53th day of flowering. A good finish also for this fast-flowering strain. A strain that I particularly like. The buds are well formed and begin to thicken. The smell, so recognizable among all, is super strong. No doubt it's Skunk ; )

Liebe Leute, Die Woche 8 ist im vollen Gange!!! Ich habe mir heute die Mühe gemacht und das Vorschaltgerät der Hauptlampe aufs Dach mit einem Blech zum Schutz gelegt, damit die Temperatur etwas runter geht! Ich habe jetzt für die letzten Wochen die Lampe nochmal auf volle Power gedreht und hoffe, das ich jetzt bei den Außentemperaturen bei nicht mehr als 29 Grad Celsius im Zelt Lande. Die GG#4 und Purple Haze, haben den Düngeschock gut verkraftet und gehen top in die letzten Wochen der Blüte. Leider hat es die Lemon Skunk (Red No.2) etwas erwischt, aber sie müsste es auch bis zum Ende durchhalten. Die Trichome sind noch klar und warten nur noch darauf zum Höhepunkt zu kommen. Ich ernte aus Erfahrung wegen der Wirkung bei ca. 10% Bernstein. Also die nächsten zwei Wochen Augen ganz weit auf und die Lupe aus der Hose kramen. So, this is my first grow, just starting out. After NJ passed recreational weed, I was like you know what... Went on an amazon spending spree and got some seeds from cropkingseeds and this is it! I let the seeds soak for 18hr in deer park spring water w/ 1 drop of Organic Liquid Seaweed and Kelp Fertilizer Supplement by Bloom City. At the end of soakage, it didn't look like any had cracked maybe one did not so sure. So I did up the papertowels according to the video and have to say I feel a little nervous/anxious that there is too much water/weight on the seeds and feer drownage. I'm going to keep it on there though. I check the towels a few times throughout the day and am surprised they're very moist throughout the day and next morning still somewhat damp. 24 hours in the towels I check my babies and one had cracked but the rest were still sealed up tight, unwilling to share the goodness that we all so desire, cmon babies crack that shell for papa! 11/12 looked like 1 seed popped, yay! I remoistened towels a bit but didn't wanna soak them. I also put some rapid rooters in water to soak overnight gunna throw the seeds in them in AM... I was going to do it tonight but figured I should wait see if some pop out more. 11/13 OMG upon checking seeds at 07:10 I found the papertowels like bone dry OMG WTF!!! Panic sets in but I just set up the little terrarium with 6 plugs and put the seeds in and tore some plugs off bottom of a plug to cover seedhole with. 11/14 Got a sprout! YES!! The plugs look nice and moist just going to let it go! 11/15 Woke up this mornin, saw a new sprout peeking thru and then another about to! I got ansy and took off the little top plugs and found all the sprouts were coming up! Leaving the top plug off, hopefully thats not a bad idea.

The statistics on Frostbanger indicate 50-day flower. Pics show mostly clear and milky. There are a few with amber trichs and many orange pistils indicating maturation. At least 3 more weeks for maturity on these gals. I continue manual control of the environment and using 3 circulating fans and the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. It looks like growth has stopped and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All 6 of them are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. #4, 5 &6 are showing some fade, particularly #4. Upon opening the tent, a melon smell comes off the buds if I get close, and more stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. They are living up to the new strain’s name. #5 is the frostiest followed by #2. Wow week 3 of flower and that much frost already. So. From the early beginning, this plant was my favourite. So she didn't dissapoint me. If we remember that fact that for last 3 weeks i was taking some every day, overall outcome was still very good. the high is amazing, and the smell is 'something'. I would recommend this strain to everyone if you are thinking to get one.

Not much has happened since last update 2 weeks ago (expect growth obviously). She is growing well and with ease. Only problem was that one branch snapped a little bit. Had to support it to another branch with binding thread. No visible damage other than the slightly snapped branch. Happy growing everyone

Week 7 let's go ! Day 152 - 04/11 : The plant symptoms have seemed to slow down. The soil is also starting to dry out a bit more which might have been a problem. Day 155 - 07/11 : She was flushed in the morning with about 4L of water and 2L of a 30% strength microbial+trichoderma tea to innocculate the soil in case the microlife took a hit. The run off was 1L. I also switched the 400W MH for a 400W HPS to finish off with a little extra boost of light + different spectrum and see if it makes any differences. The light were moved up by approximately 20-30cm. They are now at about 70cm from the plant. I wondered if the light were maybe too close and caused all those strange symptoms. Let's see if there is any change in their behaviour. Day 156 - 08/11 : It seems the plant is a lot happier. It has only been a day but I feel like she is fattening up faster suddenly. Or it could be that she has recovered from the slight chock from a few days ago. Day 158 - 10/11 : Yep she is definitely happy again. I am convinced it was the light or at least it was part of the problem, I am seeing a lot of growth all of a sudden, on all plants and not just this one. Trichome are up, pistilles are up, calyxes swelling, everything is running smooth again. She is looking ready already, from a bud general appearance I could almost harvest now, but the trichomes are still mostly clear and I have a feeling she has a little more in her. I suspect the reason for such large amount of already brown trichomes might have been the light excess they went through.

Hello fellow growers, As expected, the real work in the garden began this week. It started with transplanting the girls into the 25 liter bed. This will be there final residence. Apperently they didnt feel comfortable in the smaller pot. For this we used Plagron light mix with perlite that we sprinkled with a lot of Mycotrex. Mixed into the soil and put 5 grams to the planting whole as well.🍄 I didn't want to cause them any more stress even though I wanted to stop the upward growth as soon as possible. So waited 2 days after transplantation before we started with the trainings. On day 26 topped the girls and began with LST. Vertical growth really had to be stopped because they grew huge in 2 weeks. Obviously our task now will be to teach them to invest their energies in the growth on the side branches.👨‍🌾🏻🌱 Watered twice this week with the above mentioned nutrients.💦 Changed the light for the Ts3000 which is on 45% intensity at the moment. This means 600 PPFD at the top of the plants. Will keep this in the whole veg period. Since I have the PAR meter, my work is much easier when it comes to set the light to the desired height. It's worth investing in a cheaper model imo. Did not really defoliated, just took off a few big fan leaves. I just got from these CO2 tablets which you can add to the water but I don’t really know if it will work or will the plants benefit from it? Hope everyone has a great weekend. week intel: we are going through slowly stresses : just a little E.C stress around 1.4 once a week feeding: i feed them 3 times this week with this order : day 1 : i feed them heavy with silicate +base nutrients(calcium & micros + Bloom) about 700 ppm - 1.4 e.c to cause a little stress. day 3 : i feed them low dose of Feeding Booster around 327 ppm - 0.64 e.c to let them recover a little but not fully recover still a little stress will caused. day 5 : i feed them with low dose of Top-Max + B-52 around 255 ppm - 0.5 e.c to let them recover the stresses to get ready for another stress next week. guide of the week : know your plant tolerance limit of E.C stress once you saw the very very little yellowing on tips of leaves , that's the sign to don't go further , never reach that limit if you want a high quality buds, in my case tolerance is 1.4 and i'll reach to that level only once a week to cause precision stress , love your plants and have a happy growing!
