It's time to start the next growing season, and this round, I am to make my life as difficult as possible by growing five different cultivars in the same tent. I'm sure it will be a struggle to maintain an even canopy, but hey, we improve as growers by facing challenges and (hopefully) overcoming them. Not much to say about the GG#4 at this time, will update in about two weeks with dry weight/flavor/smoke info. Overall I am happy with this strain and how it grew. Update June 19, 95 grams dry bud. Very impressed with the bud size, density, color and stickyness. First smoke impression is hints of fruit and citrus, sweet aroma and flavor. Very mellowing high, just feel like relaxing on the couch with a large pizza lol 😁

73 days!!!! That's how long my project on the northern balcony of the house has been missing, the last two weeks it was very hot about 35°, and now storms are approaching, so I decided not to risk it and harvest :) The whole growth went quite smoothly, there were no difficulties:) The flowers look very full of trichomes :) (I already want to taste it) :D knowing that my girls, received sunlight only for a very limited time around 4-5 am, she ripened really beautiful flowers:) @Plagron nutrients, it was very easy to dose, (that's amazing) next year, I think I will continue my balcony project:) good luck to everyone

If you thought last week the growth was fast, then it literally exploded this week 😎. Despite topping, they went full throttle the next day. Even if you are not yet connected to the network, I today the lamps on 12/12. I suspect that she will loosely sleep the net in stretch. The root growth is still very extreme 😎. I am very excited to see what will happen this week. Greetings to everyone and let grow 💪🏻

The temperatures, humidity, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil. Using 7.6 pH well water creates challenges in keeping iron, nitrogen, and phosphorus available to the plants. This soil is recycled and had a starting pH of 7.3-7.5. I added Diamond Brand Ferrous Sulfate at the above listed rate of 2.5 ml/gallon of soil. I distributed these granules evenly across the top of the soil. Adding this amendment acidifies the soil and provides a readily available and lasting iron supplement during veg. After adding the ferrous sulfate some small particles were splashed onto the leaves by the rain. These particles burnt the leaves and are the dark spots you see in the photos. Those dark spots turned into tears in the leaves as the high winds ripped through them. The girls are showing a little excessive nutrient stress. I believe from the phosphorus in the Coop Poop. I've come to believe it runs higher than the advertised 4%. The higher soil pH exasperates this. As the ferrous sulfate works and these girls grow larger these issues will be solved. Day 1 we had cooler temps, overcast skies, and showers during the morning and night. These continued early morning day 2. Followed by sunshine after noon on day 2. Early morning Day 3 at 2-3 a.m. we had thunderstorms that produced strong winds and very heavy rain for almost two hours. Day 4, despite the 5% rain forecast, we had another thunderstorm producing heavy rain and strong wind followed by rain that evening. Day 5 the plants had a respite. We had lots of sunshine and a lite breeze to dry the soaked soil out. Day 6 we had more sunshine and breezy weather. Day 7 more sunshine and excellent cannabis weather, not too hot and not too cold. I didn't water these this week as the rain was more than enough. These girls are real tuff. The weather during their germination and first two weeks after planting was brutal. The high winds and heavy rain blasted the leaves and soaked the pots. These girls bent but didn't break. They look a little beat up from the weather, pH issues, and nutrients stress. This isn't ideal but in two weeks it will be a faded memory. Fastbuds can handle harsh outdoor conditions, minor user error, and still produce lots of beautiful buds. Follow and see for yourself.

4/5 First day of 12/12 light cycle. Updated solution and looking forward to the stretch. Smell is noticable and branches are getting thicker. 4/7 Had to trim some of the bigger leaves which were blocking lower branches. Switched the Bloom spectrum LEDs on and will keep the White LEDs from veg on for now. 4/9 Heat inside chamber has risen 5 degrees since I turned the bloom LEDs on.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. I am flushing the main lined plant, the thai stick looking one and the big purple this week ! 2 plants just on Overdrive and bloom for 1 more week or 2 then onto the flushing The colours on the leaves of the main line plant almost have a blue and gold tone to them, mad! buds are frosty! Unfortunately the phone I had documenting this grow has been lost for a few months. And, these pics are burning a hole. Here's Lemon Paya/Mandarin 1 pheno each started in 2L hydro pots which were left for a long time. But, before they were flipped. I added them to 20L hydro of the same substrate. They took heavy abuse as I had to break roots for them to start growing out (Hopefully I can backfil the both phenos progress soon) but, as I've a lot of projects. I need to start finishing ones just done. Early on I topped as Here's weeks 12-17 of a 9+ weeks or so flowering period here. Left ripening for a week and then harvest coming onto nearly 9-10 weeks of flowering, (Note harvest has been done) They were to grow in a hydro substrate. Their resistance was really strong and went a few days without feed. I made sure the substrate never dried up too much. But, could of tended more and gotten greater results. All nutrients above when mixed (base Nutrients lower the ph to 6) so rarely I adjusted the feeds (mainly water or calmag feeds). Silica feeds were the only feeds that needed strong PH-. no + ph buffer was used As for feeds I kept the core npk feeds around 4-450 every 2-3 days and followed up the next day with water or Enzyme feeds, etc. Thanks to fastbuds for sending me the prize. Amazing smells omg Both are very different but also similar. One has a much more sweet aroma & one very gasey. Omg they're stinking the whole house.

Direkt zum start der Woche beginnt für die Pflanzen die Blüte Phase. Bis jetzt bin ich zufrieden mit der Sorte die Stecklinge wachsen auch bis jetzt sehr gleichmäßig. Mal gucken wie groß sie in den nächsten 2 bis 3 Wochen werden. Bis der Strech vorbei ist. 👉Update 1: 😓😓😓 Leider hat die rechts hinten mit ein paar Problemen zu kämpfen. Dünger, Licht, PH, EC kann ich aus schließen ich denke das ich den Topf nicht richtig Sauber gemacht habe. Mal gucken wie sich das bei der einen weiter entwickelt.

My plants have been doing well filling out the net a little more I added a second net last week the purple mountain majesty has started showing a bunch of white hairs at but sites also this plant is showing signs of nutrient burn but the other two (Larry lemon and PGC) seem to be in love with the grow dots and I haven’t hands any issues no drooping no discoloration no problems at all I think these grow dots are a good choice so far we’ll see when we flip to flower this week

Hi Growmies, Can’t really see any swelling anymore and therefore started to flush her. PPM‘s are already down to 100 and will change the reservoir two more times during week 12 to try and bring it down to 0, followed by two days of darkness and harvest. This plant is saving my overall yield of this box, as the Mazaar has performed subpar, probably because she was sharing the box. The afghan, however delivered in terms of production, as promised by ganja farmer seeds.

Dear diary, Week 4 almost done, but posting a day in advance as I will need help from the community! Something terrible has happened, and I am not sure what, so let’s jump into it. 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀 ⏰ Day 25: Away from home so the flatmate is feeding them from the premixed bucket. ⏰ Day 26: Back home! As they have doubled in size I am transplanting up from 3liter to 20liter airpots. The 75/25 coco to perlite mix was first run with 1.23ms 5.8ph calmag water followed by 1.33ms 5.8ph nutes before transplanting over. Light was about 305 so also upped it to 320-330ppfd. G.C #2 still is showing the weird marks and deformation, but she is growing quickly so having real issues figuring out if its something else than some genetic oddity. ⏰ Day 27: Feed the girls at 1.36ms and 6.0ph. Today was also the day where the mainlining begins! This was done by topping above the 3rd node, removing any growth below the 3rd and tying them down to start the manfold. Aiming for 8 or 16 tops for each plant depending on how the grow. ⏰ Day 28: Feeding at 1.36ms 5.8ph and adjusted ties. ⏰ Day 29: Checked in on them in the morning before lights off, and something is very wrong. All the older leaves show all kinds of issues like curling, brown and yellow spots, drooping etc. Might just be from the chock of mainlining and the lights being to strong so lowered them to 230ppfd. Later when lights turned on again, their state has not deteriorated during light off, so I’m fairly sure it is light related. But to be sure I also gave the girls 2 liter each of feed to make sure there are no dryspots, 1.36ms 6.0ph. ⏰ Day 30: I was away all day so they were watered by flatmate with 1.35ms 6ph. When I came home later in the night the spots and yellowing is still happening on the older leaves but much slower than before. I also checked runoff and it’s fine at 1.46ms and 6.0ph. ⏰ Day 30: Gave a feeding of 1.46ms 6.3ph in were I increased A and B nutes to 2.5ml/l from 2.0 and calmag to 1.5ml/l from 1.3. Someone suggested that it might be magnesium deficiency so that is why I changed the ratios and increased the EC a bit. Lastly I also gave a foliar spray of calmag water at like 12ml/l at 6.3ph to see if that helps so we can head into a smoother week 5!
