Hi everyone 😉 End of week five.. Six days ago I transplanted this lovely BLUE GELATO #41 into its final 20l geotextile pot🌱🌲.. It has direct contact with the roots and I have placed some mycorrhises (MICOSAT F) which will have an action in a span of about five weeks.. Always with the aim of trying to get the best from the cultivated strain I created a potting soil that will potentially increase Brix level.. As a base I used light-mix soil of biobizz in most, more than humus and inert material, coconut and zeolite in addition to the perlite already present in the light-mix.. To this base I then added various ingredients of organic origin, but almost nothing from animals.. My recipe includes alfalfa, kelp, calcium carbonate, gypsum, phosphorite, azomite, zeolite leonardite, basalt, krill powder, and neem soil.. I will not be here to list exactly how much I put of one element and how much of another because it is a test for me too and there is everyone who tries for himself, even because the quantities to be used will vary from strain to strain🙂.. I have already made such a recipe once, but being lighter with the ingredients.. Amazing results🤩.. The exposed plants looked like "more natural", I don't think it's a term correct but I don't know how to say otherwise🤔.. Really high quality of flowers, especially as intensity and characteristics of the terpene profile🍋🏵️🍎🍉🍇🍓🍭🍪.. But in words it is difficult to make the idea correctly.. Anyway.. From now until the end I will simply give water, without worrying about correcting even the pH.. The only external additions that I will make will be a little fish emulsion + molasses (fishmix), unsulphured molasses, probably half-flowering banana macerate and maybe I will also make tea, but I will see week by week how to behave.. Added the Monster PK 18/20 to the mix at 0.25ml/L to see how she pumps up over the next few weeks. She already has gotten significantly taller and the bud sites now are more visible with small bits of trichomes starting to show.

Slow week not much growing still not give them their first feed yet going to start next week

D22. We're at the start of the fourth week, and she loves life and looks healthy and vibrant. I prepared some Sprouted Seed Tea (SST) today. I started a few days ago by soaking barley and corn in water with fulvic acid and kelp meal, then letting the seeds rest in a moist towel inside a paper bag. Today, the seeds had sprouted enough, and I put them in a blender with one liter of water and blitzed the hell out of them. The amount of finished tea was sufficient for ten liters of water, so I filled small plastic bags with the leftover tea and put them in the freezer. That way, I can grab a bag whenever without going through the whole sprouting process each time. I gave her one liter of the SST @ pH 6.5, with some humic acid mixed in. She also got a light foliar spray with fulvic acid and horticultural soap as a wetting agent. Increased DLI to 32 and will start LST tomorrow. ------------------------------ D23. She had finally grown up enough to get tied down, so I started LST today. Well, barely, as all I did was lean her over. The branches on the first node are underdeveloped, as they often are due to only having a single-leaf fanleaf to power them. I removed the bottom branch/leaf but kept the top. For now. I'll give it a chance now when it gets more light, but doubtful that I'll keep it. ------------------------------ D25. I'm adjusting and/or adding LST a couple of times per day. The soil is still moist and hasn't required any additional watering. (I plan to fill the bottom reservoir for the first time in a few days.) Other than that, it's smooth sailing. DLI set to 36. ------------------------------ D28. We're at the end of the fourth week and the last week of veg as she is moving into flower. It already looks like she will be a purple phenotype. Statistically, most are, but I was hoping for a green anyway. More LST to spread her out. DLI set to 40. ------------------------------

We have passed three weeks of flowering. I'm very happy with the results so far and considering we have 5 to 6 weeks to go, these buds have the potential to get huge. Started watering more, 4 liters every two days instead of every 3 days. Also after a full 3 weeks of flowering, we started the flowering amendments, 2 cups of worm castings, 1 cup of bonemeal and a cup of Micro life each. Just put that on top of the soil, watered with the Perma tea, to which I added some woodash, just two tablespoons and stirred. To 12 liters of this I added 60 ml of BAC Organic Flower, 20 mils of BAC Calmag and 12 mils of Top Max. They seemed to love it, they payed me back with enormous bud growth in the last week. Because we had a full three weeks of flowering, I started some underside leafpicking and pruning the smallest branches with no chance of growing out. I kept it to a minimum and will gradually do more. The smells of orange and related citrus is amazing. It is a mixture of orange peels, lime, kumquat, grapefruit and those lovely little oranges they put in Earl Grey tea. No nutrients for the next week. Also had some learnings from this grow: 1stly - must adapt a routine feeding schedule/ plan. With a lot more Nitrogen added in veg phase 2ndly - for flowering phase, need to add more of phosphorus and potassium in the feeding plan 3rdly - need to make the bed of soil big so that plant has more space for roots 4thly, - light, light and more light. 5thly - need to research more training methods and improve on them But overall I am happy and I keep learning about the growing process.
