Overall this grow was smooth and didn’t notice any major issues, other than a calcium deficiency early on in flowering. She was a beast of a plant just didn’t get really compact buds with her and she’s definitely got a lot of airy buds throughout. I’m still pleased overall with the grow and want to do another one here soon.

🍋🍌 Persian Pie - Green House Seed 🍌🍋 Today was a great day in the grow room! I did some transplanting and used a couple of new products that I'm really excited about. I used Extreme Mycorrhizae and mix it with clean soil for the first time. I'm confident that this addition to my routine is going to take my plants to the next level. In addition to the transplanting, I decided to trim back two of the upper fan leaves, to allow the lower shoots to start growing more vigorously. It's all about maximizing that growth potential! day 48 - The buds keep getting fat and the calmag problem has been solved. I like the smell and the color of the buds, its like black as you can see at some pictures.

The bigger plant is doing amazing, I supercropped the top branch and it instantly accepted it and the buds were reaching within the hour! The little guy I’m still not so sure about yet.

Week 2 has had some explosive root growth! As soon as they got enough roots in the solution, you can tell from the color they are eating well and they are really starting to pick up some growth on top. Trying to get the VPD dialed in during the day, with the dehumidifier running at night to keep the humidity in check with lights out. It seems to be successful so far.

I've overwatered my plants the past 2 times, so I let them go through the whole drying cycle which took all week. I'm feeding them tomorrow morning. I put up my trellis and trained a couple branches and tops are already evening out. I also battled some fungus gnats this week.

* 3rd December - Day 14 from seed * Well, what a week! And I wasn't even here to enjoy it. My partner lovingly tended Nora (we decided to name her) while I was away. Looking at 'germination week', you'll see I was constantly aerating the nutrient solution. For the first 4 days, my partner was pH adjusting the solution (Rhizotonic seems to leave pH constantly climbing - around half a point per day), pouring out any old solution from Nora's 'semi-kratky' pot, then syringing 24ml of solution through the rockwool. As soon as the tap root was around half way down the pot (4th day), we filled the pot so the tap root was just touching a well of nutrient solution within the pot. Each day, the solution was emptied and refreshed - not taking any Pythium chances here. Within the next 3 days the rest of the explosive root growth came bursting through the rockwool. So, time to transport her. Made some changes to the bucket: lots of holes in the rim for LST, full foil-bubble insulation (including around the rim of the net pot , and aluminium tape around the entire silicone air line - zero light leaks), a very large new air stone, and a 25w pump to power it. The pump is ridiculously quiet - not 'quiet for 25w', simply ridiculously quiet. And as you can see, it creates a bucket which looks like a pot on full boil. There's absolutely no way pythium is getting any sort of foothold on this grow. The root explosion made it very easy to position the rockwool cube within the hydroton - the roots are submerged while the rockwool sits just above. Decided to stick with the Formulex as it's doing a grand job, albeit the dose has been kicked up. Swapping the Rhizotonic for Regenaroot as I hear very good things, including that pH remains stable! Will now use Rhizo for foliar applications only.

Flush week, straight water flush and I expect to chop and harvest this coming Sunday, maybe Saturday depending on trichomes and how dry the promix HP is. Overall I'm happy with this plants growth, she survived a heat stress issue and has developed lots of bud. While not huge buds, compared to my last grow of this strain, I'm still super pumped with this strain/plant. Updates will come after harvest and after drying for final weight total.

Wk8 Flower (2nd week of flower day 15) So this week has been another quiet week. I have been pinching out big fan leaves that are cover multiple tops to persuade even growth over the canopy. I have also cleaned out under her skirt a bit more to get rid of the unwanted and wasted growth. Only water with EM1 has been added to the res over the week she is currently drinking up to 6ltrs a day and growing around an inch taller in a 24hour period. I noticed a bad stagnant smell coming from the res so have added some lacto bacillus serum which should help that settle. Although the plant isn't complaining bad smells normally means bad microbes which in numbers are very bad. She is showing alot of pistols now and I'd expect to see bud sites prominent by end of the week mind you I don't actually think she has fully started to stretch yet! I'm keeping an eye on her closely as next week I am away and was hoping that stretch would have come and gone by now. We will see!! This week I plan to add some water soluable calcium and an alfalfa seed sprout tea. I've started to drop my humidity down every couple of days to simulate change and have my light set at 40cm

Girls are in pre-flower and going head to head in development. Not expecting them to grow super tall but time will show. Considering to let them grow freely and not installing scrog net. This idea may change in coming days. 2 waterings of 2.5 l on Mar 2+ foliar feeding and second in Mar 7. May take another week before first runoff experience. Continously leaves tucking. Girls are responding perfectly to feeding like also to my LST. Another slow week. I increased light schedule to 13/11. I’m going to slowly lower the time of light until by the time harvest day comes it’ll have a longer dark period. I’m also going to stop feeding the bottle nutrients my soil is moist still so I gotta wait. I’m predicting a couple ounces this grow.

It’s been a strange week this week, few ups and downs, happy with the leaf development and general health of the girls but i think they might be lacking a bit of height and length between the nodes so I’ve been advised to not increase my wattage just yet and to increase the distance from light. I’ve also in the last couple of days moved them to the outer side of the tent, not like I’m lacking the space lol, in hope that this will encourage them to stretch up and out in search for more light; fingers crossed its a winning combo. Still only feeding water when soils dried up. Will deffo put a couple more plants in next time.
