Made a minor tweak with with the SCROG method on the CS strain this week, I removed the net completely to allow the stems to shoot straight up. Added molasses to my feeding this week, hopefully it does what I expect as the budding sites on both plants are beginning to thicken.

It's amazing how quickly the weather can change. Just a few weeks ago we were bundled up in our warmest coats, and now it's finally starting to feel like springtime. With temps in the 40s and 50s, it's the perfect time to get outside and enjoy the sunshine. My pound cake plant is finally getting somewhere. It's totally weird, because the stems turned this super cool purple color. Soon it's going to be covered in pound cake buds that'll be ready to eat. I'm thinking fancy frosting might be the way to go, but I'm also considering something fruity on top.

Super happy with everything so far, plants are growing fast and everything is going smoothly. I have all propped up a couple inches for better light penetration. Gonna need to take the humidifier out here soon so I can maximize all of the space for the plants. Haven't done any cutting, just some LST.

This is the beginning of each week. So I flushed them and switched nutrients. They were mag deficient, nitro toxic. Not PH actually. I'm adding co2 next week after I seal the room. I think I need to back the PAR down to 800 but they are still alive and it's over half way done. How any more weeks? I thought this was a 65 day auto. Hydro in a 5 gallon pot could add up to three weeks I heard with Autos. could these go 12 weeks total?

I did nothing except remove the extra large burdocks, I will do a thorough defoliation after the large "dandelions" appear. In the meantime, I continue to observe. This strain is certainly giving me its fair share of problems. First, it was the yellowing of leaves. Now, I'm noticing early signs of bud rot. Just a few colas are affected right now and I'm hoping it doesn't become too widespread. I've cut off affected areas and I'm hoping for the best. On the bright side, one of the plants isn't presenting with any of these problems. In fact, the buds on this plant in particular are looking quite beautiful and have just started showing off its purple tint. Being a first time grower, I expected I may run into problems. That's why I decided to hedge my bet and plant four seeds instead of just one. I suppose that insurance policy is paying off.
