Just got these cuttings and they’re 2 weeks old in living soil. Gonna wait a couple of days then repot in coco with dots, guano, castings and recharge.

What up fam. Weekly update on these girls. During thus past week I found some dreadful catapillers in some of my flowers. It's never something you want to find but it's definitely part of the challenge growing outdoors. I started to harvest some for some fresh frozen so once I get them all done in the next couple weeks I'll know what my total is going to be. All in all Happy Growing.

Cutting this week.

The biggest auto I’ve grown to date! Had to tie up a few branches to keep them from falling over, looks like I’ve got a couple more to tie up! This girl would have been perfect for a scrog if I had any idea she’d get this big. Pretty sure the curling of the leaves towards the top of the plant is either from my fan being too close or from heat (or maybe both). It’s been a hot summer! Doing my best to keep her healthy 💚💚

5-26-19 Day 40 of flower and they are stacking hard! Smells are getting stronger and they are healthy. Feeding @ 550ppm (1.1ec) 6.1-6.3pH. Switching between Massive and Liquid Koolbloom every other week.

This week I tried to let them go, only did some gnat hunting with the vacuum to keep populations down. Sunshine found a great way to hold the plant down with some thrift store Christmas light fixtures. At the end of this week, I tied the remaining upward stalks down and away. The final bits of training before we can hopefully go towards flowering coming week. I did some foliar feeding also to help the soil dry out a bit, also to fight the gnats. Maybe overdid it a bit with a few yellow points on the leaves. On to flowering!!

Week 1 of veg. In the books and we have a stable of very healthy and incredibly vigorous plants on the grow here. Even the runty one (there’s always one) has shown some signs of strong growth and we may not end up culling her from the mix at all. Over the last couple days, growth has exploded with no signs of slowing down - even after their transplant to the bigger pots👍. They’re doing everything they’re supposed to and showing that F1 vigour at every step. So far, so good and we really couldn’t ask for a better start to this run. We incorporated a very mild solution of our primary nute this week - Druid Berkana. This stuff is a one part system designed for the whole cycle and its proven to be one of the best all-around nute brands we’ve tried to date. Some light foliar spraying with liquid karma continues to mid week and then they’re all on their own👌. Expecting big things from this run and if we get lucky with continued robust growth - might be able to take clones after the third week of veg and flip🤞🤞🤞. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Day 100 - (yes I know it's late) She is getting near the end now. Loosing a few leaves. Trichomes milky but not amber yet. Pistils still white in places. I added a 500ml Monster can for scale 😂 hope it's allowed............ 😋

You touch the the leafs, a small smell of tea like papaya fills the air. After having what's it seems calcium deficiency on the first 2 levels of leafs, I've raised the amount of Advanced Nutrients given and kept the same Dosis of organic Crazy Hills. So far great recovery, growth and sweet smell.

This grow started on October 20, and today is December 26, which puts the plants into Week 9 of the overall cycle. The last defoliation and pruning was done around December 16. After that, I made a conscious decision to stop cutting and stressing the plants. Earlier in veg I definitely over-stressed them — too much training, too many interventions. In hindsight, that slowed things down instead of helping. From this point on, the goal was to let the plants recover, grow freely, and build momentum in order to reach the flowering stage as smoothly and quickly as possible. Lesson learned for future grows: less stress fewer unnecessary cuts more patience Sometimes the hardest part is not touching the plants at all, especially when your hands are itching to train and optimize everything. Week 9 is about recovery, structure, and preparation for flower. Next week marks the start of flowering.

Cooled off some 17c days, a bit of rain, lots of wind, haven't put the trelis net up but she's strong enough for another few weeks. Some light defoliating, now that stretch is underway easier to see inside the cannopy and cut out anything that isn't keeping up. She looks incredibly healthy, clearly getting everything she needs from the Hugel. Heavy top dress last week she'll tear through it in no time. Flowering underway, heavy stretch, nodes bulking up and spitting out hairs, hoping for last week of Sept finish! Nothing much this week, lots of drip irrigation, monster maxx and silica weekly, and a weekly spray of LCPT, will add BT to LCPT maybe mid to end of August to combat the caterpillars. I'm hoping that this crazy distributed cannopy will help with bud rot and air flow as the buds should stay on the smaller side. The initial trelis net really helped to guide and evenly space the core nodes.
