Often, marijuana growers who have their plants in indoor grow tents or rooms with artificial lighting, take into account parameters such as temperature and relative humidity to maximize plants growth and bloom, thus obtaining abundant harvest with top quality flowers. As we will see later, these factors affect different processes of the plant, such as transpiration or nutrient uptake. However, we usually forget about another important factor that is related to the aforementioned ones: vapor pressure deficit or VPD. Broadly speaking, VPD is the difference between the amount of water vapor that the atmosphere is able to retain (which depends on temperature) and the amount of water vapor contained in it (relative humidity). It is usually measured in kilopascals (kPa). Providing our plants with a correct relationship between temperature and relative moisture will keep us on the right VPD parameters, increasing the plant’s activity and thus improving its growth and showing its full potential during the flowering phase. The ideal would be to adjust both parameters (temperature and humidity) to get the best possible VPD value, so that the development of plants will be amazing.In the chart above you can see the right temperature and moisture values to maximize the development of cannabis plants. The green zone shows you optimal values of VPD, in which it would be ideal to maintain the environment. The orange zone shows correct values, in which plants should not have problems to develop normally. However, red areas show values in which your plants will be very far from hit their full potential, since the relation between temperature and moisture is not optimal. With relatively high values of VPD (between 5 and 12) plants tend to open their stomata and release a considerable amount of water vapor into the environment (increasing their transpiration). This increase in transpiration results in an increase in the plant’s photosynthetic activity, which will need more nutrients and will improve its overall growth, both during growth and bloom. The best range is between 7.5 and 10.5, which we have marked in green. However, we must be careful that VPD is not too high (dark red zone) since the plant would close its stomata to avoid releasing too much water vapor to the environment, which would result in fast dehydration due to excessive transpiration. On the other hand, if VPD is too low (light red zone), the plant will also close its stomata for not releasing more water into the atmosphere, which in this case would be already saturated (it would have reached the maximum water retention capacity in a specific temperature). In this way, reducing transpiration will also reduce photosynthesis, which has a direct impact on the plant’s development and yield. That way, VPD is essential when it comes to offer the best conditions for the development of plants, also to understand its water requirements according to the nutrients used and thus adjust them correctly to meet the grower’s expectations. I've done lollipopping after 20 days of flowering, and I've now stopped using root fertilizer. I love how fat the buds have already become.

First the trichomes then the plumping. Still at trichome production they all smell great. Gorilla Zkittles, Gelat.og, and elderberry smell soooo damn sweet and dank. GZ has this orange spice smell. 🤤🤤🤤🤤

As you can see my ladies are growing well. The pistils are starting to get purple on the runtz muffin. It starts smelling a little bit and they drink a lot of water! Happy growing :D

03/22 - (M) - She is perfectly - Her numbers are spot on and the feeding schedule seems to be dialed in perfectly - I will increase her carbohydrate feeds with the Raw Cane Molasse to increase terpene production. 03/22 - (C) - Hit a little snag with the babies last week and through off their PH/EC/PPM's - Gave them a hard flush yesterday (Only distilled water) to stabilize the numbers and got all of them down to optimal levels. Did some defoliation on the yellowing leaves. I will upload both night and day shots for this week for the babies 03/23 -(C) - Flushed them out hard last night and in less then 24hrs WHABAMMMM!!! they are already bouncing back - Will stick to just clean water feeds for now - They will begin a low-dosage nutrient feed (Micro-dosing) in about a week.😎😎😎😎😎😎😎 03/24 - (C) Flush out complete - They have all bounced back and back to running accordingly - Running AC infinity supp lights and level 2 for under top canopy coverage. 03/27 - (C) - All 8 have bounced back after heavy flush accordingly - Added supp light for side coverage and the ladies seem to be loving it - Might drop the lights a little to avoid over stretching.

Comparando la situazione generale con quella sotto il led (pressoché simile per genetica) qui siamo molto più indietro nonostante abbiano avuto qualche giorno in più di vegetazione. Ma per espansione del verde e altezza sembra di essere settimane indietro. Detto questo la struttura e comunque buona è molto simile alle altre, sicuramente saranno fenotipi selezionati, con internodi ben predisposti e non troppo distanziati. Inserite le clip anche qui ma non ho ancora le foto, le posterò la settimana successiva.

XL livin the XL life and just dominating the tent with her phatness , she’s a frosty big gurl , fruity and sticky . I smoked a bit already and it was intoxicating, really sat me back like a good kush . Luckily enough I love it coz there is a lot of it to smoke and I plan on smoking it all 💨XL life is good . Another week or so to go and, I can’t move her around anymore to defol coz the weight of the buds is bending over all the branches ( good problems) banger of a XL

Another busy week with the vege. I gave it microbes, a HID lamp at 400 watts, sprayed for bugs and also covered the media with plastic wrap to get rid of 3 or 4 gnarts and of course a had another flood with the GoGro water system and I took one plant out of the garden because she is frozen in time. I still don't know why. The trellis is doing good. Lots of work.

09/26/2021 Starting week #7 of flower still picking caterpillar, and eggs of leaves, not to serious as we are on top of it. Starting the week with banana peel tea drench 2 gallons per girl, which is all she will get besides water till harvest. Still small flushes of pistils coming out I believe she (Hulk) is in final stage of flower (4) lots of orange hairs (pistils) but fresh one coming out daily albeit slower. Hopefully she fatting up in coming weeks. 09/28/2021 Week7 Day #3 Definitely seeing more calyx swelling. #1 is chunking up nicely #2 looks good little bud rot were caused from cattipillar poop! #3 coming from behind Will be last to harvest for sure.

With a bigger pot could have definitely pulled off more but very happy with the result and quality of buds produced.

This girl got transplanted into a 10 gallon pot and she is loving it…responding to LST very well after defoliation with Some new leaf growth.
