Big week! I got my new EarthBoxes and a bunch of goodies. I picked up the Probiotic Farmer's Alliance kit from BuildASoil, so I also got some EM-1, Kashi Blend, dolomite lime and Malibu compost. Alongside that I picked up Colorado Worm Compost (vermicompost), Gnarley Barley (malted barley, corn and hemp) and Craft Blend (aprox 3-5-2 organic mix). Unfortunately there was a bag of soil missing, so I ended up using my own mix though I am somewhat scared of it being too clay-heavy for the SIP. I inoculated with EM-1 and began fermenting a batch of activated EM-1 to make the bottle last longer. It looks about a week from LST, after that I hope to set up a two-tier SCROG setup and begin growing the bushes. I will begin spraying AEM-1/EM-FPE/EM-5 alternatively once a week for IPM, I will try to avoid using neem this round (unless I find this approach lacking). I also brewed a batch of EM-FPE with aloe that smells incredible, I can't wait to give it a go.

Itty-Bitty is now 15 inches tall, Strain: Royal Dwarf-- so she was not meant to get very big anyways!- VERY happy with the 25-30 buds, she will not grow amy taller, now focusing on fitting up her nuggets. She's the oldest of my 7 strains this run- popped up from soil Oct 3rd 2023. Do not plan on harvest until 2024.

Very exciting as the tops are starting take formation and really become more developed.

Excited to see some growth! Had clean paper towels, a dark dvd case, a nail file and tweezers. The file was just to break the outer shell a little so they suck up water faster. I'm curious if it works!

You can see the nice healthy colour from the Seaweed foliar spray last week, Will keep that up bi weekly until first flower. Another 12 gal of water for each plant this week as there seems to be no end to this drought. Added blood and bone meal to keep the plant going well into the end of august. Good day every one, The flowering is going on just perfect. New branches began to actively gain flowers. For additional stimulation of new flowers, I installed a household extra LED lamp. no problem with the PH at all , no problem with the PPM : thanks to Hesi.

Well post tropical storm Ophilia report. Made it through with only minor damage. Thank goodness! I had to laeve town for a wedding in NC over the weekend and realized i might not be able to get back in time to protect the girls. They did ok. Drinking a lot less water now that it has cooled down. From 4 gals/ day back to 2 gal / day! Ill update with some better pics later, happy growing all!

There hasn’t been much vertical growth—Runtz A now stands at 48 cm, while Runtz B has reached 59 cm. Today, I didn’t do a full defoliation but simply removed a few larger, obstructive fan leaves. The buds are visibly increasing in size, and Runtz B is leading the way with impressive speed. She seems to be about three days ahead in development compared to Runtz A. One of this week’s highlights is the incredibly intense aroma filling the entire tent. The sweet notes remind me of a mix of ripe tropical fruits and berries—absolutely irresistible! Although the two plants have some visual differences, I’m now convinced they share the same phenotype. Everything is going according to plan, and I’m excited to see how the buds continue to develop in the coming weeks. Heute habe ich keine vollständige Entlaubung durchgeführt, sondern lediglich einige größere, störende Blätter entfernt. Die Buds nehmen nun sichtbar an Größe zu, und besonders Runtz B legt ein beeindruckendes Tempo vor. Sie scheint in ihrer Entwicklung etwa drei Tage weiter zu sein als Runtz A. Ein weiteres Highlight dieser Woche ist der unglaublich intensive Duft, der das gesamte Zelt erfüllt. Die süßlichen Noten erinnern an eine Mischung aus reifem tropischen Obst und Beeren, einfach unwiderstehlich! Obwohl sich beide Pflanzen äußerlich unterscheiden, bin ich mittlerweile überzeugt, dass sie denselben Phänotyp besitzen. Growth has been explosive with the strain. Tops coming from everywhere after one topping. I plan on taking a cutting from this particular strain I have a great feeling about this one.

Tomorrow Jan 29 begins week 3 and top'n along with low stress training. Will be customizing a metal net file basket into a scog system for the begining of week 4 as I will be training her for vigorous sideway grow to maximize yield. After topping last week we've just been watching them grow. Bending down the branches to help them spread out. Over this next week I'll start my lst ties to help pull them down and out.
