Hi Growmies, I'm excited to share some big news today! Although there have been some unexpected twists, it's all part of the incredible journey of gardening. I've just completed the harvest, a tad earlier than initially planned, due to finding a bit of mold in one of the buds. Despite this minor hiccup, the trichomes were already at a decent 10% to 15% amber. So, all things considered, the timing ended up being pretty spot-on. The harvested weight was a solid 609 grams after trimming, which is quite a feat! A lesson learned for next time: perhaps I let her grow a few too many buds, leading to a denser canopy than ideal. But on the bright side, the aroma is absolutely divine. I sampled an airy bud that had dried a bit, and wow, it packs a stronger punch than its clone mother. And the flavor? Pure, unadulterated cheese – no hint of pineapple here! Now, the anticipation builds for the final dry weight, which I should know in about 3-4 days. It's always exciting to see the fruits of our labor fully realized. A huge thanks to everyone who's been following along on this journey. Your interest and support mean the world. OMG! Miss Gorilla was showing her strength this week and grew a whopping 9 inches this week. The sun is shining and she is drinking 1 gallon of nutrients a day. @Fastbuds website says, "Plant Appearance This lady likes to stay low and will usually grow to a height of 60-130cm. Her growth structure is short and bushy, thanks to her sativa dominance, and will grow one main central cola, with fat side branches all around. Once flowering starts, expect Gorilla Auto to fill out thick and fast, as she begins to pack on size, weight and go crazy with the trichome output. From seed to harvest she is ready in 9-10 weeks, where she will finish with a short and fat appearance." So far, Miss Gorilla is keeping up to her description. I took a magnified picture and it shows me that Miss Gorilla will probably be in flower next week. It looks like she is in the beginning stages of flower. @Fastbuds website said to, "add support around this strain, to help the side branches during the flowering stage" which I have done by LST with her side branchs. I have tied them down to allow light in and support growth. I am feeding her 1 gallon on nutrients a day right now and @Fastbuds website said, She can take a big feed especially during week 3 and onwards." So, I am on target with that information. I also have a pool umbrella protecting all of my plants from the direct sun. As always, please comment and let me know what you think of Miss Gorilla.

First week of life watering with pH 6.0 water. waiting for the cotyledons to begin to indicate that they are running out of nutritional reserves to start fertigation . Which will be with the plantProd MJ line. 100% mineral high frequency fertigation.

Allright... starting today (20-12-2021) as day 1. 9 ladies in a whole new setup (see germination week). All looking great, curious about the performance of this setup and the lights in particular. Let's have some fun. 21-12-2021: First 12 hours of light was on the ladies @600Watt. Measured some PAR values to calculate current DLI. Average DLI: 61.7 mol/m2d, Peak DLI: 84.9 mol/m2d, PAR: Average: 1404, Peak: 1989 So it could be a little less😆 Will raise CO2 level next week when first nodes are there. I guess I start with 1000 ppm and raise it with 100 every week. 23-12-2021: Great... all still alive.. Put power down on the lights a bit because a DLI of 50 is a bit on the high side for seedlings I believe. Noticed a huge drop of PH so added some fresh water and will reevaluate tonight. My guess is that the buckets are finally full with water and so the older water is flushing through now. If I am right I should not see a PH drop tonight. If I am not right I will raise the irrigation frequency. 26-12-2021: The PH problem is solved... my PH- bottle seal was leaking😡. 7 days old now.... I believe they look fine. Raised the power of the lights again to see how temperature will hold. Total power now is 950W (just for a few hours to monitor the temperature).

Over all was an amazing grow, super sticky dense nugs with smell of berries, highly recommended for everyone!!

This week has been a good one! Not too much more stretch just simply filling up both the spaces with foliage and swollen buds! I’m now watering 6L every 3 days and she’s soaking it all up! Will feed strong for one more week then 2 weeks of flush :) Dehumidifier turned on and set at 40%, ambient air temp dropped to 23/24 day time and 18 with lights off, air flow changed up daily to really help her. Getting keen to harvest/cure/smoke and then put in the next round! 😊 I hope all my followers and readers are well and have great holidays! Keep growing, keep smoking and most of all keep smiling! .... Really good week but the work continues. The stretch is on. The 2 ladies on the extreme left has a proper stretch going on. It may be due to those are the girls I mainlined or it could be the blurple lights that both of them are under. Still removing some of the thick lower growth below the netting. its think but i remove just a little everynight for a gentle reduction in foliage. Not pictured here but on Day 12 white hairs were beginning to show. A few issues with high humidity during lights on or high heat when the dehumidifier is on. No strain specific smells as yet. Huge difference observed between the mainlined strains ( Orange Sherbert and Green Gelato) and the other LST strains in the tent. The stems of the mainlined strains tend to be fatter and there is a significant reduction on foliage on the mainlined strains. The LST strains (Blue Gelato 41 and the Vanilla Kush) are more bushy, squat with heavy foliage. Also not so much as a long stretch.

Another steady week of bud development. I haven't really done much with those apart from the occasional removal of yellow leaves and tucking nuisance leaves under the net. The plants are all still growing in line with the previous expectations, with Topping and LST being the biggest, Mainlined next and then LST only in last place. It will be interesting to see the results though. Should only be a few more weeks until harvest, as a large majority of trichomes are already milky.
