7/24/23 - Day 42 - Ok, so where to start? I'm going to go over the last couple days of issues/troubleshooting. We had an issue with the lights not coming on for a whole day/night cycle. That was a couple of days ago, and everything seems okay since then. I had some Canoeing/tacoing on the leaves once the lights were back on. I think I had the PH too low, 5.8. In flower, I should start moving it up the scale. Once I corrected the PH to 6.2, the canoeing/tacoing in the leaves seemed to be gone/almost gone. I'm REALLY worried about the height of the plant. She is only 12 in. from the light that I cannot move. I added a second scrogg net???? I don't know if that's done a lot, but I'm going to try and stop if from growing straight up. I think the best I can do is give it a lean. So Ill call this the ScoggGL (GangstaLean). You'll see some pictures up top as I start the ScoggGL I did the first big trim and pulled a 3-gallon bucket of fan leaves out. I cut off a few side branches I didn't want the plant to waste energy on. I trimmed so many leaves off it was crazy. The smells have been awesome! You all know the smell of the fresh plant stems and leaves as you trim and rub across them. It's one of my favorite smells, which is in full effect. I noticed that I have some pistils growing. I know what that means, shes going to have some flowers here in the next week. I couldn't be more excited!!!!! The roots are just downright ruthless; they have been growing out of control. I have a great picture of them in there with no water. I should note that I did two things that might have solved the Tacoing in the leaves. It could have been one or the other, but it also could be a combo of both things. I did the trimming to get some airflow between the leaves and changed the target for my PH from 5.8 to 6.2. When moving into flowering, I should have already done that. But I did both things while the leaves were Tacoing, and now they are not. I wanted to make sure I noted that. 7/26/23 - Day 44 - Things are looking great. No more tacoing, she's growing and still drinking about 2+ gallons a day of water. I hope the vertical growth stops soon, I want to remove a ton more fan leaves, and I'm hoping that it spends more time growing around than up, I'm keeping some leaves on just to slow some vertical growth. 7/27/23 - Day 45 - She's sleeping right now, but I will chop some more fan leaves when she wakes up. She's growing too tall, and I need to find a way to stop her. I think shocking her system will help stunt her growth. How crazy is this, what a conundrum I'm in. Normally I stress out trying to find the right time to trim to avoid stunting growth. I always keep my plants busy and do one or two chops. I think they need to grow as mother nature intended. Let them grow and do one, maybe two fan leave chops. That's always been my motto and its always worked out great for me. This is now the exact opposite. Feels weird even thinking about it, doing a leave chop two weeks into flower..... ARE YOU INSANE!!!!!! Lol The 2nd chop has happened. I took a ton of fan leaves off. It's time for the plant to slow down heal and start working on the buds! Let's see how this goes over the next couple of days. I added a timelapse of me chopping her up. 7/28/23 - Day 46 - After adding more water last night, I was checking PH, and I did a quick check on the ppm from the nutes. If it went from 600ppm down to 130ppm in a couple of days. So we decided to give her another dose of nutes so she has something to eat. I'll update you after she wakes up for the day. The Afghan #1 has received a full defoliation and all flower sights are exposed. Leaves showing signs of nutrient deprivation. The is slight bud rot but nothing too concerning. most of the calyxes are swollen with nearly every pistol fading to a reddish brown colour and the try chromes are changing from milky to clear. The Afghan #1 feminised has a sweet pungent floral aroma emanating from her. There’s Stem decay as the lady is dying of the stem colour is fading to a dull green. Feeding is all complete!

Hello colleagues! Finally I am standing at the finish line, you are probably familiar with this pleasant feeling - the euphoria of the upcoming harvest. Due to the difference in phenotypes, I have a slight desynchronization in ripening (the pink one is definitely ready), but I decided to harvest on the same day. This is planned for next week, come and see the result. Thank you for stopping by, and be healthy! 🙏 To be continued... 😶

SUMMARY: Still on Mid Bloom strength nutes this week (+ 1 tablespoon of molasses per 5L). Irrigating once every 24hrs as always with her taking in about 2.2L average per day and always aiming for 20-30% runoff. Whilst she has many tops, they're very skinny and I'm not sure they are going to fill out to be honest. DAY 58 ------ Friday 19th February 18:30 I found the tent at 28% RH. No idea how that's occurred but I did notice it was hotter then usual this morning. I turned the dehumidifier of for a couple of hours and it jumped back up to 61% and so I will just set it to 55% RH. I fed Jesus 2.2L of early bloom nutes which produced 195ml runoff (9%). Will up this back to 3L tomorrow. I adjusted a couple of ties to expose more bud sites. [24°C/52%] DAY 59 ------ Saturday 20th February 11:30 The tent temp has been sat at around 23°C overnight somehow. The dehumidifier keeping the humidity around 45-50% seems to also keep the temps between 23-27°C. Saturday 20th February 18:30 I fed Jesus 3L of mid bloom nutes which produced 1050ml runoff (34%). Looks like i have a humidity problem and so ive reluctantly removed some more leaves from Jesus as she is bushy again after a week or perhaps I didnt defol enough. If I have the dehumidifier off the humidity is in the low 60s but if I lower it to like 45-50% then the temps stays too high between 24°C-33°C. [22°C/64%] DAY 60 ------ Sunday 21st February 11:30 I made 5L of early bloom nutes at a pH of 5.8 and 5L of mid bloom nutes at a pH of 5.6, both made with tap water. Sunday 21st February 18:30 I fed Jesus 2.5L of mid bloom nutes which produced 825ml runoff (33%). [22°C/49%] DAY 61 ------ Monday 22nd February 11:45 I made 5L of mid bloom nutes with rain water at a pH of 5.9. I am adding half a tablespoon of molasses to every 5L now by adding just enough boiling water to liquify the molasses and then pour it into the feed. Monday 22nd February 18:30 I fed Jesus 2.5L of mid bloom nutes with molasses which produced 710ml runoff (28%). [22°C/55%] DAY 62 ------ Tuesday 23rd February 18:30 I fed Jesus 2.3L of mid bloom nutes which produced 640ml runoff (28%). With the dehumidifier set to 50% RH it seems to keep it at around 50% RH though the temps between 25-30°C. If I turn the dehumidifier off the RH climbs to 60-64%. Removing more leaves will lower the humidity and I do pluck the odd one every day that is blocking light (I rotate the plants daily 25° per day to ensure all sides get a fair share of light). [25°C/50%] DAY 63 ------ Wednesday 24th February 18:30 I fed Jesus 2120ml of mid bloom nutes with molasses which produced 200ml runoff (10%). The temps have risen to 30°C due to the dehumidifier. It is currently set to 50% RH which keeps the temps around 28-30°C and the RH at around 38-40%. I have increased the setting to 65% to see if that helps lower the temp and increase the RH up to 45-50%. [30°C/40%] DAY 64 -------- Thursday 25th February 11:30 I made 10L of mid bloom nutes with rainwater and molasses (level tablespoon per 5L). 5L at a pH of 5.9 and 5L at a pH of 5.8 Thursday 25th February 18:30 I fed Jesus 2.4L of mid bloom nutes which produced 700ml runoff (29%). [22°C/55%]

Harvest time for Do-si-dos round 2. The last 2 weeks of flowering and the week of flushing, lead to make growth in the size, density and weight of the buds. This plant has just blown my mind, compared to round 1. Will update in 7-14 days with dry weight and smoke test. Sept 8 - dry weight came in at 170 (minus about 5 grams) for smoke test. Very impressed with the final weight, bud quality, density and the unbelievably smooth smoke, that this Do-si-dos plant produced during round 2. I get so high off of one joint, I forget I even smoked one! This girl is definitely a keeper strain in my garden!

We’ve hit week five of flowering, and things are getting really exciting! 🌸 The plant is now covered in trichomes, and many of them are already turning a milky color—such a great sign that things are progressing perfectly. The buds are starting to look really frosty. ❄️✨ I’ve been following the BioBizz week 6 feeding schedule, as it’s almost time to flush the plant—just 2-3 more weeks to go! 💧 I’m getting more excited each day as we move closer to harvest. Can’t wait to see how everything finishes up! 😁🌱

Week 4: Heartbreak and Hope 🍍💔 The sight that greeted me today was devastating. Snails. Everywhere. They'd turned my once vibrant pineapple into a skeleton of its former self. I could barely bring myself to take a single photo, the sight was just too painful. Fueled by anger and determination, I launched Operation Snail Removal. Every half hour, armed with a flashlight and a bucket, I combed the raised bed and surrounding area. By the time darkness fell, I'd collected a horrifying 19 snails from her bed alone. Ugh. The next night, thankfully, was snail-free. I can only hope that the damage is done and my pineapple warrior can rally from this. I believe in her strength, her resilience. She's got to pull through.

The second grow is underway! 🙌🏽 I'm really excited to see how the ladies will grow. I hope the repotting won't stress them too much. I'm also curious to see how the Bio Bloom fertilizer from Greenhouse Feeding works with the autoflowering system. We'll see 🙌🏽 Stay tuned, I certainly am! 😇

We are at 21 days from these girls breaking the surface and they are making progress. I noticed at the beginning of the week that they were a little overdosed on nitrogen so I added 2 gallons of tap water to the reservoir and adjusted the ph to 6. They are still looking a little heavy on N but their growth rate is going great so I think it should balance out by the end of next week. I dont plan on doing a water change until I flower them. I left the plants alone most of the week. Tied most of them down to spread them out and defoliated a few lower leaves on day 20. The branches on most of these plants are thick and solid already. They don't budge easily. Bananasicle is looking pretty funky with uneven branch and node growth but we are just going to push forward. Still pumping nutrients and beaming light 24 hours a day. I'm thinking day 28 we will switch them to flower and see if any of these ladies can bring some❄️🔥💨

Done some LST, maybe too much lol ( I’m still learning). Topped all 4 successfully . Finally feel like I’m getting some where I have learned a hell of a lot just from these few weeks. This is the first time I’ve ever done any type of training in a strain and photoperiods so I’d rather focus on learning than just yeild.
