppm - 1.2 e.c to cause e.c stress again guide of the week : e.c stress if done correctly is one of the very few ways to increase quality in all aspects ( color , aroma , taste , bud structure , resin contents ) but if you over do it , listen carefully brother : it can reduce quality in every aspect so always look for signs and never reach the red line

Lots to improve on next time. My first yield with this was 3 oz from a partially sunny balcony. I got about 7.5-8oz dry this time. This was the only female of 3 seeds I got from last years out door. My buddy crossed one of the males with a very pretty purple lady (mendo) and the next round I’ll be showin ya that. Trimming this stuff was super easy, it’s very sticky but I found the trim to be quicker / easier than some of the stuff I’ve trimmed for friends. It’s day 15 after chop, I just got them into jars, starting to smell perrrrtttyyy good! Still not the right structure/density i hope to achieve someday but overall I was happy with the results. Have yet to test it out but will leave a review once it’s ready to sample . ✌️🌲

YESTERDAY BAD THINGH HAPPENED. I realized that the PH meter was broken and the PH res were very much lower than what I guessed!! The roots was immerged from many days in a really acid solution. So I completely changed the res and eliminated all the rotten branches (that was many). I hope my girl will survive to this bad stress. Finger crossed New Res: 11/06 EC: 1,24 PH: 5,97 12/06 EC: 1447 PH: 6,38 13/06 EC: 1335 PH: 6,16 14/06 From now on, I will give only GHE Ripen (Final Part) to her. Planning to change the res on Friday, for the last two weeks of ripening with only ripen and bio bloom, adjusting the PH whenever above 6 to give some relief to her after 13 days in an acid solution. she seems to recover now (fingers crossed) Today I added 1L with 5ml of ripen and 4 drops of Bio Bloom and PH+ to raise up until 6,4. Now the res is: EC: 1403 PH: 6,45 15/06 The girl is survived and this is the only news I would like to hear! Now the PH is stable and the acid solution should be finally gone. From now on I will dispense only RIPEN: added 1l with 4 ml of ripen. On Friday night I will add florakleen for 24 hours and then on Saturday night new res with only ripen and Bio bloom before the final flush. Maybe this means the roots have finished to drain the previous acid res. I'm happy of that ! The EC is still raising, so I put less Ripen in the new added water. She's drinking a lot. I added 4 L of water today EC: 1655 PH: 6,26 17/06 Added 1L with only Ripen and Hydroguard Ready to change the solution the next week EC: 1684 PH: 6,17

I grew two plants and they couldn't have been and more different from each other. One plant grew quite well in my organic amended soil, the other suffered from pH issues and did not like any kind of stress. The plants leaves grew quite different some were webbed especially the ones on the larger flowers. The structure of the flowers on this plant are very chunky fox tail with absolutely gigantic caylex', almost had me thinking seeds. This plant also took almost 3 more weeks in flower than her sister. This plant also had a nice fade with some pink,red,violet,gold colors coming through. Both plant have similar smell with one being a little more pungent and gassy. Now for the normal plant, she grew like a rock star. Hey flowers are covered in sugar and are top shelf dense. She was too down about two weeks ago and is in jars and curing, let me say this though"when Barney's Farm says to use caution they mean it". This plant produced some very strong medicine so much so that I may have found a strain I would grow continually for a year or so. It's that good IMO. The plant did not give me a single bit of fuss 🤗, unlike her sister. Now I have the remaining plant hung up to dry and trim. Can't wait Cheers!!!

Week 7 of bloom, and I’m thrilled with how things are turning out!🌟 One of the plants has been fully flushed this week and is now ready to be harvested.🌱✂️ It’ll soon be hung up to dry, marking the end of its journey. This plant was incredibly quick, going from seed to harvest in record time—impressive!🍂😊 That leaves me with the other Banana Purple Punch, which has now started its flushing phase. In about 1 to 1.5 weeks, it’ll spend 48-72 hours in complete darkness before being harvested. This plant is looking fantastic, and I’m excited to see how it finishes up. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this grow. Each plant has shown its unique character and pace, making the process both rewarding and educational. Can’t wait to see the final results from the Banana Purple Punch!😊

There was a very high heat wave in my country! For the past week we had 40 ª Celsius during day time and 30ª during night time. I lowered the led potency to minimal settings and it workerd really good. The strais are the same and it is really easy to see the differences between them.

So welcome to Week 9 of the Sweet Seeds Gorilla Girl XL Autoflowering grow! Unfortunately after two years of due diligence- I was finally infected with Covid 19 so I have gotten really behind with this diary. In Week 7, I switched from the Grow to the Bloom fertilizer at a rate of 2.5 mls per gallon. I am still watering every 4th day at 3 litres per plant or 0.75 of a litre per day per plant. This strain seems particularly hungry/greedy so by the end of Week 7, I’ve decided to fertilize with every watering instead of every other. I’m not increasing the dosage of the fertilizer but the frequency in which it’s being given. Other than that the plants are doing fine through Weeks 7, 8 & 9 with the buds fattening up nicely, loads of wet to the touch resin and a super strong smell emanating from the tent even when it’s closed! That’s it for the past three weeks, Covid sucks and thank goodness harvest is just around the corner! Apologies for not offering up any further "mom’s tip of the week" but I’m just finishing up this diary for kicks at this point. Thanks.
