My plant now smells even more intense every day. I am very happy to use an activated carbon filter, so you smell absolutely nothing outside the tent. I have now started to hang a camera in the tent and am experimenting with different durations for a timelapse recording. Currently I take a picture every 30 minutes, but will go up to one every hour.

This week the plants went through a lot of training. First, at the beginning of the week, the humidifier was taken out, the light was set to 4, and I applied worm castings to reduce the Ph level. Then two older plants got topped, and applied LST on the main branches. I rolled the main branches between my fingers to soften the branches until they are limp. Then tied down the tallest branch. Then, the rest of the plants got topped. By the end of the week, ALL of the plants were topped at the fifth node and trimmed under growth, up to the third node. This prepares them for top bud production and sets the plants into healing mode. Which will increase yield and terpene production. Note: the baby Lemmosa plants are very healthy and vibrant and young enough to withstand the HST!

I’m glad I started the diary with my first grow. It’s 2020 & this grow had all sorts of stresses and trauma but can out nicely. I’m forgetful & keeping track of the details helped tremendously; especially when everything has been so chaotic in the world & also in my garden. All’s well that end well...

Day 69 (March 6th) Just gave everyone their last watering. I’m going to harvest and wash everything tomorrow night on day 70. I‘m not going to do that whole 48 hours of darkness thing because I didn’t see a difference last time I did it. In fact, it made my plant under watered before drying which caused it to dry too fast. Slurricane and cheese will be washed with h2o2 and the rest will just be rinsed off in warm RO water and hung up. Before and after washing I’m going to go over each branch with a flashlight and make sure there is no dog hair or debris in or on the buds. I will be drying in my spare bathroom (that no one uses!) from hangers. Aiming to keep it around 60-62F and 50-60 RH. Hoping for that 10-12 day dry. I wanted to do a full plant hang but the tent got pretty dirty and I would feel more comfortable just cutting and rinsing everything off branch by branch. I’m going to try my best to keep the full plant intact. Got my humidifier hooked up and running RO water because with tap water it deposits calcium and lime all over the buds and walls. For air flow I’m just indirectly running a small usb fan. I’m not worried about air flow in the bathroom honestly. It stays nice and breezy down there anyway. Got the food grade peroxide and RO water to wash up the slurricane and cheese. Everything except for the cheese and garlic#1 is looking more than done. Trichomes all look pretty well done. Some of them have even burst open. Smells are all super ripe and mature too. Can’t wait to smell each individually in jars. Next week I will recap what went wrong and what I will do differently next time to keep it from happening again. (Day 70F) Just got everything chopped, washed and hanging. The vast majority of the PM was washed out but I can still see very small amounts. When they dry out I can shake the branches a bit to get the rest off. At very least it’s sterile now. There is no question I lost some potency while washing but the amount is negligible for a much cleaner product. I could see lots of dirt and other debris float to the surface of the water after being washed. And no those are not trichomes, those sink to the bottom. I could put that nasty water through a bubble bag and wouldn’t get all that much. Although it probably does remove a lot of the actual trichomes heads. I’ll have to check with the microscope. Everything is rigged up for a nice slow dry. Temp is sitting at 64 and RH is at a nice 60%.

Potted up yesterday and a little lst, this will probably be the last time I run the strawberry lemonade cuttings and hoping to find a decent pheno from the orange punch to keep for at least another run or two.

To be quite honest considering I have planted early and haven’t provided any food or nutrients the smell is incredible and there starting to flower nicely. All in all happy with this experiment just the Spanish sun and water.

Week 7 – Lemon OG in full swing 🍋🔥 We’ve entered week 7 and things are moving strong! Buds are stacking up nicely and getting chunkier by the day. Pistils are bright and reaching, trichomes are beginning to pop – this run smells like success already. There’s one girl in the back-middle acting a bit dramatic – some light potassium-related signs showing up. Could be linked to CalMag interactions, but nothing alarming. Keeping an eye on her, but overall everyone looks green and thriving. I’m seeing a healthy nitrogen fade on some leaves – exactly what I want at this stage. Lights are cranked to full power (480W total) and the girls are taking it like champs. Not a single sign of stress – just hungry green machines turning photons into fat nuggets. Climate’s locked in nicely too. Days 15 to 17, varying by plant: My journey of experimentation, aiming to refine and perfect my cannabis cultivation methods, continues. This venture’s ultimate objective is to position myself as a preeminent cannabis cultivator in my locale. As I navigate through the labyrinth of regulatory licensing, I’m conducting a trial run with my seedlings under continuous lighting conditions and a minimal nutrient regime. My primary goal during this phase is to identify any potential hiccups that could hinder the growth process and ultimately impact the productivity of my intended commercial operation. As I delve deeper into this exploratory phase, I draw invaluable insights from the thriving cannabis community, whose collective wisdom informs my decision-making process. Given my geographical location and available resources, I’ve opted for a strategic shift in my cultivation strategy. Previously, I’ve been procuring seeds at an average cost of $10 to $22 per seed, with a relatively broad success rate variance, ranging from 70% to 85%. However, an alternative presents itself in the form of local cultivators. These businesses offer cannabis plants aged between 2 to 4 weeks, boasting an impressive variety of over 100 strains. These juvenile plants are offered at a cost-effective rate: an average of $100 for eight plants. With a success rate hovering between 70% and 95%, these plants offer excellent value. Essentially, I can access pre-grown plants at a substantial discount, in turn significantly boosting my chances of success. Consequently, I am poised to transition away from growing cannabis from seeds to harvesting. By sourcing my plants from local cultivators, I stand to significantly reduce overhead and production time—an undeniably smart move from a business standpoint. This strategic pivot signifies the end of an era and the exciting beginning of a more efficient and cost-effective chapter in my cannabis cultivation journey. I am currently outlining a plan to expand my cultivation by acquiring several juvenile plants, which should be happening between July 1st and 3rd. The new additions to my garden will include Acapulco Gold, Gelato, White Truffle, and Runtz. These will be cultivated in harmony with the existing growth, which comprises God’s Gift, Northern Lights, and the final surviving F1 Epsilon. My primary objective is to establish the most efficient and cost-effective supply chain possible. I aim to achieve this through the use of an off-grid system that runs solely on solar power, which will ensure complete sustainability and renewability. From a business standpoint, this approach is advantageous as it allows me to leverage the growth of high-quality plants that are already in the cultivation phase. The new plants are expected to arrive in about a week. If the growth rate of the currently cultivated plants doesn’t meet expectations, I’ll be incorporating several of the newly arrived plants into the hydroponics systems. This methodical approach aims to ensure an optimal growth rate and the highest possible yield. I also wish to address the cannabis grower community directly. I hope that my decision to skip the seed-to-plant stage does not cause any offense. My intentions are simply focused on maximizing quality and output, while minimizing our carbon footprint. 12 on 12 off light schedule from seed to harvest. Accidental of course. Currently Week 6 flower. All 12 plants under 2 TSW-2000 300W Mars Hydro lamps.

So this week after I gave it under nutrients I apparently gave it too much nitrogen while having a potassium deficiency. Shiney dark leaves, So i fixed that, but some didn't bounce back, and I tried nitrogen. I think they are doing pretty good considering everything I've put them through SO FAR. lol. Nutrients are NPK Raw's total lineup, follow their instructions at first, Fastbuds adjustments as of this week.

For the girl, this week is really very hot... 32°+ :( but these are her last weeks, until full maturity :) the leaves are yellowing more and more every day, until the finish she will only get pure 6.3ph water:) the flowers look fantastic:).
