The data shows that the number of terpenes in dried Cannabis flowers increases with a “No Red” light treatment for the final three days of production. Based upon these findings, we feel confident in recommending a spectrum control program that eliminates red light output from fixtures for the final 72 hours of the Cannabis flowering cycle. Terpenes are aromatic compounds that give cannabis some of its most distinct aromas from citrus and berry, to more earthy tones. Many species of plants produce and emit terpenes in a diurnal, or daily cycle that is regulated by a complex web of signaling. There are also many plants that emit terpenes at night to attract nocturnal pollinators (Marinho et al., 2014346). Regardless of when the terpenes are produced or emitted, these processes are often dependent upon cues derived from natural light/dark cycles via a native circadian clock (Dudareva et al., 2004). Several light-sensitive pigments are involved in these processes of production and emission, and the different photoreceptors are dependent upon different wavelengths of light to be activated or deactivated. Emission of terpenes is a process that is entirely dependent upon phytochromes and red/far-red light cues in most plant species (Flores and Doskey, 2015). Started the week out top dressing the plant with 1tbs of 4-4-4 and 2tbs of 2-8-4 and watered with 6oz to set soil. The next day I fed the soil with 2ml of Microbial Mass in 1L of water, and started low stress training the first node. Watering when dry and adjusting LST ties daily on first and second node. Plant is starting to flower on day 25! Looking good so far 😁

Todo sigue su curso. Las niñas han recibido su primera comida con una EC de 1, parece que les han gustado. Esta tercera vez es la vez que menos me han estirado en la primera semana de floración, seguramente estiren más en la siguiente. La estructura me gusta, se ven fuertes. La temperatura está siendo más alta desde que cambié la lámpara, está al ser el doble de potente, también da más calor, cuando haga más frío me vendrá bien. Aún la tengo configurada al 80% que equivale a 176w, a partir de la tercera la pondré a tope de potencia. La semana que viene seguramente de su primera comida de floración y a ver cómo siguen evolucionando 💪

been a slow week i think. had a problem with my power going out for 8-9 hours sunday (rcd tripped) before i opened the tent to 98% rh and water covering the leaves but turned all my fans up and it dried quick so all is good now UPDATE: done some defoliation to get more light through, lets see how that goes

I think they are ready. I’ve just given her one last watering. Will wait for the soil to dry out now over the next two days and then put her in complete darkness for 32 hours then I will be trimming her down. Thanks a lot guys for the people who have kept on top of this diary. Peace

Day 64 to 70 On autopilot. I have been light on the nutrients so bumped up the nutes to 810ppm this week. Forbidden Runtz 1 is coming close, the buds are getting THICC and hard. I'm keeping a close eye on the trichomes. It's almost go time. I predict 2-3 more weeks for the rest but I don't know anything Feeding around 750ppm this week. Lightening up on Nutes for FR1 at ~350ppm.

Day 111, 9 weeks flowering is passed. Currently a nice fade going on. Pistils and trichomes are not really close to ripe, but I'm gonna cut her within the next week anyway because I need the tent. Lighting hasn't been perfect, since this girl stretched like a weed, while my Harlequin didn't. Gonna be smarter on the next try :) nevertheless, she oozes of brilliant smell and taste.

Transplanted ( for the experience) but this one was smoother than the first one I did 5 minutes before ( banana cream sundae ) but everything’s is ok and I transplanting into a 5 gallon fabric pot with 30% fox farm ocean forest and 70% fox farm cream of the crop 50/50 mix so I can prevent overwatering on my end.

Currently sitting at day 38 of flower. Forbidden Soda- Looks incredible, buds are a pinkish purple. Smell is a fruity tangerine Forbidden Dream pheno #1 - this pheno is the beat smelling and looking, started turning purple from the onset of flower, the smell is like grape soda mixed with sour patch kids. Forbidden Dream kush pheno: this was the pheno that I though hermied, it’s not possible that they were just calyxs building on the top buds. They never got bigger, didn’t release pollen, and some now have pistils thru them, but will see once harvest time. Very impressed with the forbidden Dream strain, as for the forbidden soda while it does look incredible , this was selected from 3 different 12/12 seeds where the other two were not good. The forbidden dream seems to have better phenotypes overall and buds are a lot denser..
