This week was officially the start of the grow season. 6 fem seeds were popped using the paper towel and ziplock method. Stepdad said to hang them on the wall and the tap roots would grow straight down, and they did. Planted after 72 hours germ, 100% popped. Blackhack had a 1" root. Seeds were planted into soiless mix in solo cups with drainage holes. Lights arrived this week from CHYYYYYNA. Two 240w lm301h quantum boards will light up these 6 girls. Im hoping to steal a bit of extra light from the 4x8 beside me Just waiting now

Ok they are in their auto pots with the air domes and soil on 18hrs light schedule. Was a lot of work getting the room setup and few more bits to go but pretty happy with it. Some plants are still adjusting but they will adapt quickly and soon get used to the new environment.

Week 2 —— Wednesday: Day 8 —- Started blues main nutrient feeding. She seem to be loving life at the moment. Getting bigger by the day. Run off:30% Run off ph: 6.1 Run off EC 2.4 I believe the run off ec is so high is because the coco mix I used is pre blended with charge. The reason I think this is today feed was the highest EC I’ve done and that was 1.5 EC. —- Day 9 —- Increased her base nutrients by .5ml/l it added an extra 0.3 ec that yesterday feed, but the sound of the medium Snap crackle and popping it quite relaxing. Is this the zen water at work? Final EC: 1.8 Run Off: 27% Run Off PH: 6.0 Run Off EC: Still way over what it mean to be but it’s going down, I still believe it’s too do with Ecothrive Charge being in the coco already. Blue looking very healthy even tho the high ec run off. —- Day 10 —- Feed: 900ml PH: 5.8 EC: 2.0 Run Off: 275ml Run Off %: 27 NOTES: Looking healthy as usual. —- Day 11 — Feed: 900ml PH: 5.7 EC: 1.8 - Run Off Amount: 220ml %: 24 Ph 6.4 Notes: All is well in the garden this morning. Still trying to bring the run off ph down to 5.8 during veg. Still the ec of the run off is still stupid, read somewhere re top dress on week 4, which I’m not as not using charge. So touchwood it would of sorted itself out. Blue look like she enjoying the feed mind. —- Day 12 —- Just the same as yesterday just bigger. Today going to start to research how to lst etc and to see if can find out what EC charge is at. —- Day 13 — Feed: 1l PH: 5.7 EC: 2.0 Note: Thought today was the best time to start to use my base nutrients at full dose. Not much new to report but starting to enjoy waking up just to see how much she has grow. She has started to lean one side so I have proped her up with a plant label stick. —- Day 14 — Water: 2L PH: 5.8 EC: 2.0 Notes: Seem to be enjoying the nutrients. She looks very healthy. Flip the script to 12/12 waiting on a small tent via amazon to put my MILF in so I do not contaminate the other ladies, clones are hanging in there hope they will be ready to go into flower at 21 days. I just potted up to a 5 gallon fabric pot. They were drinking so much they were dry in 1 1/2 days. gave them a mild feeding and a good watering did not want to give to much trans nuites this week as I just lolly popped and potted up on the same day they look healthy enough to take it but I did not want to over whelm them with the food. so the plan moving forward it to start spraying MILF A in her own tent while the others flower in the big tent then the clones will move in to the tent and flower for 3 weeks all the while spraying MILF A 2 times a day with the CS the hope is by off setting the clones and the mothers by a week the MILF at 4 weeks while have Feminized Polled sacs that will be ready to sprinkle on the clones the other to mothers will flower to completion be chopped and dried and the clones will go until the seeds are mature with in an extra week or two. Hope to get some feedback about nutrition : After 1 plant developed a small brown tip, I started feeding. A total of 116.6 liters of water goes into my system. The feeding schedule says that you should give 4 ml of root juice per liter of water. So: 116.6 x 4 = 466 in total for week 1. So, 466/7 = 66.5 ml per day. Despite this, the differences in root growth per container seem very different. 1 bin was so far behind that I changed them. However, after 1 day a brown mass developed in the roots. The others are still nice and white. Is this already the bereft root rot? I've made some pictures and a video. The first plant in the video was first in the container of the third plant in the video. EC value = 0.6 PH = 6.6 Update 3-5 : After adding more air, problem solved. Need to keep an eye on plant #3. I've put sticks on top of the startblock. 1 stick is plant #1 etc. Plant 3 is behind the rest. Root development also differs from the rest. Instead of a long (about 50 cm) long carrot, they are a few short (10/15 cm). The plant is also significantly smaller than the rest. Can't do much now so, let's hope and see she can catch up.

Had issues with one of my mars 1600, seems some leds are broken or burnt out already and the light has only been used for 8 months. Talking with my supplier to see about switching it out or repair.

Have had a lot of issues with rising ec levels so have been feeding at 3/4 strength of what Cyco reccomends for week 5 of flower. No issues have been apparent with the plant visually, however I will reduce nutrients to half strength for the following week. Buds are developing nicely, a large amount of trichome production over the past week. A few gaps in the node spacing on the colas but I’ll put that down to a far too excessive defoliation at the start of flower. Smell is extremely strong, my carbon filter can’t filter all of it out so half of my house smells of musty candied fruits.

Therefore, today I also gave root and vegetative growth stimulants, as well as basic nutrition and set the room to air. I also removed the first pair of unproductive leaves and lateral branches growing from them, since as a rule they are unproductive and slow down the growth of the plant, releasing some of the growth hormones and nutrients. I'm in southern Ontario. Spring is in the air! Humidity levels have risen with rainfall, and temperatures are rising outside and inside my tent. I have been leaving my tent door open during the day and semi-closed at night. Plants in tent do not yet smell and I have my air intake/carbon filter, by VIVOSUN, turned off. During the day my small clip-on fan circulates. At night I let her rest in the cooler air and turn the fan off. May 2: Watered with a PH of 6.5, always using a bit of vinegar to PH down. Water included a pinky finger tip amount of crushed and stirred eggshells. Shells had been sitting in the water for 1.5 days. Shells did not enter the medium. Just the water they sat in.

April 25, 2020/Day 15: I applied LST/tipped her over today and defoliated one leaf. April 25/Day 16: EEEEEeeee I watered with the wrong container, giving her tap water, fresh out of the tap. Chlorinated and all. :D I chased it with 2 litres of proper 6.5 PH. April 27/Day 17: Defoliated 2 leaves and reapplied LST. She is growing like ground coverage, especially after LST. :D I think it's safe to plant a third seed in my small tent. She looks small. Maybe she will surprise me and start taking off in growth. :) This is the smallest plant I've seen at Day 17. May 1 @1pm/Day 21: Topped her at her highest point May 1 @ 11pm/EOD 21: Defoliated 4 more leaves and applied LST to all of the tops

4/20 Still having trouble getting seeds to grow! 4 out of 6 seeds from the initial pop have died, so I've popped one more Chemdogging and one more Sour Diesel. Placed the popped seeds directly in the pot they'll stay in for the whole grow per suggestions. Built a 30"x36" trellis out of 3/4" PVC pipe, will install a double trellis netting on it once I set up the Blumat watering system. Also added in a smart power strip that now has built-in timers I can control from my phone. Organized all my extra grow equipment and cleaned up the room! The little pots in the photos are some random seeds I'm starting off in here to give to some friends to grow outdoors. 4/25 - sour diesel popped up today! 5/2 Still no luck getting the Chemdogging to sprout, currently waiting on C-dog and a Blackberry auto to sprout in my other two pots. Set up some random plants from seeds I found in a bag of Black Lime and Cookies, put them in a separate room to flower so I can find out if they're female.
