We harvested one of the Tropicana XL girls , this is going to be a weird entry because I decided to not make a harvest entry till the other one lady finishes. Unfortunately because of my sticky fingers from all the trimming I did not make many pictures/videos of the grow itsels, to fill this void I decided on including the harvest videos and photographs. Although the final weight will be summed up in the final harvest. From tomorrow on she won't get any Canna Boost anymore, because I'm not the fan of giving it to the end :-) It always looks more beautiful and more beautiful 😍. The week went well, the plants are growing nicely. Everyone has started to develop properly, just a slight calcium deficiency on the Green Poison on the top right, otherwise I intervene as little as possible since everything seems to be going smoothly. Bit of pintch on the top off some on.

Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. 5th Week Of Veg She Is A Beautiful Plant

Hello Diary, White Widow has finished its second week of flowering. The areas around the flowers themselves are lighter, due to the young leaves and the pistils themselves on the flowers, so it is clearly visible where all the flowers are forming. I am happy with how the flowers are developing and I therefore have much more motivation to take photos. White Widow has started to stagnate in growth, this week she has grown 13 cm., the most compared to her roommates on the "Farm". I would say that at this stage White Widow is taking on her final form and will now direct most of her energy into the development of the flowers. The leaves are a healthy dark green color and so far I do not show any signs that the plant is lacking anything. Watering was every three days, I continued to add CalMg and Bio-Bloom Fertilizer. The conditions in the grow box are now much better. The temperature is around 28 degrees and the humidity is below 50%. White Widow is generally progressing great, which I am very happy about. Here is a short overview of the week. 24/08/2024 - Day 31. Watering. I prepared 9 liters of water. I added CalMg 1 ml/liter, Bio-Bloom Fertiliser 1.5 ml/liter and then lowered the p.H. to 6.0. With this amount I watered all three plants evenly. 27/08/2024 - Day 34. Watering. I repeated the same procedure as three days earlier. 28/08/2024 - Day 35. End of the second week of flowering, or the fifth week from the beginning of the vegetation. Photographing and measuring the height of the plants. Hello This is the end of week 9 and the beginning of week 10 of veg. Got my 4 year cancer checkup... got the nose and throat camera.. And the Dr. couldn't find anything wrong. I get 1 more checkup in a year before they can give me a... all clear for cancer. I'm going to beat it... Thanks Rick Simpson... Picked up this magazine a few days ago and just wanted to share the adds and articles. There's a Cheech and Chong interview and story in my Captain Future diary this week if your interested. Everything is going good in here. I've seen some fungus gnats flying around But I've also seen some very small spiders starting webs, and they will grow, and take care of the gnat problem. The plants are just getting rainwater for now. There's is lots of compost in each pot... the roots just have to find it. I'll give some food in a week or two. Going to be turned to flowering by June 1st, so there is still another month of veg to go. OK. Have Fun. Chuck

Thursday this week has been good so far, I pulled each plant out yesterday and tidied everything up. I got rid of all the tiny lateral branches that didn’t make the cut and I got Rid of everything that was below about half way down the plant. Obviously the lateral branches that grew to the same height as the canopy are staying it’s just all the non starter stuff below. I annoyingly had my in take fan die on me. We’ll sort of, it just keeps tripping the fuse on my electric so I assume it’s from when I had my res flood onto the floor - I forgot it was there on the floor because it was hidden behind the res

Plants are growing at a nice pace especially dealing with the extra high PH runoff

I joined Grow diaries late in my growing career... I wish I would have found this site sooner.. Enjoy! I personally enjoy growing mephisto genetics. I was very happy with the toof decay grow and end result. I ended up letting this cure for 2 months. It is number 2 in my book so far for my adventure with Mephisto seeds. Walter white is #1. I grew this in colder conditions through the winter of 2019. Super dense buds loaded trichs, very loud smell, and great appeal! I have more of these seeds so I will do a start to finish eventually. Good little week, showing some signs of a PH swing in the medium will have to adjust the amount of PH down I add into the mix. I have not been monitoring the PH as it always seems to do just fine. But when I did it this time it was hitting 4.0-4.2 so its a big swing. To bad I only did this after the fact with the left overs. Next week will get no PH down. Flipped it to flower at the beginning of the week, doing 12/12 on 40% as I might be away for a bit and if my friend needs to take care of the plants I don't want them working about to much DLI. So its getting under fed in light a bit but that's ok. When I am back I can increase it or just leave it as is. Added in its first dose of Acadie See Weed extract 15ml/gal 0.6-0-6, its recommended dose is 5ml/L so 15ml/1gal is good, also added some more of the Fish Hydrolysate 2-4-0.5 about 7ml/gal, its recommended dose is 30ml/gal every 2-4 weeks so this works out well if I am feeding them weekly. The one THCv plant by GTR is not doing so hot, it has not grown at all and barley drank anything since last week so I am just leaving it alone and hopes it will bounce back. Everything else is getting nice and bushy. All the herbs are doing well, cat nip is growing in nice and bushy with the pinching, same with the basil. The dill and cilantro is getting leggy and likely going to chop them and use them in some cooking. got a fish dish that would be nice, turn em into tacos. Other then that I think that's it. O yea. The nutrients are all fucked up. It shows me some ml/l options but all the labels are gone so no idea whats happening, any questions just ask.
