This week I have separated the plants into 2 tent, to allow for wider canopy per plant. Day 5 - LST and defoliation needed

Jiffy germination peat tablets were used for germination. Seeds were put there straight out of the capsule, I haven't put the seeds into the water as I had done before for previous grows.

Doubled her height this week.... from 3cm to 6cm 😂 but she pushed out a fair few leaves into the process. Going well so far.

Overall a fun and enjoying flower of the purple sunset. She transitions quickly and stretchs fast. Being an indica hybrid she doesn't get too tall, thus creating strong and sturdy branches to hold her fast dense frosty nugs. During the stretch she loves a good amount of grow notes. Week 2 to 4 she starts getting picky. Once she starts to fade, it is time to drop the grow nutes and go into full bloom early in week 4. This cultivar shows more phenotypical expressions depending on climate and flush. She shows huge purple hues in flush. Allowing her to go into week 9 to 11 can result in almost purple buds. She has a nice term profile in flower and once in the jars. Sweet candy grape 🍇 purple punch notes on the nose and on the pallette when exhaling on the smoke. When trimming this girl she was. Breeze to trim. She got a good 8 to 9 days to dry and was then sweat in the jars. When you smoke Ethos purple sunset the indica really hits you like a train. Taking her down at day 52 was a good choice. The high feels like any of the high once u smoke it. You don't start to notice the stoned effects until you're halfway through a big bowl with your partner. As you guys finish, you notice the body stone take in effect as well the heavy chest and trachea feeling which I LOVE. A sense of happiness and relaxation set in almost immediately. Very enjoyable indica high with great terps. I would give it a 10 but that maybe next run once grow her to week 10 flower. Overall Ethos purple sunset delivers. D78/F34 - 17/06/23 - I changed light schedule hoping she's going better. (6 only red ligh and 7 red-white) D79/F35 - 18/06/23 - New lights schedule is running D80/F36 - 19/06/23 - Added water and integrators EC 1.0 and pH 6.4 D81/F37 - 20/06/23 - Nothing to report D82/F38 - 21/06/23 - Added water and nutes EC 1.0 and pH 5.7 D83/F39 - 22/06/23 - Temp is too high for both water and environment. I see signals of suffering on the flowers (foxtailing) D84/F40 - 23/06/23 - I'm trying to keep the Tremp under control but isn't easy. To lowering water temp (that now is about 26 °C) I'm adding some ice to the water

Did a prune and lst. Took a branch off the left to sex.

Got everything moved around & the new carbon filter, fans & lights so hopefully I got better coverage with less power👍🏼 Topped 1 of the Gelato OGs today was getting way taller than the rest we will see how she bounces back! Everything else seems to be going great! Day 22 topped & trimmed them up a bit Day 23 started LST on a few Day 24 started mainline on one of the GZ Day 25 trimmed them a little more today

They've been in flower for a week now. ⏰ No sign of sex yet. ♀️ Loving how they're brushing out. The health of the plants looks well. 😄

Harvested the Clones! I'm stoked how #4 grew out, I think she's the winner! With limited space in my grow, I'm only going to be able to bloom out the rest of the phenos clones to week 3-4.. The show must go on.. It's the price I must pay for using non-ideal cloning methods... Next round of phenohunting will have 100% cloning success, using my new aeroponics cloning machine.

Day 65 Day 30 Flower Seeing nice stretching and spacing on nodes are still kept tight, strong but small structure. Nice hues coming through on the tops fans. Minor lollipopping and defoliating done today. Not much else to say, Stay high my growmie ✌️🚀💚 Day 68 Day 33 F - Final lollipopping and defoliating today. She really is starting to develope. Node spacing is nice, bud sites forming, nice hues and glistening. Applied feed today. Small compact looking plant, but hoping to see them top shelf grade dense nuggets with this technique and strain 😍- we can hope

Day 60: flush 💦 Pictures are taken on day 62 📸 --------------------------------------------- She is doing great 😂i got nothing to say🤷‍♂️😂 It seems like the nematodes are killing the fungus gnats larvae. Most get killed by the fly paper and no new ones are coming 😁👍 Happy growing 🍌🌱

Harvest time has come. It is difficult to kill a plant I have been raising so lovingly and with a lot of care as a wonderful living being that she is (and we all are as One). I even stayed up all night once to do a slow full 3x flush of the soil with emergency pH correction and buffering when I finally received the meters and looked at runoff values. It was almost like manually pumping a blood transfusion for a patient overnight. The idea to grow indoors came as a lightning and almost by a random chance. It was, of course, a synchronicity of a high order, because that flash coincided precisely with a rare moment where I had a small window of time to collect seeds of my choice in person and transport them safely and very quickly. And get extremely helpful advice from a moderately experienced grower, who helped me avoid self-taught rookie mistakes and pick an almost perfect setup for my purposes. Many steps I have learned only when it was time to take them, and since there's only so much I can do in a day, I got to some procedures like instrumentally checking salt buildup and substrate pH pretty late. I did monitor her leaves from the get-go, so leaving aside a light nute / photon burn of the tips, I think it went pretty well. Definitely better than I would have imagined! I wanted to do a small sitting meditation beside the plant before cutting her to dry. Wanted to thank the plant for this majestic experience and the healing power of gardening and caring for a plant on top of the medicinal values of cured buds and edibles we made along the way from trimmed fans. Those were unexpectedly strong and pleasantly smoooth. Wanted to tell her that I will miss her and remember her fondly, especially since she is my first full successful grow. The first time is always an unforgettable experience. Wanted to tell her that I do not want to kill her, and it was painful for me to FIM and shape her. A sitting meditation turned into a dynamic meditation when I started removing light gear and feeding system and cleaning the grow space in preparation for drying. Pretty quickly I noticed that I have a very real feeling of experiencing light- to medium-dose mushroom trip. I had vaped some 50/50 hybrid street bud half an hour earlier, but it was a very modest dose — shout out to TinyMight, you guys are amazing! — but no psychedelics. At that moment I felt that I don't need to say anything to the plant, because we are one and she had known my every feeling and intention from the start. And then I realized that what I had considered to be a sombre event, is just a transformation for the plant, it's next manifestation. Having lived as a plant, she will now transform into happy and healing experiences of those who will enjoy her flowers. This plant has supported me and helped me heal deep trauma and depression at least twice in my life over a period of a few months on each occasion. In between those healing periods it was just a get high and enjoy shit because why not kind of thing, and it didn't have any long lasting psychological effect at all, in stark contrast to classical psychedelics (LSD, shrooms, DMT etc). During those non-healing periods I didn't even have an urge to smoke all that often. I could easily not touch the stuff for a couple of months straight. My yearly consumption was in low single digit grams. Sometimes I felt that I did not enjoy the effect at all, it was slightly unpleasant even. Why would I want to blur my crisp perception to a gooey marshmallow state of cannabinoid high and scattered attention? But when it is time to do some inner work — and you cannot miss this feeling if you strive to tune into your inner state — god, is it a POWERFUL plant! I am very happy and humbled to be a conduit for this energy by caring for the plants and raising them. I respect this plant very deeply. --- Split her into thee parts by leaving only a few nodes creating the outer layer of colas on each level and effectively "topping" her a couple of levels above (or below, technically, now that she's upside down) and this creating a new drying layer/level. Tried wet trimming and I think I liked it. Will try to complete it in the next 1-2 days if I decide to go ahead with the idea. --- After drying for 7 days, I stabilized humidity at 60-62% for 4 hours and then chopped off buds (trimmed in batches during the first 3 days of drying), weighed and packed into glass jars for curing. Literally packed, because she yielded over 4 litres of dried trimmed bud (I think it was 4.5l) weighing 267g. WOW. I did not expect that on my first run I will be able to grow so much potent medicine. A lot of it is fluffy, but can be easily pressed denser, if storage or appearance are a concern. In fact, I had to press the buds slightly to make it all fit in two 2-litre jars. Thank you to everyone who helped me along the way and thank you for your warm wishes! Dear Growers :o) Im back with report. I can recommend this strain for many reasons ! First of all i would like to summerize the grow. The plant was first in my garden outdoors, where i did plant to measures of the 70x70 tent. That bring som eproblems at start with bugs and other stuff, but we survived! Next and last was my mistake to mix soil and coco, because when the coco dries it brings over nutri problems. I will learn from my mistakes and hopefully continue with next gro documentary here. Now im sure i will move from tent to regular furniture custom grow box, to be as stealth as i can and to prevent noise in the flat and smell... The strain : BCN Critical is really great plant , very potent and with nice orange trichomes. Covers with sticky and glossy resin. At the end of the flowering i hit in the box 75% of humidity and mold started in few buds, but in this extremew conditions. on the other hand i have few plants still outside and they are compeltely healthy (15 degrees during day and 90% humidityx near the river) so I can recommend this strain. the outcome from the one plant in the box was 132g ( 60g of big 3-4g buds) the rest are like tip of finger im satisfied with the result under 200W led lumii black light ! the smoke is really clean, with citrus touch, smells very strong from smoke, but the best is from vape! After few puffs You can feel uplifting high, then relaxed. Not my favourite terpenes profile, but really interesting. after 2 hours U can smoke again :).In compare with outdoor harvest its not so heavy to body high. thanks for watching my diary and keep growing !

Wonderful strain from Fastbuds. Strong and reliable. Hits your brain like a sativa and your shoulders like an indica. Love this high. Surely a night time smoke. I also have to thank this site for letting me discover really expert people and good cultivation techniques, surely without it I would have had less knowledge and the result would have been affected. So thank you Grow Diaries and FastBuds for the great experience this time too!

Day 34 veg BM1 responding well to topping. Vigorous growth. BM2 growing normal BM3 has tight internodal spacing. BM4 grew slower than the others but didnt get topped at all. I started feeding today 0.5ml/l biobizz grow. Problem with watering: pots dont get watered properly. Water just runs off of the bottom.
