Nov 29: They seem to be accelerating in veg growth but I see a small portion of the leaf on the smaller plant either grew in mutated or somthing cut it, I haven’t seen a single bug in the box so I don’t think it’s that but you never know, and the bigger plant has some issues near the base of its stem, I noticed it before I did the LST and now I’m wondering if I should have addressed that issue before starting the LST. Let me know what you guys think! Dec 2: Walked into the room and noticed a faint smell, wasn’t any smell last night when I started the LST on the slower girl. Further inspection showed some white pistols on the bigger girl, I believe she is the culprit for the smell as the other seems about a week behind. They are both now LST‘d and leaf tucked. Dec 6: I have tied down some of the longer chutes on the bigger plant (will see in week 5 update) to create more airflow and light penetration as I didn’t even realize how bushy the stem and node sections had gotten. I have also cut the chutes coming off the first true leaf. I don’t think I will make any cuts to the smaller one as it’s already a slower growing pheno. Going on a trip starting the end of week secede to late week 8, so I have a automatic feeder coming from Amazon, and I will continue using it through flower to reduce open tent time.

This is a project by a friend and me :) He has no experience with it but a garden and I have a lot of experience and no garden :) His 80 year old grandfather prepared the earth for us and I have to say I have never seen such perfect earth. The plants have never shown any deficiency and have consistently performed well. Unfortunately we had to harvest 2-4 weeks early because the weather is too humid and there is a lot of concern about mold. One is currently still in the ground but will be harvested in the next few days. That was great fun!! A big thanks to my buddy and his grandfather ♡ I will grow the strain again in the future as I was very happy with the performance!!

Day 64 - Starting week 10 today and she was dried out and read for water so she got two gallons of plain pH’d water. Other than that, there’s not much to speak of other than I’ll do a little defoliating on Thursday so a couple lower bud sites will be opened up more. Day 68 - All looking good still and looking like she doesn’t have much more time left, she’s finishing quicker than I thought. Her trichs are about 75% milky and 25% clear so I think she’s got about 2 weeks or so left. She was pretty dry so she got one more round of nutes and then will be just plain water till the end. Day 69 - She’s still chugging along nicely. No issues from her feeding of nutes yesterday and she’s still fattening up each day. Couple little spots where she could definitely still fill in but she’s got a little bit of time left so I’m sure she will. Day 70 - The end of week 10 and looking over the trichs today, she’s just about all milky, was pretty hard to find any clear and picked out a couple amber in there. So it’s looking like she’s got a week or a little more left but will make my decision to chop when she has the amber I’m looking for, about 25-30%.

3/21: That last quarter-strength nutrient feeding seems to have taken well. Amnesia is bulking up slowly, and isn't letting go of as many dead leaves today. I am removing any crispy leaves I can find from Trainwreck as well. She isn't letting go of any leaves like Amnesia is, they're just ugly as sin. Oh well, they're doing their job. I am keeping the humidity to match the current temperature according to the VPD charts, like every week, so I haven't been lowering the humidity over time because of the heat in the tent. 3/22: Leaves are looking greener today. Just keeping an eye out for any loose leaves ready to be removed from either plant. Not many so far today.

So this week flushing began. Flushed with water pH 6.0 EC 0.1, I won't harvest the plants untill the run off EC is the same as the Input EC. Temps also brought down to preserve Terps as much as possible. Serious smell coming from both strains, Buds are somehow getting even frostier. Can not wait to harvest these two strains!

👉🏽 Day 71 (5/16): Watered with ph'd RO water for the first time. Minor defoliation. I'll thinking of harvesting her at the same time as her tentmates, which will probably be around Day 75. 👉🏽 Day 75 (5/20): Harvest day! Will be doing a dry trim, so I just removed fan leaves. This week has gone great! At the beginning of the week we flushed the remaining Fox farm nutrients we had been using before with Sledgehammer. After we treated with an organic compost tea brewed by our local hydroponic shop. We started with the Cyco Platinum Series this week. It’s still a bit early to tell but we will see how this nutrient line performs. I am very optimistic. As you may be able to tell I have a reservoir with coco coir mix on top with a drip irrigation system. I’m going to be trying out this system and an ebb and flow system in the upcoming weeks. I’m looking to maximize quality and quantity and believe these two system offer some of the best results. We look forward to starting that project! As for the lady she is looking extremely healthy. She is recovering well from being topped and lst. We’re going to let her grow up a bit now and stretch her out across the first trellis. My experience says this should be in 2-3 weeks and the. We will let her grow up through the second trellis. All in all I believe I’m looking at a 7-10 week veg. My goal is to shoot for a minimum of 1.3lbs from one plant. Well, I am not so afraid of heavy defoliation any more. 😁 I can already see the benefits. I do have to be careful when reaching in to apply bondage or make adjustments. I unfortunately lost some buds. This speaks to early training, and earlier pruning. I will plan to have better access to each branch. No mold, roots are happy. The smell in there is spicy floral and dank, almost rotten. My filter is old, and not suited for the high cfm needed to keep the heat down. My ONA bucket is also a bit old. I will have to give that room a periodic ozone blast.

I think about the fact that it is no longer necessary to cut leaves. I cut it a lot, but I notice that many people cut a bunch of leaves at one time, although somewhere I read no more than 10% at a time.
