New strain never Ive never grown before

Fat Banana doubles in size this week and starts to develop some true leaves. Taken out of the humidity dome & moved a lot closer to the CFL now, roughly 4-5 inches. Roots looking healthy and developing nicely, will be transplanting in the coming week to a slightly larger pot when I'll also introduce some 1/4 strength veg nutes.

Doing well, flipped to flower, looking forward to watching her fill up the 3x3. She's a heavy feeder so I'll need to stay ahead of that.

Day 55 of flower. The Light Spektrum has been Modified. I kill switched the blue Spektrum. In previous Grows it helps to increase the trichom productivity and faster maturity. But warning! I ve the pheno with the hard buds and slow growing but heavy earthy and INDICA lasting one! WITH THE HARD STEELBUDS YES, HAPPY!! Fruity smell is like zkittlez, but with an heavy earthy tone. Still not many Amber trichoms. But Hey we are in FLOWERWEEK 9!!! And 8-10 weeks the Breeder said. Did a defoliation cause prepare to harvest soon. And to get to the lowest benches some light, so they get harder. Trichome check says. WAIT! Gave water ph 6,5. Trichomes re mostly foggy. Still some clear Trichomes. AMBER ist not so much. Only 2x struggling.. Ill give them this week to recover-then ill be using that space for the new critical orange punch auto & 3 watermelon zkittlez auto barney's farm.. Anyways all buckets water was replace with fresh h2o & nutes before 9AM. Took off some branches & leaves.... Things are generally going ok. I’m going to reduce the bio grow next week as it’s looking a little over fed. Other than that the plant has been fairly responsive. I defoliated and removed the rest of the lower growth I wanted to, it seemed to slow things down, although its starting to stretch a little now..

Day 15 - Gave the girls 500ml of plain RO at 6.3(ish) PH. Watered in a ring around 'em to encourage the roots to spread out. Day 16 - Didn't do anything today just monitoring grow environment Temp, RH, Leaf Temp, VPD etc. Day 17 - Waterred 'em down again, 500ml plain RO at ~ 5.9 PH. Days 18 &19 - Nothing done, just monitoring the grow environment Temp, RH, Leaf Temp, VPD, etc. Day 20 - Waterred 'em down with around 700ml plain RO at ~ 6.1 PH. Day 21 - Didn't do anything today just monitoring grow environment Temp, RH, Leaf Temp, VPD etc. Notes: I'm starting an Arduino project that automatically waters the plants based on the soil moisture and will calculate weekly water consumption. I already have one setup that does all of that and has a water level indicator that alerts me when the water level is low. 10 week harvest in the end - diary skipped a good week. Lots of trimming, very sticky buds - finally broke my trusty trimming scissors, handle just fell apart. I'll miss them :(

Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!

Green Crack is wack!! Both ladies got the chop and are drying now. Both packed on considerable size during their last week, hopefully it translates to higher dry weight. Will update in 7-10 days with dry weight and smoke report.

Now we are in week 8. Plants stopped growing. I will let them grow two more weeks and then I will at least harvest two of them. Depending on the trichomes I will keep the other two for 4-5 weeks more, because I will be away ... traveling lets hope that the sun is coming out again and that the buds get bigger and bigger in the last two weeks. BTW I stopped giving any type of nutrients, just water.
