Plants with more direct UV showed much more purple across all 3 plants. The data shows that the number of terpenes in dried Cannabis flowers increases with a “No Red” light treatment for the final three days of production. Based upon these findings, we feel confident in recommending a spectrum control program that eliminates red light output from fixtures for the final 72 hours of the Cannabis flowering cycle. Terpenes are aromatic compounds that give cannabis some of its most distinct aromas from citrus and berry, to more earthy tones. Many species of plants produce and emit terpenes in a diurnal, or daily cycle that is regulated by a complex web of signaling. There are also many plants that emit terpenes at night to attract nocturnal pollinators (Marinho et al., 2014346). Regardless of when the terpenes are produced or emitted, these processes are often dependent upon cues derived from natural light/dark cycles via a native circadian clock (Dudareva et al., 2004). Several light-sensitive pigments are involved in these processes of production and emission, and the different photoreceptors are dependent upon different wavelengths of light to be activated or deactivated. Emission of terpenes is a process that is entirely dependent upon phytochromes and red/far-red light cues in most plant species (Flores and Doskey, 2015). For example, repeated light/dark phytochrome signaling is necessary for the emission of terpenes in tobacco plants (Roeder et al., 2007). Based on previous findings, we hypothesized that a lack of red light and phytochrome-mediated light/dark signaling on the part of the plant is responsible for an increase in terpene content in cannabis. The plant continues to synthesize terpenes, but a lack of red light to trigger the Pr-Pfr shift results in a lack of terpene emission by the plant, thus causing the terpenes to accumulate in the maturing flowers. Sound waves at 1 kHz and 100 dB for 1 h within a distance of 0.20 m could significantly promote the division and cell wall fluidity of callus cells and also significantly enhance the activity of protective enzymes and endogenous hormones. Sound waves stimulation could increase the plant plasma-membrane H+-ATPase activity, the contents of soluble sugar, soluble protein, and amylase activity of callus. Moreover, sound waves could increase the content of RNA and the level of transcription. Stress-induced genes could switch on under sound stimulation. Sound waves at 0.1–1 kHz and SPL of (70±5) dB for 3 h from plant acoustic frequency technology (PAFT) generator within a distance ranged from 30 to 60 m every other day significantly increased the yield of sweet pepper, cucumber and tomato by 30.05, 37.1 and 13.2%, respectively. Furthermore, the yield of lettuce, spinach, cotton, rice, and wheat were increased by 19.6, 22.7, 11.4, 5.7, and 17.0%, respectively. Sound waves may also strengthen plant immune systems. It has been proved that spider mite, aphids, gray mold, late blight and virus disease of tomatoes in the greenhouses decreased by 6.0, 8.0, 9.0, 11.0, and 8.0%, respectively, and the sheath blight of rice was reduced by 50%. So this is the last week before harvest, the trichomes are gettin milky and this time i will cut a little bit earlier. It is rainy and humid outside, it's good to finish now. Gave her Flash Clean for 3 days now, flushing. in 3 days the reservoir will be empty and the last 3 days she wont get any water . Set the PPFD to 600 to save the terpenes. After some start problems she turned out better, my first time in Autopots and pure coco. A lot of buds, i think 180 Dry. The top are already smokeable, i did a partial harvest. This grow is more around the 9 and a half week stage I’ve chopped her a few days earlier than I’d liked but she was ready with plenty of amber trichomes to be seen. I never had much hope for this girl she was just a last minute idea, I’ve also used 4 year old soil from previous grows as an experiment ..this has been a cheap run and will still be a flavoursome smoke! This strain is sooo resilient I put her through hell and she still rewarded me! (Not the greatest yield but decent) Bad quality camera just in time for harvest typical but yeah she really took off after some topping and gave me some nice heads! I’m getting a fruity biscuit sort of smell out of her she smells amazing! Will update this post in 10 days dry

Lo demás de 10 pegada heavy sabor increíble, cogollos duros como rocas y bañados de una gran capa de polen. El ambiente del secado se mantuvo en 23 grados de media y la humedad estuvo por debajo de los 45% en todo momento. Poco más la verdad estuve encantado de poder cultivar una genética tan potente . After long period, i decide to post the last update of my genetic test, im very exited about the harvest, all the plants grow up very well specially the Blue dream, the kraken (very big and huge buds) and the critical, all smell different, 4 of all suffer cause the trasplant and dont grow so much, but have severall different genetics in one tent arent very simple, and im very happy to see the results. In 2, maximum 4 week i will cut all the plant, and i give a smoke report. Sweet smoke guys.

Well i was defoliating then i noticed some tiny buds on the bottom so i snipped them off aswell dried them and had a little pre-harvest smoke and now i really cant wait for the real thing its about 6-11 days if my timing is correct. 😄😁😆

Its been an amazing week, now i can understand why Carl Linneus was amazed about this miracle of blooming 🌸 Flowers are starting to grow everywhere, smell isn’t a big deal yet but my girls are just super beautiful 🤩 Colouring is homogeneous ☘️, only a single-couple of leaves showing a bit of nutrient deficiency/excess Critical is becoming literally twice the size of the cookies growing laterally but cookie’s branches are fatter, stronger and harder 💪🏼 Its been a long way but im proud of myself, very pleasant experience, its my first indoor grow and its almost scary how much i have learned ✍️🏼 LST shows an amazing structure and definitely not training your plant its the biggest mistake you can make 🏋️‍♂️ Unintentionally i applied a light cropping and the branches made the bulbs expected, don’t really know if it will show any gains

bueno ya queda poco para cortar, la verdad esto fue un experimento, he conseguido cultivar la planta con apenas 4 leds que son de los ojos de buey que venden el cualquier super y animo a la gente que prueve cosas, el resultado parece ser bueno con las automaticas, yo estoy contento.

Día 27 (12/02) Sigo con los ajustes de LST, pero voy a empezar a dejar que la planta se empiece a estirar Día 28 (13/02) Hago una ligera defoliación (2 hojas por planta) para mejorar la luz sobre las ramas laterales que están creciendo verticalmente Día 30 (15/02). Riego 1 Litro H20 + Wholly Base 1,5 ml/l + Solid Green 1 ml/l + Rise Up 1,25 ml/l de Gen1:11 TDS 880 PPMs - pH 6,6 (ajuste con pH+ para subirlo desde 6,2 y buscar mejor biodisponibilidad del Calcio) DÍA 32 (17/02) Ajustes de LST. Day 14 flower: Hinall . hope we are still green and mean. This week has been an interesting one for both girls. Mimosa Lemon has stretch really well so far and inthinknhas slowed up now so I needed to work on her bushy appearance for light penetration and airflow. When digging into her, I found so much growth to decide onbi was shocked. The side branching was so productive and had tips everywhere. I took the small lower growth out to give her more energy for the mains to use and did notice the wide node lengths like a sativa grows. I will keep pulling her down so she doesn't get too tall and when I grow one in the future , I will train her very early and scrub up during that time. Glueberry has been a learning curve on watering. for the past week or so I have been assuming her ill health was over watering so held off a few feeds. seeing her worsen was a mystery but when I moved the pots around following harvesting one plant and felt how light she was. her position meant I had not been able to feel her weight before. After a drench watering and a few days , she is recovering great now thankfully. I am having a minor fungus gnat issue which I am in process of dealing with. it is shocking the amount on the sticky cards already yet I didnt notice more than a few flying around. horrible little beasts. Not a bad week now the issue is dealt with hopefully. Until next time growmies be safe and well
