This past week seen some fattening of buds. Pretty much all vertical growth has stoped . Now she is focusing on putting weight on. This plant has been a absolute joy to grow to date. I've only encountered a small deff early on and that's it. What dose surprise me is the tricomes she's putting on. I have to bed honest, this is one of the most frosty plants I've grown. Sweet Seeds says it should be mature around the 60 day mark , so far it seems right on track with that mark.

Day 50 400 ml plain rain - just drank up her nutes Day 51 400ml plain rain - prob need to thin her out for flower - instead going to lst the leading stems in the centre - try and get some 2dary growth and control that stretch and then see which other stems make it to the party by end of week Day 52 400ml plain rain Defoliated heavily for preflower stretch - took out all fans of strong established stems and fans of totally weak sites which I fimmed. Fimmed a few under branches. Pulled the leading mainlines out again - there is so much stretch so very soft, can't tie down so rolled them and the central stems that are leading - just to get them to toughen up. Exposed many who might be something - left their fans on if they wanna try. Then I decided I wanted to try the scrog idea I had and would you adam and eve it? It fit! Gentlefolks - may I present "disability_scrog". I had this left over from when I was real ill, and just thought with my cargo net from the car ... anyway I don't know what I'm thinking LOL. It fits - didn't take too long either but after the pruning and looking after my mite infested 24hr grow - I will save the tying in for tomorrow, yaaaaaay 😏 Day 53 Well yesterdays' defoliation has resulted in lots of stems going for it, going to hold off on tying in. Getting a good idea of the shape now - won't be long. 400ml of 2:1000ml grow big, tiger bloom 1:1000ml calmag in pH adjusted rain water Day 54 3:1000ml Big Bloom in 400ml plain rain OK - this is not a full scrog - the mainlining and intensive training were done thinking this was an auto 😏 so it leaves me doing this stinking job again - I swear one day I will do a proper scrog with proper ties from start and everything but in the meantime.... I intensively fimmed everything at bottom including their fans - leaving stronger stems to get more air & light. Under leading meristems, I left a few nodes and their fans for the general wellbeing of plant. The mainlines are still tied to get more light to the remaining branches I hope will stretch. As per usual I have two sap sucker leading stems that are screwing everything up - these are tucked and hoping won't hold up the rest from stretching. We'll see over next week if I need to lower the net or release her ties and unspring the plant and retie her in final position Day 55 Plain Rain 400ml Day 56 I reckon one more day and will tie her in 😊 She had 3:1000ml Big Bloom 2:1000ml Tiger Bloom Grow Big 1:1000ml Calmag in 500ml plain rain [she was thirsty] - last of the Grow Big for her now - Bloom all the way 👍👊 Great week 😎

Week 6 of my Runtz Fem Green Sensation test with/without using Plagron soil. The mother will be raised on Xpert Nutrients. And then when I take clones in the next week or 10 days. I'll be growing them as close as possible using Terra line from plagron. Days 35-40 Plant is really starting to push. Making sure to not the soil dry up. I only topped yesterday, so I'm hoping the nodes will start growing now. Giving me 4 sets. 1 row ( 2 sets/4 clones) will be taken. And from those 4 the 2 best rooted will be grown very similar to this using Plagron & of course Green Sensation with & without. I'll be using separate 9L pots once rooted to give them a good few weeks of veg without any need to uppot to bigger veg pots delaying the veg. Xpert Nutrients continues its amazing job. Seeing real growth now pushing it on. I won't bother doing any major fan leave removal until their nodes develop a bit more. Nutrients have been kept low. As its only been put in fresh grow mix a few weeks back. Mainly my focus is on roots, calmag & silica for stress. As you can see. I'm getting a very nice pheno for cloning. Day 41-42 She's moving along at a much quicker pace since topping 3 days ago. I think I'll have to remove fan leaves. As it continues focusing on growing leaves. D99/FD73 - Lost a couple of tops to the rampant rot that hit the tent. Got them out quick though. Had one day, after the sulfur burn where even though the fan was switched on, it didn't actually go on so humidity got up to the 70's-90's and a few corner pieces got the cheese. They had breathed 5L of water into the tent so it got a bit wet in there!!! like lying water in the tent!!! Have moved to the Dragon Force now to try and get these chopped by next week! Too many big buds in there to risk any more issues or failures!!! Been a big learning lesson this run!!! Nothing else on this week to report. Happy growing all!!! 💪

Big round of defoliation. Very excited to see stretch, they seem to have entered it after a few days delay. Been clearing up larf in rounds as well, they're not quite lollipopped but I've developed my colas. Most smaller tertiary branches are gone, unless theyre sturdy and not going to crowd. instead of completely removing offending tertiary branches, i have left a single node with a single growth tip on each to yield bud. Trying to remove only the weak, malformed growth and stuff that crowds.... want long, thick colas. Recharge, fresh Actively Aerated Compost Tea w/ alfalfa meal, organic cal mag only, sometimes just spring water and cal mag ph'd.

So this weeks Been warm again. Mid 20s all the way up to mid 30s I've started to Schwazz my plants in an effort to keep the airflow along the greenhouse floor . Seems to be working so far so we will see how they start to stack up.

Her flowers are continuing to bulk up and are covered in glistening trichomes. I watered today with 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was then ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉ turned her pot and shot a few pictures of her. And lastly, I have to address the 'elephant in the room'. Yes, it looks like she's got some seeds in her flowers. She's in my 4x8 with seven other ladies and, unbeknownst to me, my Do Si Dos #33 developed some male flowers that were EXTREMELY small and well hidden. As a result, she got fertilized. This happened so late into flower that I decided to go ahead and finish her out. My hopes are that I get some viable seeds which should be an interesting F1 cross between these two. 10/6- Today I watered her with 1.5g of her usual straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and turned her pot. She's just starting to fade, is still stacking her flowers, bulking up and has an incredible amount of trichomes which I'm beginning to monitor daily. 10/8- The routine of watering every other day continues like clockwork. Yesterday was a 'no water' day and I did a basic check over of the plant, removed a couple of yellowed lower leaves and turned her pot. Today she got the usual 1.5g of straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and had her pot turned. I've also begun to check her trichome development with a digital USB microscope to try to identify the ideal harvest time which, according to the breeder, will be here in around three weeks +/- but nothing is cut in stone so I'll let the trichomes determine when she's ready...ya never know, could be a lot sooner! 🤪 10/10- Well, Week Eight has come, gone and has been a trial once again of my patience with this 11-12 Week cultivar! She's so freaking frosty that I've wanted to chop her several times but, I know from experience, good things come to those who wait... then wait a bit more. I anticipate that she's not going to make the 77-84 days in flower 'suggested' by the breeder for best taste/yield and will probably go closer to the 9 weeks +/- which is the minimum recommended flowering period for this strain, but we'll have to see what her trichomes have to say! I've cut the wattage back on the HLG 650R to 500w at the wall now to simulate the way that sunshine becomes weaker as fall approaches due to the lower angle of the sun in the sky. This helps outdoor plants to know that winters on the way and they need to hurry up and complete their life cycle. Cutting the wattage back creates the same effect on the indoor plants, especially when coupled with lowered temperatures in the tent. I have also noticed that her water uptake has slowed. After her heavy watering on the 8th, her pot still had some weight to it and she was looking great so I went ahead and skipped watering her today, watering her tomorrow at lights on with her usual. Veg week two. Everything seems to be ok at this point.

5/5/2024 Pistils pistils pistils 5/8 these plants are fucking exploding! Super exciting to see them like this. Pistils everywhere and they’re just STACKING! don’t even see budlets yet, just pistils. The structure of these plants is beautiful. They handle training fairly well. I topped one and super cropped it and did a bit of lst. I was feeling impatient so I decided to see what happened if I pushed the one a little harder and left the other to grow naturally.

no problems at all, as usual if things are dialed in but just as long as it is. i did not change water yet, i fill it up every morning until water reaches the plastic pot. The water is ph corrected 5.5-6.5 somewhere around that with the same nutes but in lower concentration so it adds up to 1000ppm

It’s almost time! This week both plants are getting flushed to prepare them for harvest. 🌱 After that, they’ll be cut down and hung up to dry. #2 has developed an absolutely massive main bud — honestly the biggest I've ever had so far! Meanwhile, #1 stands proud as the tallest plant in the tent, still giving off that amazing sweet, tropical aroma.🍍🍬 Both plants have shown a very fast flowering time, finishing up quicker than expected! Upon checking the trichomes, about 65% are milky, 30% amber, and 5% still clear — exactly where I want them for the effects I'm aiming for. Super excited to see the final results after the dry and cure💚

Welcome to the beginning of week 7 for Karen. Thank you for stopping by! I'm counting this as the first week of flowering but she's been sending out pistils for two weeks, so I guess that weeks four and five should have been flowering weeks. Sorry about that. Surprised to be here but excited to see the next few weeks. Day 44: This girl is amazing. She took the horrendous start I gave her for the first three weeks, and just exploded. Look at her now! If you are really interested, now look at Misty and Nesia - imagine what they could do! I am really pleased with Karen here, I think she has more surprises in store. I am very glad I decided to LST or she would be towering above everything else in the tent. I have noted early Mg deficiency, as more advanced on Nesia. Correcting with foliar and re-addition of CalMag to feed. Day 44.5: Fertigated approx 1.5l. Defoliated approx 10 leaves. Slightly adjusted LST. Day 46: Fertigated 2l. Karen is very thirsty. Her roots have breached the side walls at the bottom of the pot in 360 degrees... this is the biggest root system I've had on any potted plant to date. She is stretching fast now, I think by the end of next week she will be done stretching. I must get a photo of her stem. The base is ridiculously thick. Overall Karen is shockingly good compared to expectations from the poor start. I can only imagine how big she would be. She is currently 27cm tall and at least 50cm in diameter. I count at least a dozen colas. Day 47. She is now 29cm tall and pistils are bursting forth at a phrenetic pace. I have added a comparison shot of my grow space for size reference. Day 47.5: Defoliated approx 30 fan leaves. Slightly adjusted LST. Rearranged tent and cleaned floor. I have ordered some risers to raise the pots off the floor, this will make it easier to deal with run off. While I was inspecting Karen I had a good look at her roots. The fabric pot she is in has viewing flaps (they were designed for potatoes) and I had a look... every bit of the pot is full of roots, and they're all properly pruned. I see no circulation or binding. If Karen produces at anywhere near the rate she is supposed to then she might yield as much as 150g. Day 48.5: Rapid changes. Pistils everywhere, more stretching. Karen is very thirsty. Fertigated. Added pot risers and adjusted pot. Did a little LST to separate some bunched colas a bit. Had a really good inspect of the root system. Wow this plant is a beast. Day 48.75: Fertigated 3l Day 49: Height 34cm Diameter: 60cm. End of week summary. Really big week, she is stretching quicker and quicker. Today she has developed a striking scent. I will now have to keep the tent closed so temps will rise. Day 49.5: Removed about 10 fan leaves. On reflection back over this week I think I needed to be taking a top and side photo, so I shall do that from next week.

The ol lucky 13 is hanging in there. Doing her thing. She is smaller than the FBTO1 but looking healthy. She is starting to show signs of transitioning to flower. Hope to see a little stretch on her over the next week. I have been plucking some leaves from the top to get light to as many buds as possible. Also cleaned up a few lower branches that were never going to make it to the top. Going to keep plucking a few here and there as she stretches. I totally neglected their water running it 2 weeks without checking it, but I kept an eye on the leaves and there were no issues. I gave them a flush and fresh nutrients today. Started them on a little maxibloom. Will probably start some liquid Koolbloom next week. She is under a galaxyhydro 140 watt but there is 1000 watts total led running in the room so she is getting some extra light from those.
