This week I saw rapid growth The plays seem to be taking the high ec very well. They don't really have any smell yet. Some of the branches grow horizontally into the other plants at the same time the plants that grow like this aren't stretching up. I guess those are bushier pheno. Looks like they're going to be heavy. So far so good 😊

Here we have herbies grandmommy purple , its my third attemt at indoor , so this plant and another plant got put in this after my first ever go at indoor failed so i got new soil cannaterra proffesional and put these in and once they both filled the tent i put this one outside until i got my new tent and swapped the plant over so she started to bud outside as its winter (tail end of it ) and then my new twnt arrived and i put this in here a week ago and she has been loving it , it was very purple from being outside in the cold but its slowing fading away and the other one witch is (grandmommy purple 2) has no couler just green

We're starting to make some progress, leaves are looking good. Gaining some decent height, not too much. I'm probably going to top her, so I'm keeping an eye on the optimal time to do that. Hello Growmies, Two weeks into vegetation, our Watermelon Candy by Zamnesia is striking a fine figure in the grow tent. Happy Holidays! Week 4 flower and not much to report. Didn’t do anything special, just water from drip, about 1 gallon over 24hrs. Drip turns on 4x during lights on. Light seems to be hitting everywhere fairly even. 2x TSW 2000’s are at about 75%, 18-20” from canopy. I might turn them up to 100% and see how they react for the final push and then turn them down again nearing the end. I will also top dress again soon for the last time. Fungus Gnats are around but I wouldn’t say it’s an infestation, just got to put in a few more traps and I think the “Grub Grenade” is taking care of the soil. There is a 2” layer of straw mulch to help keep them off the surface comfortably. Sour Diesel genetics from Blimburn are strong, thick branching, frosty, sweet & sour smell right NOW, nice internode spacing for light penetration required less defoliation. Thanks for the view! I topped and trained them two more times. I also lolipopped them, that is cut the bottom 2 sets of leaves and branches.

So glad that this girl was my first grow. This stuff reeks of lemon, I love jack and I think The Bulldog nailed it. I Look forward to posting some of the fire genetics I have next up. She never lost color even through a pretty thorough flush. Effects are very cerebral and uplifting, awesome for a hike or going outdoors!

Day 7, they didnt all pop but most of them did I think 2 didnt break the surface. Theyll get another week or so in the cup while some space opens up then go into 3 gal bags for a quick veg

Week 3 - Transplant to fabric pots Transplanted the ladies in to 17L fabric pots. Used GHF BioGrow and BioBloom in a 2:1 ratio 1g per L to unamended coco-perlite (70/30) mix with extra worm castings. Turned the wattage up on my ballasts to 400W each. The ladies have finally settled in their final pots and the are happy in their new environment. I also performed LST by tucking fan leaves and softly pinching and bending some of the bud sites.

The week went very well, the plant stretched for an additional 15cm and is now showing the first proper bud-sites. Had to change the nutrient solution after day 5, as the tank was almost empty. I increased the nutrients to a 1000 ppm, which caused a tiny amount of tip burn, so will not be increasing it next week. The second scrog net helps greatly spreading out the canopy, I will continue with a very light LST during the flower as well to guarantee maximum light exposure for all bud-sites. I am enjoying this grow very much, first time in a while for me to grow photos inside and I think I will continue growing photos, it seems they are a bit more forgiving and I feel that I can take the time to really let them fill the tent. On my previous grows I usually had 3 autos in there, which would always lead to issue in regards to some plants growing quicker than others. I have a very optimistic outlook in regards to harvest, which I will keep yo myself in order to not jinx it, but as you can see it looks promising. Thanks for reading. Until next week :)

I made a DWC system from a water pump in a 5gallon bucket and an air pump outside the bucket. The water pump brings water up through a tube to replicate a drip ring and the air pump aerates the water in the reservoir. It's very quiet and seems to work well. I modified a design I got from my local hydroponics guy where I also got the net pot and peat pellet. I soaked the peat pellet in tap water that I'd left out overnight to evaporate out the chlorine. I put the seed in the hole in the top and pushed some peat over the hole. I kept it on a plate under a bowl in a drawer for a few days like I would do for the paper towel method. Then I put it in a rock wool cube. It didn't quite fit and I was worried that I might have hurt the root while forcing it in but it looks OK. Then I put it under my light and waited for it to sprout. Now that I've got a sprout happening, I'll plug in the DWC system and put in some starting nutrients. This is my first time running a hydroponics system after almost 10 years growing, so I'm excited :)

7/1/23 - Day 19 I do water changes weekly. The new weeks start off with a water change. Water changes always scare me, it's the mixing of nutes and balancing the PH. It sounds easy in theory but in practice you want to interfere with the PH asap. But I was able to let the LEAF box empty the water, I filled it up with RO water, LEAF then dosed all my nutes. After that i came in a PH balanced it. (PH balance is something LEAF will be able to do, but there was a bug in the software so instead of having LEAF dose the PH i decided to do it manually for now. The Roots are INSANE! I bet by time I'm done there will be 1+ gallons of water displaced by the roots. I almost started cutting her lower leaves at the base, but I decided to let them grow for a bit. If they grow out some more i will be able to scrogg them and then cut the leaves below after they are trained up a bit. The lights have kicked on and everything looks in order. The plant looks great too, she might be in a small amount of WTF because of all the PH changes but i think the drastic changes were kept to a minimum. She looks happy. As always ill update you tomorrow. 7/3/23 - Day 21- I trimmed some of the lower leaves on the bottom, I'm leaving her bushy still, I won't want to cut any more branches if I can, I need the branches from the bottom to reach the sides of the Scrogg net. In the next couple of days being apple to Scrogg and stretch her while Shes still moldable. 7/5/23 - Day 23 - I added some training lines to some of the branches. I need them to be as spread out as possible going into the Scrogg net. I'm a big fan of not trimming too much as she grows. I don't mind there being some foliage down below. I will cut as needed if it looks like the lower areas are sprouting too much of the little leaves, but for the most part, I let nature do its thing. She's drinking a ton of water now. I am getting my RO water dropped off by the five gal loads. I just got the membrane for my RO150 unit that I plan on having up and running within a couple of weeks so I can start making my own water. 7/6/23 - Day 24 - I added a picture of my RO water setup. It cannot be set up permanently, so this was a great solution. You can see how I was able to tie my branches down, next time I will drill a few holes on the side of the pot. This is a great solution for anyone looking to Scrogg and manage the vertical height. Also, you can see on the top branch there was some pulling, so much so that it started to pull the plant and it created a small lump. All good but just goes to show how pliable these plants are. Week 7 Flower - Notice that the tops of some of the Tops are pretty hard. Think they got a bit cooked by the LED... Hifi 4G & Blueberry Pics are missing from this week...I thought I had taken some footage, but seems that I got distracted. Work has been nuts so not surprising that I gapped on that. Hifi 4G is needed more support. Looks like a blue ribbon chaos around it. Blueberry looks fantastic.

This week has yielded positive results from the FIM And LST. I topped the internodal new branching that grew from the FIM job as well this week and the 2 extra tops are growing in response on each branching. She is now under a 4 bulb vivosun T5 6500K fixture and is responding very well to the light changes. Her stems are begging to give off terpines when rubbed. She smells of tart sweet lemons and diesel fuel haha. I am very happy about this grow and am expecting preflower to begin soon.

Week 2 has gone just as well as I'd like it too! I had an accident during the week where I had dropped a sticky bug trap on one of my girls, this led to me accidentally ripping off a fan leaf and a half, but she seems to have come out of it just fine! (Thankfully). I have been feeding 1/3 strength nutes the past few feeds, stepping it up from 1/4. I will be watering until I see runoff from now on to prevent nutrients from building up in the coco. Update(day 15, 4/12/20) Today I purchased a new oscillating fan, co2 bags and a new hygrometer that hooks up to my phone and shows me stats. The girls have been putting in a lot of work over the past 24 hours. I also had a Purple Punch photo seed sprout today which I may be turning into a mother plant. I will be starting a diary for this girl too. Update (Day 16 5/12/20) Second purple punch photo popped today, going to keep 1 inside and give the other to my mom to take care of. The girls got their first 1/4 dose of calmag today fed at 6ph due to all the nutrients settling there.( I do have ph +/- but I'm going to try run this whole grow at 5.8-6.2. Update (Day 17 6/12/20) Plants seem happy today. Fan leaves producing a the pre-existing nodes are starting to shoot out quite rapidly. Unfortunately, my streets power went out today for ~90 minutes, I opened the tent, windows and doors to get any light in I could, thankfully the power came back on shortly after. I fed the girls today with very little run-off(I'm trying to perfect the amount of water they need). Update (Day 18 7/12/20) The girls have jumped up over night! I wont be feeding today as I'd like the coco to dry out quite a bit more. Update (Day 19 8/12/20 Gave the girls a small feed today with very little run-off Everything seems to be going well so far, I'm very thankful! Update (day 20 9/12/20) Everything is going pretty well today. I will not be feeding as the increased humidity has kept the coco more moist than usual. Will be feeding full strength nutes tomorrow! WEEK 6 This Black Runtz is growing at a vigorous pace and has handled all training perfectly so far. I’ve topped her to 16 shoots, and she’s developed with a very even structure. Overall, her growth has been quite stretched up to this point. I’m hoping she won’t get too tall later during flowering. Everything still looks really promising and gives hope for a great bloom phase. Next week, I’ll switch the lights to 12 hours to initiate flowering. This week, my lamp ran at 500 PPFD, and I watered once with plain water and once with nutrient solution.
