09/26/2021 Starting week #7 of flower still picking caterpillar, and eggs of leaves, not to serious as we are on top of it. Starting the week with banana peel tea drench 2 gallons per girl, which is all she will get besides water till harvest. Still small flushes of pistils coming out I believe she (Hulk) is in final stage of flower (4) lots of orange hairs (pistils) but fresh one coming out daily albeit slower. Hopefully she fatting up in coming weeks. 09/28/2021 Week7 Day #3 Definitely seeing more calyx swelling. #1 is chunking up nicely #2 looks good little bud rot were caused from cattipillar poop! #3 coming from behind Will be last to harvest for sure.

Week 7 day 52: Ladies are not drinking as much it seems. Probably will continue to water 1.5gal every 3 days. Gave it some build a bloom today 6/29/22 as a final push. Just water from now on. They are just working on fattening up. Still throwing some white hairs but it is not much and trichomes are 20 % clear, 70% cloudy with the remaining 10% amber from what i can tell. I learned today, while using a microzoom hand held camera, that i am very shaky! I need to rig something up to hold the camera in place to get better pics.

As said before, I'm incredibly happy that I got to harvest a little bit. Never expected her to make it, but she kind off did! The smell was pungent and sweet like an amnesia haze should be, hoping that will be even better after drying and curing!

Week 7 had its share of temperatures variations . Combined with my lack of cfl bulb distance from buds knowledge had the tips of the calix turn light yellow and caused the pistils to turn orange at the tip. No serious harm done but this is how you become a better grower and getting to know how different phenotypes react to environmental changes and adaptation. Luckily for me the ruderalis genes in the blue dream matic from fastbuds makes her pretty resistant to stress and traumatic “mistakes “ cause you got real high one night and decided that defoliation would be great right now 👍🏻

Welp she started dying in her 2 gal pot so I moved the light back up and put her in a new 5 gal pot then she went into flower mode lol the lights will stay 18 hrs on for another week to let some of the other plants catch up

Week 10! First week of flower! I was eager and may have jumped the plan I had the other day of waiting another week but after some sound advice from a few people that inspired me to flip them to flower and watch them flourish!! Day 1..fed fox farm trio with some added aloe vera, very little..won't add anymore from here on out..I added some peroxide as well!! I opened the tent this evening and they were praying up to the mary Jane gods!! Just what their daddy wants to see!! Let's get this smoke to the heavens for the loved ones!! Aye!!! Thanks again to everyone who inspires me and has helped me along the way! Oh and I ordered a trellis net so it should be set up in the coming days!! I was going to enter the solo cup challenge with the mini Starbucks cup you see but I didn't realize time was ticking and i may end up throwing her away unfortunately as I dont have a tent to put her in with a light set at the right hours or whatever!! She wouldn't survive on 12 12 or would she? Day 2 of flower - I opened the tent this morning and the girls are reaching for the sky even more! HELLO GROWING FRIENDS - Please look at my Aftermovie Growvideo, which cost me about 4 hours to create. hope you like it! Day 72: The Finale 🌿🌟 It’s finally time. My very first grow is coming to an end—at least the cultivation phase. The plant is now ready for harvest, and I can’t believe how incredible this journey has been. I never expected to enjoy the whole process so much—from nurturing the plants to watching them grow and evolve. I’m absolutely hooked and can’t wait to dive into the next steps: harvesting, drying, curing, and of course, starting a new grow soon with fresh ideas and experiments! While it may not be the largest yield, the quality of the buds speaks for itself. The time, love, and care I’ve put into this grow is visible, and I’m pretty proud of the results. I’ll admit, I was a bit impatient at times (which I think every first-timer can relate to 😅), but the experience was priceless. Here are a few interesting highlights from my trimming and harvest process: 1️⃣ Dark Phase Before Harvest Two days before harvest, I put the plant in complete darkness to encourage resin production. I'm not sure if it really made a difference, but it was worth trying! 2️⃣ Wet Trim vs. Dry Trim I decided to go for a wet trim because the buds were really dense, and I wanted to avoid any risk of mold. I’ve read that wet trimming can speed up drying and may slightly impact the quality, but this is part of the learning experience. Next time, I’ll try a dry trim for comparison! 3️⃣ Yield Update Wet, the total came in at 209 grams from my plant. Trimming took around three hours, and it was actually a lot of fun, despite the time commitment. 4️⃣ Curing Plan The buds are now hanging in the tent for about 8 days. Once dried, they’ll go into jars with Boveda Packs (62% humidity) for another 3 weeks of curing. I'll update the smoke report once they’re fully cured, but I’ve already had a sample of the same strain from a friend, and I can say it’s pretty amazing. Final Thoughts on My Grow 🌱✨ As mentioned earlier, this grow has been an absolutely incredible experience, and it has definitely set me on a path to jump right into my next grow. There were ups and downs along the way, such as over-pruning, which I believe stressed the plants a bit. Additionally, I think they could have benefited from an extra week to mature. We also faced many temperature fluctuations this summer, which impacted the plants due to external weather conditions. I’m really pleased with the quality of the buds. The quantity is okay—I can’t fully gauge it yet—but I’m sure there’s more potential to unlock. I’ve gained valuable experience in what worked well and what didn’t. Overall, the countless lessons learned during this grow far outweigh the few mistakes made. I’m incredibly proud of my first results!
