Day 15 of 12/12 light cycle. Removed excess fan leaves at the end of the second week of flower to allow for more light penetration, she’s showing no signs of stress and maintains extreme health. Smell has begun to develop into a sweet fruity smell and trichome production has begun. Day 16 of 12/12. Noticed new fan leaves darkening and slight browning spots on older fan leaves so have treated with calcium. Plant has lightened in colour since last feed.

This week I have reduced root juice by half and by the end of this week may introduce fish mix and biogrow on very small dose but all will depend how girls will be developing in coming days. 9/10: Coming along nicely...the big Amnesiac is the biggest seedling in the garden. 9/11: I waited to long to transplant them and they have root problems to some degree or another...too wet for too long. I transplanted all but the smaller Amnesiac and Lemon Cream Kush into 3 gallon pots, and those two went into 2.30 gallon pots. About 50% brownish roots on all but the smaller ones. 😕 I powdered the planting holes with myco, tricho, and other goodness. I added two Mars Hydro 150w lights, and a 60w 6500k LED panel light since they are all spread out now. The average CCT is still a little over 4800k, even though the Mars are a little warmer color temp than the Viparspectras. 9/12: Between the root problems and the transplant, they looked horrible, so I sprayed them with BoomBoom Spray today and will do a good root drench tomorrow with BushDoctor Boomerang. They looked better by the end of day, but still have a ways to go to get back on track. 9/17: I fed them boomerang only twice this week, and also fed them kangaroots yesterday. They are all looking strong, and branching well. The big Amnesiac is impressive. Great structure and amazing vigor. The LCK is finally starting to look like she belongs in the same crop. I'll prolly flip to 13/11 with emerson effect in the next couple of days.

Week 6 of flower, the buds are fattening up and triching out. The terps are super sweet and very potent smelling. I haven't seen very many nanners or balls lately, but I have seen them popping through the buds occasionally. I still inspect daily, but some days I don't find any, so I hope it won't give me too many seeds. I did notice that the bud that gets the most intense light has started having tips pointed upwards and flipping its leaves. I attributed this to heat stress, so I moved that light over bit. Day 38 update: this last week I was only watering with distilled water and the yellowing has progressed, so I assume I was right about the nitrogen deficiency noted a couple weeks back. Today I top-fed with a homemade fast acting high nitrogen organic fertilizer, we will see if this helps. Also nothing in my current flowering feeding regime has a lot of nitrogen, so I think this will likely solve the problems. I have also decided to give them an extra 15 minutes darkness for a total of 13.25 hours darkness, 7.5 minutes extra on each end, tell them its almost time to finish with ~4 weeks left. Day 40 update: still been pulling herm balls and nanners off the big one, the others seem to have stopped, but i still check them daily. Gonna be slightly seeded for sure, but I hope not too much. Also, the yellowing seems to have been managed after that nitrogen feed.

Another good week! Calcium deficiency is proving hard to defeat. No noticeable slowing of growth or anything negative. Buds are stacking on nicely and starting to frost up!

Added a top layer of soil with added nutes so that only needed to water normally and let the top mix do the work down below. Will mix in more compost tea every other day and towards the end of the week, hit it with my normal organic nutes mix. The plant is looking healthy and continues to flower out and each cola is starting to thicken nicely. I have a few leaves here and there showing some discoloration so will watch closely to ensure I don’t have a light or nute issue. Will move the light intensity to 80% on the LED panels after this next week and as long as the leaves still look good. The grow room is fairly warm (80F) and rH is high (75 – 80rH) but my CO2 levels are fairly high as well so the plants should be fine. Running 2 x HO Solarcure UVBs for 2 hours about an hour after the LED lights turn on at the beginning of the 12 hour set and for 2 hours about an hour before the LEDs turn off at the end of the set. Plant #1 – Really starting to get colorful, very purple and frosty. Sorry for all of the bud shots but can’t help it! Super excited to see how she starts to fill out.
