Week 4 of flower and it’s been a week for the books. The males gizzed all over the females and we spent the better part of a week harvesting the males for pollen, then defoliating and spraying the pollinated females, then going full sanitize on the entire tent… (that part always sucks). Either way, they’re off to the seed making and generally showing a brilliant, yet subtle pink across most phenos. Gonna be pretty cool seeing how the colours develop on these👌. The fact that the pinks are prevalent amongst all plants is very encouraging. Still early for sure - but… potential for something special👍. Terp. Profiles are becoming quite pronounced now too. So far, we’ve got one that smells of a very sweet sorta pine in female #3 and a definitive baked berrry scent in female #1. The hope was always to balance out the earthiness of the Kush which is classic to the strain in terms of taste, just not overly tasty. Again, still early but we might’ve achieved that here on crossing🤞👌. All told and as long as we keep ‘em alive to the finish - we should have tons of seed and a well defined set of partially drilled down traits. Counting 3 discernible potential phenos so far and can’t wait to see what the clones reveal🤟. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. This week was good for the Cream auto. I performed some defoliation and undid the LST for a couple days as well as raised the lights to 24" to induce some stretching. I did selectively begin LST on the Cream towards the end of week 5. She has been getting 1/4 strength flower nutes and recieved a fresh top dressing of hot soil coco coir mix; as her roots were surfacing. So far so good. Atleast 20 budsites are visible and she has responded well to all the training and is coming into her stretch period. Now all we are waiting on is them white pistols to start shooting at the budsites. Hopefully week 6 will entail this! She should be at about half of her life span at this point. 4-5 weeks more of flower is expected before harvest.

Today marks the end of the seventh week for my cannabis plant, and things are looking fantastic! The buds are developing beautifully, swelling up with each passing day. It's incredible to see how much they've grown in such a short time. The first trichomes are starting to appear.🌱💚 I'm also happy to report that the nematodes have done their job effectively. The plant is much healthier now, bouncing back from any issues it had before. I'm feeling optimistic as I watch it recover and flourish. I can't wait to see how the buds develop further as we head into the final stages!💚

The weather was sunny and hot this week and the plants grew pretty well even if they have long and thin stems. The roots reached the bottom of the pot for most of them. The Gorilla Punch and the Pound Cake have developped some tiny lateral branches. The Gorilla Punch already have some pistils. So far, the most developped plants are Gorilla Punch and Pound Cake, followed by Orange Sherbet and Apricot. The Apricot stem is thinner than the other ones. Maybe due to its tougher start. Amazing Colours! As you can see the colours on this plant at the end of its run are absolutely amazing. The buds didnt out as dense as I had hoped but I think thats just this pheno and we are busy hunting a denser pheno atm. what a great strain to grow though. no problems during the cycle of the plant and the colours make it so rewarding to grow! I would definitely recommend this strain to people who like fruity and colourful plants. Barneys never disappoints really;)

This was just a temporary stage where I put the plants on a wilma to keep em watered n growing nicely while I built my table for them, not much went wrong this week.. the other little ens are in the little veg tent as well waiting to be potted up into there final home

LST started only on the Northern Lights and one of the Lemon Shining Silver. All nutrients only being applied to the automatics (N. Lights and Dwarf). The Lemon still being fed with Grow, Fish, Heaven and Acti-vera plus small portions of Call mag as preventive. Quantity of water was reduced to improve the drainage and also to raise the amount of watering in a week. Before 2 times, now 3. Notes: The N.L 02 is growing in a pure soil as an experiment. Dark green leafs and fast growing terpenes. The N.L 01, she's growing with only the fingers leafs. Dwarf is the most beauty and healthy between them. All those three Lemon are growing beautifully and look going pretty well in hers vegetative phase. LST applied only in one of them as an experience.
