When I began the contest I had only grown Magic Melon once before (last winter), it grew in an 18 litre pot, became around 4 feet tall, and completely filled a 3'x3' tent. A friend of mine successfully grew a seed I gave them this summer in a container about 4 litres and the plant was considerably smaller. The fact that it can be successfully grown in less than 250mL is astonishing, I have buds from the one grown last winter that are bigger than the can I grew this one in. Harvested 91 days from sprout.

She is doing very well pollination was a success the new stain she create should be off the chain patiently waiting.....wonder whats the name gonna be 🤔 do a lil more defoliation nxt week n that should be it till the end.....#happy growing til nxt week.... Der Wuchs der Pflanze ist sehr kräftig und nun war es an der Zeit, die Pflanze zu drehen, damit sich ein leicht entstandener Höhenunterschied wieder ausgleicht. So dass sich die seitlich runtergebundenen Triebe besser entwickeln können. Außerdem habe ich nun einige Sonnensegel zurückgeschnitten, damit die Pflanze ihre kompaktere Wuchsform beibehält. Another decent week I would think. Only issue is the CDLC. She seems to be a slow grower but no new issues have popped up on her. Miracle Berry Express is a monster. I'm LSTing every day...I don't really know when to stop so...yeah.. Everyone is looking good. This is first grow but I have really good feelings about it. Gave em all a hair cut too. I think I took too much though. Next time I won't take any small ones. I'm pretty sure I stunted some nodes....I'll have a pretty big harvest regardless I'm thinking. I kinda just listen to the plants...if they look like they have an issue I'll respond. Otherwise I let them do their thing.

These ladies are putting off pure blueberry fruit!! Pheno 1 is super frosty , stacking nicely, and smells like a blueberry candy - almost like a gatorade glacier freeze smell - it is awesome! Other 2 are looking great as well but pheno 1 has stolen the show.

Flowering day 37 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The buds have developed incredibly nicely this week. The smell is getting more and more extreme :-) . The whole plant itself looks perfect 👍. The growth has slowly stopped as the full energy goes into the production of the buds. This week it was watered 3 times with 1.2 l each (nutrients see table above) They were individually inspected and checked for their health. Osmosis water for the coming week was refilled in a 100 l tank 👍. WEEK 8; all plants healthy and bug free buds are beginning to form . temp is at a perfect 78 degrees no complaints or concerns i'm sure this crop will last me till next year i'm hoping week 9 should show a big improvement in buds forming

Hello Everyone, I didn't felt like updating last week, sorry for that. It was like 25 to 30 degrees celcius for the last time this summer. I enjoyed the beach, bars and restaurants. The plants had a good sunny week as well. Photos for this week are made at the end of week 5 of flowering. 3 of 6 plants are ready for harvest. Somehow it didn't suprised me, the plants stayed small and developed fast. I was thinking about a flowering time of 7 to 8 weeks but those 3 only needed 5. Why? Well they didn't drink that fast anymore, pots stayed heavy for a long time, all the Pistils on the buds started to get brown and the thc was looking milky and the buds are full with it. Gues i will keep flowering the other 3 for 1 or 2 weeks. Lets see how it goes. I did run out of PK 13-14 last week and Green sensation at the end of this week, So a kind of good timing. I will just increase the base nutrients a little bit to compensate it. I know many growers just growing with base nutes and get good harvests as well lol. As long as the 3 remaining plants like to drink their feedings fast and the Pistils stay white, I will keep giving them nutes for another 1-2 weeks. When they start to struggle I will start flushing. 1/15/2024 - Day 15 Veg: today is the start to week 3, and she continues to look much better. She's a little smaller than I would like at this point, but after the damage from the foiler spray, I'm sure that slowed her down a bit. Hopefully she will be good from here. Have only watered with 6.0 plain water up to this point. 1/18/2024 - Day 18 veg: Did my first feeding today with about .5 gallons at a 6 ph. Mixed in Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja 60 as a wetting agent, Rootwise Mycrobe Complete, Rootwise Bio-Catalyst, BuildASoil Big 6, BuildASoil Cow Cal 24, Pure Protein Dry organic fish fertilizer, and Yah-Whey Thrive. Also, sprinkled some OptiVeg around the base of the plant, before watering in. 1/20/2024 - Day 20 veg: she seems to have liked the watering from the other day, because she is praying today. Trying to decide if I should top her. I'm a little concerned the damage I did in week 1, with the overly hot foiler feed, may have slowed her down a bit, so I'm worried about slowing her down anymore. Her side branching is coming in fairly well, but I'd like to help it along, so I decided to go with a minor super crop to bend her over a bit. We'll see how she reacts.

Cosecha: -632 gramos secos, mucho más de lo que esperaba. -buen sabor, olor potente, efecto muy cerebral. -me atrase en varios procesos, lo que alargó al menos en unas 2 semanas el cultivo, sin cometer los mismos errores creo que se puede lograr más cantidad y más rápido. -Advanced nutrients siempre me ha dado buen resultado, aunque los productos son caros, en el segundo cultivo estoy probando otro fertilizante más barato y hasta ahora con excelentes resultados. -seguiré usando el mismo sustrato(turba + vermiculita en proporción 50/50). -en el segundo cultivo(Jamaican Dream 2) es posible que la cosecha sea más grande y más rápida, ya que voy aprendiendo de los errores cometidos y voy refinando el método.
