07/23/24. Going into week 4 flower Not much to report on this week. Slow going pretty much so far, but starting some bud growth now. Stretch seem done, though it was minimal surprisingly. Most bud sites are sitting right below the trellis lol. Have spotted an angry leaf. Looks like potassium deficiency, so I’ll be upping a tad and see how it goes. Haven’t changed anything else since last updates.

First off, the Runtz is looking very healthy and strong atm. During the last week, she first got transplanted into this bigger 10l fabric pot. I planted her out in Plagron Lightmix in the beginning off the week. Two days later I topped of her main branch, from which she too seems to be recovered allready. Halfway the week I started giving her the bloom, root and zym nutrients. I water her every morning and every evening by hand.

Theres so much frost on the flowers that they dont look purple because the camera flash on the trichomes reflect

She's growing well this week. Her flowers are fattening up nicely! I was a bit worried that they will be airy not dense, but I was being too impetuous 😬😅

week intel: its time to harvest some of plants the ones that is mature enough. indica dominant plants will done first always so we should harvest them first because my base nutrients and one of boosters was salt based, i'll do flushing this week to get some relieve to plants in the last days stresses : flushing Drought stress via watering only one time with flushing this week feeding: day 1 : i flushed them with Advanced Nutrients Flawless finish and adjusted ph day 3 : no more feeding from now on day 5 : no more feeding from now on guide of the week : i harvest in 2 parts : first i harvest top of the branches and will let the lower buds to ripe another week then ill harvest the second wave. indica dominant plants will get done 1 or 2 weeks sooner than sativa dominant plants that will often takes more than 8 weeks so be aware to harvest them sooner. my dry and cure style is this: 3 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 3 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. im happy as hell with this harvest :D.

So this was my first grow on photos I have grown autos for a long time and I just couldn't waste my time anymore. I am pleased with the outcome but i will be starting a better diary with better plants in the coming weeks. Cheers. Light it up

4 September 2022 Flowering: 42 days - 6 weeks Tip of foliage showing sign of maybe pH imbalance or too much fertilizer? Did a small water flush. The run off water was very acidic, added water until run off was 6 pH Maybe time for water only now 10-15 more days till harvest??

First grow completed, turned out far better than I could ever have hoped, the plants totally bossed it for all the winging it and improvising I put them through, but we got there in the end haha, Looking forward to next grow, can't wait to enjoy using all good genetics, already have some Bruce banner #3 seeds ready to roll out :) Thanks for reading

End of the third week of the stretch and they certain out did stretch indeed😳. Had to crop over the tallest female - she just stretched wayyy too much and that’s gonna go against her in the rankings when we draw out our seed on each plant. The first male has dropped fully and the others are another 1-2 days out from harvest. We’ll collect all that pollen and store it for future use if it’s needed. The plants are all showing both similarities and differences - there’s an even distribution of sativa and indica leaning phenos which suggests that there is def. Some variability in terms of traits for this F1 generation. Exactly what we were looking for as we pare this down to the second filial generation. On the overall growth - absolutely no issues at all with nutritional deficiencies which is a welcome change of pace. The last while we’ve been growing some strains that have shown very odd reactions to nute changes and I suspect this is a result of certain strains simply being bred out too far. Hard to say but the radar is definitely up with the well known breeders right now. We have some real winner pheno clones that we’ve rooted and will be flowering out once we get this tent cleaned up and free of pollen. All told, the run is progressing much better than anticipated and with the rate of turnover through transition, I’m happy to say that there isn’t any one plant I won’t consider test running on the next cycle. We did have some og auto genetics in the tent for pollination as well but that plant is looking like a bit of a mutant. Not sure if we’ll even bother with testing it at this point but you never know. Expect a harvest update on the males as we move in to the flowering side of the grow and then it’s just waiting around for seed👍. Alls well for now. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. I never intended for a huge plant. She grew in very close quarters with 2 other plants. I did accidentally split her in vegging down the middle. She has grown well for what I was wanting out of her. Nice heavy buds formed that have a great smell of sweet, and fruity. Sending her off to dry and will update when I get her processed out for smoke report. Sorry for the Massive gap in the diary. I got sidetracked by life . The purple punches are now in full flower. Around 24-30 inches tall . Currently enjoying a 36 degree heatwave. Purple hints of colours now showing on the leaves. Foliar fed today and top dress fed supersoil nutrients

The other plant you see is a gorilla sherbet f1 from sweet seeds.

Hello everyone, everything is good so far. I just had some trouble getting my humidity down. So I put my filter down and added 3 PC fans again. One for supply air and two for circulation. Together they consume around 10W. And lo and behold! It works. Now I'm consistently around 50%.
