it's always a pleasure to do business with Barney's Farm!!! They have never let me down even once!! Even in the worst situations and conditions they have always been able to bring out the best for me!! I really enjoyed forcing these plants to see their reactions, but I wouldn't do it again as a technique because it only serves to keep the canopy low but not to increase the yields...or...at least in my case I didn't find it of fundamental importance....maybe a simple cut of the apical top and that was it! but that's fine 😉

So this week I've added some co2 bags too help with the temperature raise here in my country and I've been told that not only too plants use co2 too grow but it also gives them the ability too withstand higher temps , I have been told by a grower that with co2 bags the plants can withstand temps of 35c with no ill effects on the plants so they have been placed Infront of the air intake pipes ,

Die Woche verging wie im Fluge. Purple Punch Auto glitzert in den Morgenstunden wunderschön und verströmt einen sehr angenehmen Duft. Momentan duftet diese hier von unseren vier Pflänzchen am stärksten. Die Blüten schwellen nach einem krassen Stretch an. Das intensive LST und das Entfernen störender Blätter hat dazu geführt, dass die Blüten sehr gleichmäßig Sonnenlicht bekommen und später in der Blüte die Luft gut zirkulieren kann. Zwei Tage der Woche standen die Pflanzen unter der Markise, es hat über Stunden heftig geregnet. Nachdem ich meine Grashüpfer letzte Woche umgesiedelt habe, der Fraß ging mir zu weit, sehen die nachwachsenden Pistillen wieder gut aus. Vorher wurden die von den Hüpfern gerne angeknabbert. Das Gießen läuft wie gewohnt nach Gefühl. An heißen Sonnentagen bis zu 1,5 Liter. Soweit die News von unserem Balkon, die nächsten Wochen werden vergehen und dann ist die erste Saison als Weed Gärtner auch schon wieder beendet.

Day 71. Still a bit left till first will fall. Think next Wednesday is chop day for best Purple Punch, other is thin and way behind. Smallest Mimosa will fall too, one of biggest Mimosas started to foxtail a bit and it worries me, other is still packing flowers .... Main thing for at least last few waterings my pH pen was way off. I noticed that have to add pH down more than usually for plain water. After calibration I checked - it's was 5.7 , not my 6.3 ... Think it went for a week or so, so many damaged leaves, especially on second wavers and younger plants .... Not best thing, but that's one of mistakes can happen. No more feed for those from now, maybe only biggest Mimosas will get some . Smoothie's are like two weeks till chop, but all 3 will mature at same time. Happy Growing !!!

Defoliated a few leaves but nothing major . The smell is starting to get strong funky and like orange juice (very different smelling from other orange smelling strains ive grown , trichomes are forming and the plant is sticky to touch ! One plant has very few stigmas a trait I've only seen one before after crossing kalimist x super lemon haze . Anyone know why it happens ? I can't find much online regarding it . Anyway I'm into week 5 now see you at the end of it

Took a while to get there but OMG little note quick! So I started her in a 1 litre pot and stuck her on top of a 1.5L Pepsi bottle with the top chopped off! And she yielded heavily for that amount of soil a whopping! 224.63 wet weight so can’t wait to see what she holds dry because them buds were like boulders! So dense! I will be back to document her dry weight and then a couple of weeks later with the update on the smoke report! But I know it’s going to be so loud! She has deep pungent aromas like gassy and sweet! She’s going to be a powerhouse! She was a little over as today a banana developed but that just tells me “well done” timing just right! She’s a little long for my taste of auto but I do suggest anyone grow her she’s amazing! In the end!

didn't know what to expect since its my first grow but I ended up doin a 5 day flush with 5 days of 24 hour light. Dr Bruce Bugbee was discussing whether 48hr of darkness helped, and made the case that having the light would more beneficial for terpene production. Dry time was 21 days with the humidity at 60

This week on the chem dog hs amazing putting on so much weight! The buds have swelled like no bussiness this week! Only been doing straight water for little over a week trying to let her know its time to finish up. Put on alot of color looks like the nodes are just so swollen that they gana pop. Of a tric shot on friday shows they are about 10 % amber on very top buds lower buds r further along. Smell is so strong like a desil lemon possibly. Still dont know where to take the smell will prolly after dry ir cure!!! Sooo

* ********* Week 11 - June 20 to 26, 2020 - Days 71 to 77 from germination *********** * It is the end of flush week and she went into darkness on Wednesday night, day 75, for two days. Saturday will be harvest day and start and the dry process👍 She has certainly been going through the beautiful stage of senescence and her fade is gorgeous. The purples and yellows coming out are great......covers up the brown spots😂😂 Her buds are densing this week as we work on bring down the humidity. Running in the mid 60’s for humidity late in flower is a different experience and one that takes some getting used to. Bring down further to low 50’s has really helped to bring out her frost as well. Kept the humidity high to form big buds......now lowering to make them more sticky👍👍 I am feeling very strongly that the big part of the pH issues this run was a change in feed water. I have always used bottled RO water for all my grows, except outdoors, but this grow I switched to tap water. Dechlorinated the water with air stone and gave it 24 hours min before using. Wanted to save some money and tired of lugging bottles downstairs a couple of times a week☹️ This is worked out nicely and a lot more convenient. However, the city must be putting some crap in the water that is causing issues in my media and raises the pH after the watering. Out of the tap it is 8.4pH and 275ppm. Since ppm were not too bad in my opinion I moved forward without filtering the water.......oops🤬🤬🤬 Out of options on what is causing the issue, I switched back to RO water late last week........all the girls are happier!!!! F......missed the cause for weeks. Always learning from this plant and my own mistakes to get better every run😉👍 Also wanted to add a little more stress to girl to help push out some increased resin. I drilled a 5/16” hole into the main stem to cause her stress. I did this rather than trying to break a branch and will see how it goes this run. Sterilized a new bit in Alcohol and went for it. They went into darkness about a couple of hours later. Excited to see what happens when she comes out to get chopped😃😃 Little more detail...... June 20/20 - Day 71 - Rezin and Liquid Weight @ 2ml/L = 285ppm and 4.0ph - 8L given to get a good flush - Runoff in pots already were 7.8pH and 485ppm. - after 8L water runoff was 7.0pH and 370ppm. - she is 29” tall and 30” wide. - tricombs still mainly cloudy.....review again in couple of days. June 21/20 - Day 72 - Dry out day - buds are firming up......squeezed a couple🧐 - temps are nice outside so tent able to hold 75 degrees and 51% humidity. June 22/20 - Day 73 - Rezin @ 1ml/L = 120ppm and pH the water to 2.7!!!!!!!!! - Given 2L watering. - No runoff water and I am good with that as I want the low pH water to stay in the medium. - She will be ready soon. Thinking darkness on Wednesday and harvest on Saturday?? June 23/20 - Day 74 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 2.4!!!!!! - not excited about these crazy low pH numbers but doing what we can - her tops are getting really pointy now and her leaves are very yellow. - checking tricombs, I think we are done and tomorrow will be her last day so that I can take down on Saturday. June 24/20 - Day 75 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 3.0 - Going into darkness tonight so this was her last bit of moisture. - drilled a hole into the stem.....was going to do a couple of holes but not trying this method before I decided to leave it with one hole. - into darkness tonight So we finish up the week with her in the dark. The plants stopped growing in height and are now in FULL FLOWERING mode. Every day more and more flower clusters appear and start to build colas at the sidebranches now. The trichome production is also in full swing, the plants get stickier every day and smell DELICIOUS. The Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants have a sweet sandelwood-smell like the AK-47 but also with peach undertones from the Barbara Bud in it. I LOVE THE AROMA!

Easy to grow. Started out pretty rough due to my PH being way to low and honestly plants were underfed being in coco now seems the plants want food sooner then they did in soil. So around day 5 start slowly introducing Megacrop to them. Other then easy to grow fun as fuck smells so good. The yield im really happy with i was only expecting 3 zips tbh. The buds smell so good right out the herbsnow dryer and lightly trimmed and placed into jars for the curing process. I am beyind happy considering the timing and everything. Will be a lovely 420 treat. Thank you to everyone who watched me grow this one :).

Another good week come and gone. A couple of the girls needed nutrients so I add some general hydroponics blend into those that needed them. Didn't seem to make much difference yet. But they are getting into late flower. Orange sherbet isnt great right now. No real smell and not looking great. Not sure but prolly too small of a pot. Graduated, and am off from work for a few weeks, so went overboard on photos. Plant is doing well, leaves are starting to turn yellow (strain trait). Can't wait for the harvest and being able legally gift my xmas ornaments to my cousins during our "cousins walk" at our family xmas party.

4 week done now and progression feels to be paying off. I found a way to get a consistent pH that works for me and by the end of the week the girls started to really start to grow and move. LST almost everyday but most of the time I like to wait a couple days. But the plants at moving quicker. Up the ppm to 400 + and top soil with a giant mix of things which will run it course for the next 2 weeks or more depending on how I want to handle it. Week 5 looks promising. Hoping for some prominent stretching and some extra foliage. This time I ran 6.2 pH but next time will get a perfect run with 6.4-6.5 pH to really have them drinking. Started introducing more air in the room to enhance the co2 more as well. The circulation was good already but, always nice to have an abundance of c02

Definitely would’ve been better had I not moved but nonetheless it was a great run overall, super frosty and sticky with not very dense buds which made for a difficult trim but I didn’t mind.
