420 Fastbuds Week 6 Cherry Cola Auto Weekly update on these awesome ladies. The bigger of the two is definitely my red headed stepchild of the bunch as it just doesn't want to grow normally. It's still progressing nicely just as the other. I decided to add a little General Hydroponics 3 part flora line to my feeding just to give them an added boost if needed. The Temps have dropped dramatically leaving it close to 55-60 most of the day/night. All in all Happy Growing.

did some light defoliation (lower larger leaves and the ones touching soil) on day 28. started feeding her bio-bloom as she transitions to pre-flower. next week will start feeding with top-max as well. looking healthy but im worried they wont grow as much as expected :(

Tag 48, Woche 3 der Blüte kommt morgen zum Ende… 🌷🌺 Soweit haben sie sich extrem gut gestreckt und Bio Masse aufgebaut. Stamm kommt photoperiodischen am Ende der Blüte nah, deutet darauf hin, dass es der Pflanze super geht, sieegr als genügend Nährstoffe zur Verfügung hat und anstatt Stämme bauen zwei der Ladys einfach Rohrsysteme auf 😆 die angezeigten Äste sind teilweise so dick wie bei anderen die ganze Pflanze 🌱 Terps sind super Candy, eine Streckt sich komischerweise immer noch, war ein Spätzündung, dafür meiste Bio Masse von allen. 3 blühen bereits gut, eine davon lässt tatsächlich mit der Trichomproduktion auf sich warten, wieso keine Ahnung aber interessant zu beobachten 😄

She is growing strong and healthy..

This week was good for the Cream auto. I performed some defoliation and undid the LST for a couple days as well as raised the lights to 24" to induce some stretching. I did selectively begin LST on the Cream towards the end of week 5. She has been getting 1/4 strength flower nutes and recieved a fresh top dressing of hot soil coco coir mix; as her roots were surfacing. So far so good. Atleast 20 budsites are visible and she has responded well to all the training and is coming into her stretch period. Now all we are waiting on is them white pistols to start shooting at the budsites. Hopefully week 6 will entail this! She should be at about half of her life span at this point. 4-5 weeks more of flower is expected before harvest.

Hello growmies! Welcome to week 19 for Queen Citronella, this Super Lemon Haze by Green House Seeds. Planted as a Christmas gift to myself on 25th December 2022 it is now 1st May 2023 and we are on day 128. This it turns out was Citronella's last day living! The smell, oh god the smell, it's just the best. I will update the harvest when she has dried. I tend not to bother with wet weights as I don't really see what the point is, but I can tell you there is absolutely more than 500g here for sure. I am expecting 150-200g when dry. I accidentally dropped one of the smaller branches and it made an extremely satisfying "thud" when it landed.

Plants with more direct UV showed much more purple across all 3 plants. The data shows that the number of terpenes in dried Cannabis flowers increases with a “No Red” light treatment for the final three days of production. Based upon these findings, we feel confident in recommending a spectrum control program that eliminates red light output from fixtures for the final 72 hours of the Cannabis flowering cycle. Terpenes are aromatic compounds that give cannabis some of its most distinct aromas from citrus and berry, to more earthy tones. Many species of plants produce and emit terpenes in a diurnal, or daily cycle that is regulated by a complex web of signaling. There are also many plants that emit terpenes at night to attract nocturnal pollinators (Marinho et al., 2014346). Regardless of when the terpenes are produced or emitted, these processes are often dependent upon cues derived from natural light/dark cycles via a native circadian clock (Dudareva et al., 2004). Several light-sensitive pigments are involved in these processes of production and emission, and the different photoreceptors are dependent upon different wavelengths of light to be activated or deactivated. Emission of terpenes is a process that is entirely dependent upon phytochromes and red/far-red light cues in most plant species (Flores and Doskey, 2015). For example, repeated light/dark phytochrome signaling is necessary for the emission of terpenes in tobacco plants (Roeder et al., 2007). Based on previous findings, we hypothesized that a lack of red light and phytochrome-mediated light/dark signaling on the part of the plant is responsible for an increase in terpene content in cannabis. The plant continues to synthesize terpenes, but a lack of red light to trigger the Pr-Pfr shift results in a lack of terpene emission by the plant, thus causing the terpenes to accumulate in the maturing flowers. Sound waves at 1 kHz and 100 dB for 1 h within a distance of 0.20 m could significantly promote the division and cell wall fluidity of callus cells and also significantly enhance the activity of protective enzymes and endogenous hormones. Sound waves stimulation could increase the plant plasma-membrane H+-ATPase activity, the contents of soluble sugar, soluble protein, and amylase activity of callus. Moreover, sound waves could increase the content of RNA and the level of transcription. Stress-induced genes could switch on under sound stimulation. Sound waves at 0.1–1 kHz and SPL of (70±5) dB for 3 h from plant acoustic frequency technology (PAFT) generator within a distance ranged from 30 to 60 m every other day significantly increased the yield of sweet pepper, cucumber and tomato by 30.05, 37.1 and 13.2%, respectively. Furthermore, the yield of lettuce, spinach, cotton, rice, and wheat were increased by 19.6, 22.7, 11.4, 5.7, and 17.0%, respectively. Sound waves may also strengthen plant immune systems. It has been proved that spider mite, aphids, gray mold, late blight and virus disease of tomatoes in the greenhouses decreased by 6.0, 8.0, 9.0, 11.0, and 8.0%, respectively, and the sheath blight of rice was reduced by 50%. Day 71👋🌱 Started flushing. Giving ph controlled water at 6.2/6.5, I check TDS to water owerflowing from pot, bringing it to 50ppm from 400. Now I’ll start checking trichomes every three days, I’d like a 60% white and 40% amber. Day 72👋🌱🌱 Hi all growers, how is going? Second flush, baut maybe the real first one😎, i gave 10 lt of ph controled water (6.5) and was checking ppm from water coming out. i gave water unitl it reach 400 ppm, my water is 200 ppm, i hope i'll bring it to 50 ppm for next flush in 3 days. This lady is so fat, and tasty already i can smell chocolate and pinus, i'm sure they're going to fatten up 😋😉 Day 77🌱🌱🌱 🌱🌱🌱🌱 Keep washing it with ph controlled water, water now looks cleanest and buds are really blooming now, leaves are loosing color in favour to buds, i think i've got ther 6.7 days left to this lady cut. the cycle has come to an end, the plants have been harvested and are being cured. the mother yielded 421 grams of dry flowers the clones yielded 303 grams of dry flowers. the variety changed its smell during curing, it became even more pleasant, the smell of garlic is not felt, fruit spices, very complex. the variety is generally very strong, not suitable for beginners and for daily smoking. I am very glad that such a rich harvest came out.

Heeey all! Sorry for the huge amount of photos but this week was crazy. So many things happened and my lack of knowledge clearly showed up. I ended stressing one of my plants for no reason! 😱 At the start of the week everything was normal until I noticed that one of Roko's buds looked weird. It seemed to be too dry and orange for my tastes and I didn't know what it was. Obviously I started to ask around and I got so many mixed messages haha. Some people said it was nothing and I should not worry about it and others said they were 100% sure it was botrytis or budrot... aaaaaaaand I got paranoid lol. 😵😨 At first I tried to keep calm and ignore it for one day but the next one the bud looked even worse and that's when I feared the worst. What if it's really budrot? In general the values I write in here are approximates or an average of the week.. and usually my tent never goes over 60% of RH (in the dark it stays between 50% to 60% when I water them and on some rare occasions it reaches 65%). This time, after I checked the thermometer it said "75% of RH" but I did not know if it was during their sleep time or maybe some time after the lights went on) so once again I feared the worst! What if the plants stayed all the night with that amount of RH? Was that enough time for them to develop budrot? What if it's still nothing? Yikes. 😭 I had to do something and I did, I wasn't going to risk everything! I started removing the worst looking leaf to see if there was anything mushy or ugly between it and the pistils but I didn't see anything (maybe I was safe and that was something else? Or maybe the budrot was even deeper and I could not see it?) After reading I realized that the best idea was to cut the bud in half and then slice it to "see" if there was anything inside... so I did it and absolutely nothing showed up 😖! Those were good news! Sadly tho the poor plant had to go thru some stress after cutting that bud in half (at least from what I saw the insides were tightly packed and the photos showed some really cool stuff) The rest of the week was uneventful (compared to what I feared haha) and some leaves started to change even more in color (I love it). I think I'll start with the flush next week or the one after that one. There are some amber trichomes...! Thanks all for checking my diary! Hopefully you'll all find the pictures interesting! PD: None of the plants have seeds in them, even when one of the sliced buds seemed to be making them!
