Little defoliation while changing the nutrient solution ✂️💉

Not sure about the pin down technique, although I will carry on until flowering. It definitely requires more practice. Seems like the plant is willing to live, and the thing is I have only 3 months until my holiday, so there is no time to start over with an another grow. The genetics in this one isn't the best in my opinion, one stem grows really odd leaves. I will wait a bit more and if the strange shaped leaves are keeping growing, then I will have to cut off that branch.

Week 6 Summary: First off, Happy New Year!! Ciao 2018, may 2019 be filled with peace, love, joy and dank buds 😄😉 Day 36-39: Started off nice well this week, considering the amount of defoliation I did on day 35. Some more stretching going on here but not too much, except 4AM3 has a central shoot I couldn't find a spot to LST that just started to shoot right up lol. Starting to show some nice frost on Day 36 too. 4AM2 is already starting to plump up a bit, don't think will get much more stretch on that one, seems like it will probably harvest the least. I might have overdone the defoliation on it on Day 35 lol. 4AM2 is the one I decided to top for the hell of it anyway because it had a really wierd growth mutation. Still, with less main tops to produce it might be the best bud of them all 😅 Day 37-42: Day 37 is when I started seeing a deficiency I thought might have been magnesium on 4AM1. Pictures to show up top. Since their next feeding wasn't scheduled until day 42 I waited. Day 38 and it had spread a little on the same plant, and typical calmag deficiencies started slowly showing up on a few other plants(really tiny amounts). I posted on reddit and pretty much confirmed my suspiscion of a calmag deficiency. Since I am watering twice a week, once with calmag ph'd to 6.8-6,9 and once with blume nutes ph'd at 6.3-6,5. The calmag feeding was done on day 42( as scheduled at full strength this time so hopefully the problem will go away. 4AM2 hasn't been watered yet, pot didn't feel completely light yet(plus she had the most runoff last feed), will get her dose tomorrow. P.S. Really starting to smell like sweet berries! Mmm.. 😍 On to week 7!

Opium week 16 7/22-28 This week has been rainy so the outside girls only got watered and fed once. with all the rain we've had, all the girls grew a bit. I top dressed all girls with Bloomin Soil from Elm Dirt. Photo Opium is now 75 inches and stacking nicely. Happy girl means happy mom.

*****Week 9 - September 14 to 20, 2020 - Days 57 to 63 from germination****** They were feeding well this week and took the higher more consistent amount of nutes well this week. Had to make a decision at the end of the week and I took out the small full spectrum light to put in the photo tent. They are in flower now and I held off as long as I can. These girls are closer to the end and I will keep the intensity focussed on LAK3 and GSC and let the other two live in the shadows and ripen😎 Not my first choice but everything is a trade off in life unfortunately☹️ Not an issue outdoor growers deal with👍 Little more detail: Sept 14/20 - Day 57 - Massive @ 3ml, Terpinator @ 2ml, Vitathrive & Liquid Weight & Rezin & Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml - 1,000ppm and 5.8pH - Feed for only LAK1......other girls area going to dry out another night. If any issues are identified, it's a lot easier to cure them when they are spotted early! 8/6- We finally have some much needed rain on the way in the way of a tropical system which will be bringing on and off showers beginning tomorrow through the 9th. As a result of this gift from above I will not have to water the rest of this week! 8/8- Well there's three full weeks in flower for the GG4 Sherbet FF and she's continuing on course to be another epic result from FastBuds genetics! Harvest day 63 since time switch to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) Finally it's time 💚 The lady is done the large leaves have been removed and hung upside down to dry in the dark drying room. You can now stay there for 13-15 days at a temperature of 16-18 degrees and 55-59% humidity. After 13-15 days it is neatly trimmed by hand and placed in jars with boveda packs 62. After 4 weeks Boveda 58% come in and are ready for testing ;-). After everything has been cut cleanly, the last update comes with the smoke report and the finished pictures. Let's get to the plant 💚. Unfortunately, the rating system at Growdiaries is a bit strange because I have to give the stars before the Smoke Report and in the end it might have led to more stars in terms of taste. . Everything is still alive thankfully and smells fuckin tremendous. The pictures were taken on day 49 or 50. I'll probly start flushing some of them over the next week the citradellic are lookin close. They kinda all look close even tho I expected some 70 dayers with the mostly sativa crosses but I gotta get in there and check the trichs. Didnt get enough nug shots of this one, if your interested come back friday and I'll get some more on the next feed.

This was a fun week, the plants got their first feeding from the TripTonic line of nutrients. I did a light feeding and then had to readjust as the EC was a bit low considering the size of the plants. The runoff was a bit high and this maybe because of all the left over from the pro mix slow release, thought it would have been used up by now. They will get the same water as the rest of the plants on the deck for the remainder of the week. I don't know if the PH will get out of wack because of this, but given that it is mainly peat and it tends to be acidic I think I'm in the clear. The little video was fun to splice together too. Got a little package in the mail from a fellow grower. @GottaGrowSometime has shared some of their Fast Buds winnings and sent me some green crack cbd 1:1 and cbd 20:1, they also threw in seed of the cherry coke and a few extras. This is going to help me test out their CBD lineup and see if its worth growing out. Big shoutout to them for being a great community member. In return I will be sending them some of my backcrossed Dinamed CBD Kush Autoflower seeds I made, the testing is going well so best to see what it can do in other growers hands.

Got the girls in some bigger pots, avoided waiting a few extra days of transplant shock with some mycorrhiza. They seems to be way happier now! They got a little stressed out from that one week it was getting into the 90s but I think they will bounce back just fine. Until next time growmeis. Peace. 06/12/23

Girls are doing great! Tent is very stinky inside. Started watering with 6 gallons now. So 1 gallon per plant with full strength nutes. They seem to want water about every other day. Temps have gone up a little. I had to install a dehumidifier. Also added a large metal 20" fan to counteract the heat from dehumidifier. Averaging around 88 f and 50%RH. About the best I can do without getting an A/C unit. I'm pulling out dead leaves under the bottoms. Still tucking in fan leaves daily to expose buds to maximum light. The buds are getting very sticky and frosty. Had to break out the box of rubber gloves. Or else have sticky fingers with a lingering odor of fantastic. This grow has been fun and looks like a decent possible yield for a noobie. These pics are day 28 and 29 of flowering.

Doubled her height this week! Now she's 13cm tall. She was repotted a day short of 3 weeks into a 20 litre airpot with fresh compost that has been flushed. I had concerns about her being rootbound.... In reality she was far from it, could have gone easily another week. On she goes!

12/30: I fed all but the big Starcandy...she got flushed with 8 gallons of warm water and LiquidSoil

Destiny has given me a wonderful climate so far but from the 18th the weather will change completely, precisely in the last 10 days of flowering which fortunately is very accelerated by the anomalous heat, especially at night. Typical late summer weather here, kinda for weed. First storm is expected on Saturday, I'm ready to protect them. I've made the last rearrangement of the tent, trying to give more room to the vigorous and overflowing Pineapple Kush so I've rised the roof to 110". The plants are all carefully sprayed with thyme extract to control mites infection, it seems to work, infection is stable from 1 week. I kill manually 20/30 bedbugs a day. During nighttime, maybe a monster grasshopper, is munching some leaves, at this point I don't care, I have to defoliate anyway and these bastards don't chew buds, for now. Buds are filling very well, super sticky and frosty but looking at sister's buds is clear that Royal Gorilla will not produce giant buds (except the twin buds) . Strong citron/berry scent. I have to be very careful not to touch her because she is sticky like a fly trap and not to shake her because the smell can be heard from 100 meters away. Expected harvest September 3rd/4th week.
