Amended soil with 1 cup down to earth bone meal and 1 cup worm castings I fed it one gallon of spring water with general hydroponic nutrient wit one tablespoon of blackstrap mol

A lot of rain and wind, continuously. Temps have dropped as well. I’m reading another week or two to chop this plants. Sativa dominant hybrids did the best, the Fastberry and the banana purple punch did not really develop as the other two. In specifics the cbd crack developed sizable buds, and the blue dream as well, the flowers are not as developed tight and dense as in the indoor grow. A bit of fox-tailing nothing too expressive. Minimal work, as per the setup chosen, an no extra nutes this week.

I guess that’s brand new genetics for you plus that added Zamnripper umph combined force lol I trimmed away the lower leaves off her and she loved it appreciated it and boosted up! Dynomyco is obviously doing it’s thing too helping her get to canopy! And with help of the new light TSW2000 from mars hydro it will be a better outcome! I continue to give her a little spray a few times a day only lightly but it helps with the low humidity! I am in 2 minds with the flip! Like do I wait for this to go 4 weeks at least or just go for it so I’ll decide very soon! As that’s in a few days lol so she’ll be 3.5 weeks! So should be alright!

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Miss WW*NLX was looking very ready to me, heb buds were nice, thick and firm and most of her hair was coloured amber so she had to go. The weight of the entire wet plant was 1,2 kg , I've hung her on my attic for now , will check up on her in about a week, and will post updates about the harvest and weight, etc here Note: just had a dry weigh , it was 175gr without the few buds I took out earlier for test smokes 😅🤭

So far so good :). Cantaloupe haze needed more runoff as leaves were clawing.

So far I harvest the top half of the plant and its 71 grams dry and the next part i harvest is 53 grams wet, @exotic_seeds and their Black Haze is growing great in the apotforpot super soil!!! Its been a super easy grow so for and it all has to do with the genetics and soil, the buds are deep purple and covered in trichs and orange hairs, the smell went down a lot in drying but should come back with the cure. I know some of the pics look out of focus but i purposely picked them if you look you can see why.

Removed a lot of stalks to point the plants energy where I want it. Not a lot more to say -

Hello Diary. The second week of vegetation is over and the Purple Punch has already started to form flowers. Otherwise a pretty quiet week, I had one watering and more or less it was all action on “Farm”. Conditions are more or less good, I would like the humidity to be a bit higher but ok. Purple Punch # 1 that sprouted first reached 23 cm, which is double from the previous week, while Purple Punch # 2 that sprouted a few days later reached 15 cm. The tips of the leaves as well seen in the photos have taken on a bright green-yellow color, I don’t know if it’s from the light or something else? If anyone has an idea why this is happening, feel free to share with me. I didn’t add any nutrients, the soil is still rich in nutrients from Easy Boost Organic Nutrition, Mycorrhiza Mix and substances in the soil. From next week I will start adding BioBizz. With two Purple Punch on the “Farm” there is also one Watermelon Auto that keeps them company. Let’s see how it was this week. 07/02/2021 - Day 12. Watering. I regulated the water with Plagron’s Lemon Kick. In my case the tap water is about 8 p.H. so I lower it to a value between 6.0 and 6.5. I pour water into the bucket the day before to evaporate the existing chlorine from the water. I should have watered more often with less water but now it turned out that way. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25 degrees and 49% humidity. 09/02/2021 - Day 14. Photographing plants, measuring height and analyzing the week.
