This week has been a tough week as my son got into a bad accident so I wasn’t able to be home with the plants. I was away in the hospital for five days. I must say the one time I wasn’t home the system failed me by not draining after one of the feeding. In which caused my plants to get a little bit of a deficiency and bite burn as well. So I was very disappointed in that. Other then that they kept growing at light speed and the topped one is like oooooo watch me watch me and just showing off lol 😆! I don’t have many pictures from my phone only from my camera in the tent. So not the best quality but it’s something right? I am happy and suprised! I wanted to grow some BonChies years before, no it is a cannabis strain,why not! My second Cannabonsai is history now, smells fresh and a little bit like beer haha. Iv started my 9 beans out in jiffy pallets on the 29th of march so we are 2 days in and they are already starting to pop out! I have 1 of each making way through the top layer of Coco in the pallet.

Our friends at Zamnesia are frenetically active in the search for innovation for their growers and here we have a strain that brings us a citrus that reminds us so much of my homeland Italy but also of the one that is hosting me Spain both great growers of mandarins and therefore Tangerine Dream. If you only look at them a week ago it seems unbelievable, but when the plants start, they go. In this diary you will find the plant that we will let grow straight, applying only a few techniques that do not involve cutting to preserve its characteristics of speed. After taking the first fertilizers the plant is really doing very very well at a great pace and we expect great things the internodes are going up very well and we are practically almost in pre-flowering. The other one you can find in the next diary worked with Topping / Main Lining / Main Folding. The comparison is the salt of the experience. We have started the Plagron fertilization program, we are in 100% organic configuration, the soil is recycled Promix + 1/3 fresh soil + 10% Perlite + RQS Mycorrhiza Mix (4gr in the mix, 1 gr under the small fiber pot). We are administering // 1 ml/l of Power Roots - 1 ml/l of Pure Zym - 1 ml/l of Sugar Royal - 3 ml/l of Alga Grow I have doubts about the compatibility of Pure Zym with mycorrhizae. Beginning of week.. Both have some gorgeous flowers.. Purples are already coming out on both. Both are flooding with complex aromas.. ETHOS Cookies is doing great.. Mandarin Cookies is gonna make it to harvest, I'm sure.. So excited! Mid week.. I love how they both are giving off nice purples on the calyces already! Both smell so amazing! It makes me tear up with joy! Not sure when I should start flushing! ETHOS says that you count 9 weeks from flip to 12/12.. Not pistils forming.. Cuz you know, you need to factor in the transition time.. 1 - 2 weeks.. Sometimes 3! But I am super excited to harvest these lovely ladies!!! Next day... Ok.. So the runoff issue has gotten worse for the Mandarin Cookies.. Obviously, with all the def. you can see.. At least 3 that I can see right away.. Calcium.. Potassium.. Phosphorous.. Maybe even a slight Magnesium def. in there too.. Kinda hard to pinpoint when there is multiple showing, yet I am feeding PLENTY of all of them.. She should have no issues.. The runoff pH is now coming out at about 4.9 - 5.2, depending on a good or bad day, I guess.. I have just been puttinf it in at 6.3 every time.. Sometimes (alot now) I get a salt build-up between feedings.. I like to feed, water, feed, water.. Now I need to feed, water, water, feed, water, water... It's really bothering the shit outta me lol.. But the ETHOS Cookies is pretty close to peing on point.. Going in: 6.3 pH.. Runoff: 5.8 - 5.7.. Still in a decent range.. No signs of issues on any leaves.. They are both making some gorgeous nugs tho! Stackin calyces and trichomes lile crazy! And now they are really fattening up! I am so ready for this run to be over and let this medium dry out reeeeally good.. And take it out back Ol' Yeller style.. Yup.. That sounds like a plan.. I have PLENTY of NEW coco coir bricks and perlite that I have been hoarding.. Just like I do with my genetics 😄.. But I feel like you can never have enough.. And I plan on growing cannabis in coco coir till someone takes me out back Ol' Yeller style! End of week.. They are both showing about 50% turned pistils.. The ETHOS Cookies is a little further along.. Not by much.. But the trichomes on the Mandarin Cookies seem a little further along.. Word.. They are both going to be epic smokes for sure! So I believe I will just give both of them small feedings just to get them through the week, then I should be good to start flushing.. On to the next week!...

The autumn ist getting visible. The Glookies is changing colors. The Lemon Og Candy getting yellow a bit. But seems good so far. Watered around 10l for the Lemon and around 4l for the Glookies this week.

No4 (feeded wit biobizz) causes a lot of problems and needs a lot of attention...started with Ca deficiency...after this came toxicity of nitrogen and now some Mg deficiency...but the grow is very good. Same strain in Pot No2 in super living soil is doing good...grows a little slower but I have zero work and zero problems there. So far I would prefer living soil in the future. But let see what happens for the rest of the grow. Increasing light to 650-700 micromol/m2/s in week 5 (for No2, No3 and No4) was a bad idea...decreased to 500-550 now the vitality is coming back

Cracked a few stems, twisting them 2, 3 points in the main stem and once on each lateral stem, very early monstercropping, cracked the stem without rupturing xylem or phloem channels, minimal recovery, maximum stress and response. There is a new need for significant reinforcement. I know this knuckle will eventually require the throughput of a superhighway. No point in dilly-dallying. Growth grinds to a halt, at least it feels like that. Energy is now distributed fairly evenly to each stem at equal heights and equal light intensity. Growth is not slower; there is just far, far more to do all at once in equal measure, start raising her soil EC up to 1.0mS/cm and maintaining. Upped to 40DLI for now. Temps back in the daytime 87+ range. NPK Raw Grow to keep the soil water solution at 1.0ms/cm, thereabouts. Enzymes and amino acids are applied foliarly to the underside of leaves each night 🌙. Aim to coat the undersides of the leaves where the majority of the stomata are located. Use a spray with smaller droplets to increase the surface area of the leaves that are covered. Adding a surfactant to the mix can help the spray spread better on the leaf surface, improving absorption. Just remember not to add anything immobile.. Heat denatures enzymes. "blah blah what's the point? It's hardly going to do much." Plants have a surprisingly low photosynthetic efficiency, typically converting only 1% to 2% of the total solar energy that hits them into chemical energy. (Too much defoliation and high VPD all night). In fully optimized conditions, that rises to 6%-8% efficiency. Plants may use approximately 25% of their respiratory energy (50% of total respiration) for enzyme turnover, which includes production and repair, but the exact energy cost for heat damage repair is not specific, as the total respiratory energy is not definitively given for plants. Plants generally have a high protein turnover rate, with enzymes making up a substantial portion of this turnover. 10% total ATP is photosynthetically processed. 90% total ATP is processed during cellular respiration. 25% -50% total respiratory energetic output is spent on enzyme turnover (Ballpark). Sounds like it's worthwhile to me. The longer you have waited, the harder you must swing.

Nothing new this week. She's still growing steadily and the nutes seem to be doing a good job so far. I'm using the Dual Fuel with a bit of Growth Solution to raise the EC to follow the Green Plant Nutes program and it feels like it's right so I'm keeping like that. The light is set to 100% as the plants are healthy and the weather is getting a bit too cold. I upgraded my second inlet fan from a generic 150mm ball bearing fan to a 125mm Phresh Hyper Fan V2 w/ speed control. Now my tent is so much quiet with both Hyper Fans V2 working on blowing fresh air in and out. Maybe I get a Phresh Hyperfan V2 Climate Controller to manage them automatically next upgrade.

She seems to be slowing down in growth but starting to notice little white hairs growing so at least shes starting to flower. Idk how much longer it’ll be but hopefully soon lol
