The two Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants are now 35 and 40 cm tall and have developed nice side-branches, which have grown upwards so they get enough light for good budding sites during flowering. The plants are still fed following the Advanced Nutrients schedule.

Hi guys, At the end of the story, I am very happy with the whole cycle and finally the outcome, since I almost killed everything in there 😂 The Z&Z is a well balanced 60% - 40% Indica - Sativa dominan strain with a short flowering period. I did have problems throughout the cycle overfertilizing the plant. This is on of the strain that did notice more my mistake, can be clearly seen on the final product. Iinfact, a good part of the flowers, went for bubble hash. I topped them, and then practiced LST training to help them growing wider. Probably If I wouldnt have messed up with the ferilizer I would have had a much better final product, this time, talking about quantity and quality. The whole plants were dried for 18 days after which they were finished in jars for another 6 weeks, if I dont fell sooner. Really looking forward to grow this strain again Indoor, I'am amazed by the terpene profile and the amount of resin they've produced, even under my multiple attempt to screw em!! STRONG GENETIC! I would like to thank Grow Diaries for this amazingly-organized community they have created, where we all can learn a lot, and share something we really love. Thanks to everyone who stopped by and looked at the diary, squeezed the like button or comment the diary. 13/12 I'VE MADE MY FIRST RUN OF BUBBLE HASH! Very very happy with the end result, did not weight anything yet because is still wet big time, I lightly squeezed it a bit, before let it drying on parchment on a cardboard. The smell it's just absolutely crazy. I can smell strong citrus notes in the 120µm but the 90µm and 73µm explodes with crazy-sweet note. While the 25µm (did not use the 43µm) where I did collect most of the hash, smell like good and sweet hash, nothing crazy like the previous ones but a very buttery like consistency that makes me want to eat it like this...dont ask me why...even though I know you all probably felt this way too... Anyway, the paper sheet says it all about timing, washes and µm used for the extractions, but just in case I'll explain it down here. I have done 3 wash with different timing. 1º wash: 5 min only to get the most brittle trichome heads 2º wash: 10 min stardard 3º wash: 30 min to stock up a bit 😅 I could have done an extra wash for sure and get more out, but I was running out of time so...I will update with the dry weight, it was not the only wash I've done, that were just too many grades to weight up..so I chose to do it once all dry! I am now 100% positive I know the strains that are growing within my little jungle. I believe I have 4 purple lemonade, 3 Gelato autos, and 1 strawberry banana auto. And Am extremely happy that I could finally identify them all. I've got 1 feminised sour strawberry and 1 the wolf germinating at the moment hoping they take off and I can start my new adventures. Blueberries were really felt in the aroma, but after drying and treatment, the cones acquired the smell of beta-caryophyllene - a very strong smell)) The effect is very relaxing and kills (!), it seems to me that I have delayed the harvest a little, so these bumps are equal to a tranquilizer, in addition, there is also gluttony, as well as a slight euphoria. Ich habe 3.000.000 Nematoden (Steinernema feltiae) auf ca. 2.5L Wasser (ph 6.2) der Erde zugeführt. Die Blätter mit einer Neem- und Rapsölmischung besprüht. Damit die Erde das nicht aufnimmt gibt es weisse Laken für die Patienten.😂 Ich habe keine Ahnung, ob es funktioniert. Mal sehen. Ansonsten gefallen mir meine Babies echt gut.

Outdoors........time passes slowly.... Tropical weather here, this week. Hot morning, evening storms , cooler nights, high humidity, wind. What else? No problems to report, fantastic grow, girls full of life. Lots of work to bend and rearrange plant's shape every day, sometimes twice a day. Defoliation. Plant is responding fantastically. Special Kush #1 is now in the last days of crazy-stretch phase, is a big plant so I had to move the main top forward again to the opposite point of the perimeter in order to lower the line and give light in the middle.

Started removing leaves that were dying. Had to tie one plant down she grew bigger then expected and was getting to close to the light

I did have one issue, the Drain Petcock on the 25g reservoir was broken during shipping. After a phone call to GrowAce, they had a replacement one on its way to me which I received in just a couple of days! I did however make one addition to the system. I placed a pair of air-stones, one in the Reservoir and the other in the Distribution Bucket to really oxygenate the water. I started all my seeds by first soaking them in tap water for 12 hours, then transferred them into pre-moistened (6.3ph) peat pellets. I placed the pellets in half Solo cups in the tent with 24hrs of light under which they sprouted within 48 hours. I kept the tent temperatures between 80-84℉, the RH at 65-70% and made sure that the pellets stayed moist, not wet. 10/3- All of the Tropicana Cookies are looking healthy and have good color and vigor! I'll be moving them into their fabric pots which have already been pre-moistened in the next day or two, or as soon as I see roots emerging from the pellet. 10/5- Today I moved all three Tropicana Cookies into the fabric pots, adding some Xtreme Gardening's Mykos into each hole before placing the peat pellets. I have the HLG 650R set to 15% and hung 30" from the seedlings. Tent temperatures are 80-84℉ with RH running 65-70%. 10/7- Well there's the first week on the books for these three little ladies and they're looking fantastic. Removed bloom from nutes. Last feed on 31st. Plain water twice spaced over 2 days Can't wait to harvest this baby. 1 month is worth the dry n cure!

Yeah one of the 00 kush is coming full purple for the cold she get in the night time. I'm starting to flush the 00 kush and 1 of the Banzai Punch. Red spider is gone, some whiteflies resist but all under control.

Beginning of week 7 in flower, only two more weeks left if they ripen like they did last time. Plants are beginning to smell, develop triches and fattening up. They're not going to get any taller but compared to my first grow they're double in size. It's getting really intense. I'm in there every day checking humidity (on the no defol side) and I'm starting to struggle keeping up with the feed. During lights off I've found the plants eat the most food. I topped up the res, added 25% more PK. I try to keep the plants at 700 ppm and in the space of four hours it dropped to 600 ppm (towards the end of lights off). I stopped directly loading with Calcium Nitrate and instead used a regular calmag. I'm about to go overboard with Calcium Nitrate again and bump the ppm up to 1k. Will see how far the ppm drops the next day. 17/02/20 Update: The plants are beginning to smell a lot more, it has that kind of fermenting pungent smell from a red paw paw but applied to a mango. Very sweet, it literally smells like I'm growing some kind of tropical fruit. Still struggling with the feed, I added close to 40g of calcium nitrate and the plants still dropped the ppm lower than when I boosted it. I find it really frustrating that Dual Fuel only sell as a pair. Part 2 is amazing for late flower. Potassium sulphate and Magnesium sulphate, it's the perfect PK boost and I don't know anyone other nutrient like it. The other PK boosters always have too much P. 18/02/20 Update: Still battling my plants and the efforts to keep up with them is still frustrating me. Ran out of potassium Sulphate and bought Bio Diesel Rhino K 0-0-15 as a substitute, talk about expensive but I was desperate. 19/02/20 Update: Uploaded how I pump calcium into my plants this late into flower. They eat more than what I showed daily. That's 100+ ppm of Ca everyday! I don't know how much pectin this plant has now but the Brix would have to be through the roof compared to my first grow. 20/02/20 Update: finally got the feed right for a twelve hour period. I'm using two times the amount of K any bloom booster recommends and I'm probably using ten times the amount of calcium easily. I'm also going to feed as minimal N from now on, I'd cut it out completely if I could but I rely on Micros for the macro nutrients. Spent $65 on that bottle of potash and I used a third of a bottle for one nutrient change, think I'll stick to using powered water soluble potassium sulfate. My main concern is that I won't be providing enough iron with the little Micro I'm giving it. Going to throw a couple of rustry nails into the res. I'm about to do a top up...dropping the Micro super low, putting minimal part 2 in. Along with all the fulvics, humics, kelp and other acids my ppm only sits at 244. Which gives me plenty of room to load up on calcium. Top up the mag cause what was in the part 2 wasn't enough then load K. 21/02/20 Update: The plants finally stalled and took a breather yesterday. Didn't upload any photos cause it looked the same as the day before. By the end of the evening it looked like the explosive growth started back up again and the photos from today will show it. The ppm was creeping up not down this time...finally over feeding them. Dropped the extra loading of calcium and potassium to regular bloom phase levels and bumped the chelators up instead. Update 22/02/20: plants aren't eating what they were. Ppm is remaining stable at 800. I won't dilute the res just yet. Still holding off to see if it goes up again. If it goes down I'll refeed the same formula as last time that has reduced calcium and potassium.
