🇺🇸 Week 7 - Grow Journal of Mother Gorilla (Royal Queen Seeds) 🇺🇸 On the Way Back to Full Strength! After two tough weeks with overfeeding and water stress, I’m finally happy to see my plant bouncing back. The roots had taken a hit, and last week, I noticed my filter was way more clogged than usual. I believe the dead roots were broken down and flushed out, most likely thanks to Cannazym. I added it specifically to help decompose the damaged roots, and it seems to have done its job. Today, I checked the roots and saw that they have stopped browning and are beginning to return to a more normal color. They were previously quite dark, but now they’re showing signs of improvement. The root mass hasn’t regained volume yet, but I think it’s still eliminating waste. It’ll be interesting to see if more debris accumulates in the filter or if it remains clean from now on. Another great sign: my nutrient solution level has dropped, meaning the plant is feeding properly again. At the same time, my EC has decreased, confirming that it’s actively absorbing nutrients. This recovery is also visible in the canopy: it has become denser, allowing me to slightly top some central shoots that were growing past the screen and to continue working on the SCROG. The only minor issue this week was pH fluctuation. Over the weekend, it rose to 6.6, but I recalibrated it to 5.9 today. I suspect this is due to the plant still shedding dead roots, which could be affecting its balance. Either way, I’ll be changing the nutrient solution soon, which should stabilize things further. J’en conclus que les racines mortes ont été détruites et évacuées, sûrement grâce au Cannazym. J’avais ajouté ce produit pour faciliter la décomposition des racines abîmées, et cela semble avoir bien fonctionné. Aujourd’hui, en observant les racines, j’ai constaté qu’elles ont arrêté de brunir et qu’elles commencent à retrouver une couleur normale. Elles étaient auparavant bien sombres, mais leur état s’améliore nettement. Pour l’instant, la masse racinaire n’a pas encore repris en volume, mais je pense qu’elle élimine encore des déchets. Очень высокие растения, все место занято, а они все растут и растут хотя должны уже расти не вверх а в ширь :) Ожидаю что растения наконец начнут набирать массу :) одна девочка лидирует, остальные пока отстают. Высота растений 1 метр, кроме одной малютки которую пришлось поставить на ведро что бы солнышка больше доходило. Поставил угольный фильтр и он работает на ура, запаха нет, только в самой комнате

Day 35 is here. We are a week into flower and most the plants are just starting to hit that flowering stretch. I have been bending them down a little every couple days, but I need to focus on cleaning up some of the bottom branches so we can keep good air flow through the plants. Will work on that through this next week. I haven't done a water change, just been topping off the reservoir with fresh nutrients as they drink it up. Feeding half and half maxigro and maxibloom. Will cut out the maxigro in a couple weeks when I notice their stretch slowing down. I had a plant overflow this week because the drain line is getting full of roots. I noticed a couple roots have made their way into the reservoir already. I set a pump timer to 1 minute on and 20 minutes off so they can drain properly. I would like to make it through the grow without having to mess with the drains, but we will see what happens. I will make some modifications if needed. Other than that everything is running smooth and I hope we have some little pistils to show by next week. Thanks for stopping by ✌️

As always it's just a pleasure to grow this sativa dominant strain which definitely reminds me of a great indica with her extremely fruity and tropical sweet terpenes, very happy to have her in my garden and to be able to smoke such a high quality strain once again, hope you guys have enjoyed as much as me!

Day 73, 25th of November 2020: Hi! Well they are getting nice maturing buds getting bigger and all good. I love the red colour of the Red Hot Cookies. Unfortunately, Tropicanna Poison and Red Mandarnine does not show any signs of purple or red colour. Kalini Asia neither albeit, the bonsai version gets purple. Gelato is little beauty. So yes, basically not much to say. Fertilization is still the same every second day with the ratio and mixture above stated. The lamp is on 11.15 min and off 12.45 min. Last week was 15 min longer light cycle.... So every week 15 min shorter light cycle until the 5th week. So far -45 min. It switches on at 6 am and off at 17.15 pm.

Hola mosquitos. 14.5 Week has pass and these girls like to grow. Spare is couple days late for a reason. I think i wait maybe week more or when ever spare is ready to be topped and top it first and others couple days later. If others are growing main tops while spare can grow those 4 branches couple days it might catch others. Never tried so dont know does it works. Lets see how it go. Purple Nutz is biggest still 💪 16.5 couldnt keep my hands and do just opposite than planned. Topped all others but not spare. I left 6 branches for each of those three so i can choose the best 4 of them. But NO. Purple nutz have skipped one shoot so it goes with 4 first. Second ones are thick and growing huge. Might be polyploids A.K.A leafy fuckers. Green is just normal. Only that has those 6 branches. Edge had 1 shitty and 1 abnormal branch at those first ones so those get cut and lives now with 4 branches. Spare still untouched. Somekind of issues on leaves. Lets see in couple days if its ready for topping. Didnt graft these to trunkenstein cause doesnt know how good it works. Took just clones and maybe next try go with 4 x clones from the best one in this grow. 18.5 topped spare and cut 2 extra branches from Green. Roots look great. Branches starting to take their places. Purple nuts is crazy. Those 2 abnormsl branches growing huge 🙏 cuttings all lookkng great. Purple Nutz branch is growing 5 nodes instead of 2. Crazy Girl. With High Hopes 🍀

Smaller plant, most likely due to space. Big visible trichomes, buds forming good, just a smaller stature. It is however a trichome machine! Fan leaves, leaf stem, the branches, it's crazy. Never seen this.

Last few weeks have been fantastic and I can't wait to see how they all respond to the first big stress event. Topping any sites that are at canopy while letting the rest develop but keeping the best 6 primaries and keeping it nice and simple. 3/9 ok so I kept more than 6 on these, I think there's one of them that has 7 but the rest all have 8-9 main branches, if they were within 3-5" of the top of the canopy I just kept them, that much variation will even itself out with just some slight bending. 3/12: So I've topped all primaries once now, should be 14-18 new tops on all of these, I'm hoping to top again next week assuming they can keep growing 1" per day, that should give me an excellent structure for a big fat canopy in the flower room.

Se hizo una pequeña defoliación de las hojas abanico más bajas y se volvió a ajustar el LST, ya van tomando la forma final. Veg23, creciendo bien. Veg24, se mide la temperatura de las hojas 22°C y se compara con la temperatura del indoor 23°C, con una humedad de 50% RH, la calculadora arroja un valor de VPD=1.24 kpa, lo que está dentro del rango óptimo. Veg25, hoy toca una pequeña defoliación y probaré también hacer un último apical en 2 o 3 plantas a modo de prueba. Al final, tomé un gran riesgo, y hice varios apicales extra y una defoliación más grande de lo que tenía en mente, tengo fe que resultará bien 😎👌 Veg27, riego con 0.8 EC y pH 6.0, drenaje de 6.0 pH y EC 2.0, se están alimentando y creciendo bien, quedan casi 2 semanas para pasar el fotoperiodo a 12/12, espero que crezcan suficiente para esa fecha. Veg28, un par de hojas de 2 plantas presentan mordidas tipo oruga, revise y no encontré nada, aplique spray insecticida, espero no siga pasando. A parte de eso siguen creciendo bien, quedan un poco más de 10 días para el paso a 12/12.

Very fun strain to grow. Easy to train and love to get big. We had 2 different expressions on the plants and both where very pleasing. Both plants grew vigorously and provided me with just over 3/4 pound of dry medicine!

Finally got the RDWC system complete and the girls are in and under the LEDs. Started with the LED light elevated higher than recommended; didn't want to cause light burn. About mid week I bumped the TDS up to 350 and lowered the light elevation to 18 inches and they responded very well.
