~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2201 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Mars Hydro Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/15- Here we go into the second week of veg for the FastBuds Tester #2201 girl and she's certainly on a roll! When I checked on her today her medium was still moist so I'll let her go and check her tomorrow. Basically at this point in the run all I have to do is make sure her medium doesn't dry out, fill the humidifier and watch her grow! 🤩 12/17- Yesterday I watered her and increased the amount to roughly 0.25g of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of Botanicare Silica Blast (added to begin to help strengthen her branches) and then ph'd to 6.4 @ 74℉. I've also increased the output of the HLG 650R's to 35% which equates to about 230w at the wall which, of course has raised the temp's in the tent so I've also begun to run the A/C unit in the grow room which is keeping the temp's now at 75℉ in the tent. The RH is running around 75-78% RH giving a VPD of .67-.74 which I'll take! 😁👍 Other than what I've mentioned above, all I did was fill the humidifier with distilled water and watched her grow! 🤩 12/19- Today I watered her with 0.25g of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t and 1 tsp/g Unsulfured Molasses added which was ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉. I'm now watering through the bottom, filling the drip pan and letting the plant draw up the water into itself. I am also watering from the top, but only just enough to moisten the medium. She is really starting to take off now, a sure sign her roots are beginning to get well developed, and I'm thinking of going ahead and topping her in the next day or so. 12/21- Well, yesterday I went ahead and topped this girl! Hopefully she won't stress out over this and starts shooting out those secondary branches. Today I watered her with 0.25g of straight de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉. I gave about 3/4 of it into her drip pan so she can draw it up into her medium, the rest I applied to the top of the medium just to moisten it. Well there's two weeks of veg behind us now, Week Three of vegetation is beginning and she should really start to take off! 😍👍 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! High all. Another week passed and I'm already at 50 days. Wow. Where did that go? Girls are looking pretty. Stretch is over now and there's plenty of fluff all over. Kicking the nutrients up a notch now. Also, they all have a bit more room as the last of the previous grow is now in jars. Feeding every other watering. now about 1 litre every other day. Hopefully, they will turn out ok. But there's no truth to that until it hits the scales. Happy growing everyone! Leafy- Team Green.

Well I'm a bit upset last week I ended up dropping my ph meter in a tank of nutes I was mixing and by the time I got it out the meter was junk. I was planning on flushing the crystal but had to wait another week for the meter. I suppose the good thing to take from this was I found out why I was having issues with my plants. When the new ph meter came in I went to check my run off and my nutes that I had all ready mixed up. It turns out that my meter i had been using this whole grow was off by about -2-2.5 so this whole time I had been feeding the plants at around 3ph smfh. I cant believe they look how they do knowing what went on this whole time. Fastbuds crystal meth is 3days into flush and i will be cutting it down this weekend most likely. Mephisto hubbabubbasmelloscope is smelling like sweet sweet candy and is thick in resin Bighead seeds freeze berry/ blueberry crumble has a dank pungent stank to it and also is frosty but larrfy Big bomb is still growing thick and have bud sites everywhere Now I'm ready for the next batch and ready to get dialed in!

📆 Semana 6 La Slapz ha empezado a sacar su carácter esta semana. Los cogollos se están formando con mucha fuerza y empiezan a tener ese aspecto compacto y agresivo tan típico de esta genética. La resina va cubriendo con rapidez las flores y las hojas cercanas, dándole un look pegajoso y potente. En cuanto a la nutrición, sigo con XpertNutrients y el añadido de Sticky Fingers, que ya se está notando claramente: los tricomas están explotando y el perfil aromático empieza a intensificarse, con ese fondo gaseoso y dulce que caracteriza a esta variedad. Los Adlite siguen haciendo su trabajo impecablemente, y se nota sobre todo en cómo la Slapz está sacando cogollos consistentes hasta en zonas más bajas, aprovechando toda la estructura. El entorno se mantiene estable, con temperaturas entre 22 y 25 °C y una humedad del 55%, controlada gracias a una buena circulación de aire. De momento, ningún síntoma de estrés o problema relacionado con hongos. Aromáticamente, empieza a destacar por esa mezcla entre lo funky y lo afrutado, con un golpe potente que se anticipa a lo que puede venir en las próximas semanas. Una planta que promete pegar fuerte, como su nombre indica. ¡Seguimos creciendo fuerte! 💪

These gals are doing fantastic! Smell is really starting to come out now, smells like a very strong citrus pine 👌🙌 Switched them to full strength flowering nutes and they're doing pretty well. I probably should have transitioned them a little earlier but a little stress doesn't hurt, they're growing just fine! Heat is also an issue but they'll manage 😅 8-4-18 :: Largest plant's bucket got empty on accident; Filled a 15gallon reservoir of full strength nutes and pumped the solution into the bucket as always. Next day my largest plant is dying and the other two are fine, looks like lockout. Flushed for a day and then added nutes, no improvement.. Orange pistils are appearing pretty fast on it too as if it's trying to ripen but not grow. My heart is broken😰 UPDATE: Realized I was an idiot and didn't plug up the holes I drilled into the top of the buckets (I stick a hose in there to fill them up) and the roots were exposed to light.

Bueno después de no poder poner las últimas etapas, sobre la semana 8/9 hicimos el corte de la planta, dos semanas antes de lo pensado ya que tuve que recoger todo el armario para montar el nuevo proyecto la verdad la cortamos con dos semanas antes de tiempo. Un sabor rico muy a especias. La cantidad en seco fue nada más ni menos que 64,5g, unos 20gs por planta muy bien. Buen sabor, no rasca y muy buen colocón. La verdad la volvería a repetir!

Prepared the soil 12 days ago and prepared the pots at the day i put the seeds into glass of water. I used 50% Dope Light and 50% Coco as light mix for the top layer I used 50% Dope Soil and 50% Reused Soild + Additives to reactivate my old soil.

As you can see we are close to the harvest, we are wondering if is better to do first the critical and then the rest or if we better take off all the flowers togheter maybe over keeping the critical

Growing great in week 8 day 2 bloom fed her the last time going to do winter frost and straight water out the gate I started supplementing phosphorus and it fatned them buds up some these girls are heavy eaters

Back to feeding for the first time since transplanting, took a good part of a week to dry out proper so I have some nasty chlorosis/necrosis to bounce back from hopefully soon now back on feeding. On the plus side the toppings are going well hope to do a second time this grow. Both are still pushing out lots of new white pistils but glands are swollen all over the place and she's completely covered in cloudy trichs with few ambers 3-5%..will b harvesting her mid to late wk and will write final harvest report when she's ready to cure.. My carbon filter is struggling to completely take away all the smell and you get a faint odour when i enter room were the tent is.. Day 56 of flowering of Afghani Gold From Spliff Seeds Getting to the end of the line of this beautiful 2 plants she frosty she smells and colors absolutely amazing and the only thing that is still going on is flushing.
