This week the plant, I think, has gone into lockout mode. Therefore I have flushed all nutrients, the pH was 6.5. Since then, I think everything has improved slightly. The leaves aren't turning crispy no more but yellow leaf is a concern and is spreading. I am thinking of giving it a nitrogen boost to help it.

Well I said I was leaving her untrained but on day 56 I gently tied back a few branches to open up the canopy. This is looking like it's going to be my best grow yet.

2/1 Week 12! Re-introducing the Peak PK in low dose as I begin to migrate the plant to all Peak and then flush I hope all in less than two weeks. Will step things daily, tomorrow it will be 10 ml CT 10 ml Peak with an eye on the ppm. You get the idea, she has to finish and fast. Valuable lesson, don't have anything ever backed up behind a sativa grow waiting on them to finish, it aint worth it. Grow em at the end of a cycle. 2/2 put the feed at 12ml CT 7ml Peak thought maybe its too much of a swing, tomorrow 10 and 10 2/3 10ml of each this morning. Got to move things along, new plan is to begin flush at start of new week this weekend, At flush changing lights to 12/12 , binding her back up just a little, then placing one of the testers on a stand in the tent to take pressure off the veg tent. 5-7 days later we harvest based on what we see. We cannot come up with anything better As far as growth she is doing great, its a heavy plant and the hairs are still straight and 95% white! Build so fast 2/4 All is well Tara really seems to like the 10-10 dose so leaving it for now. Changed light schedule to match the veg tent. This is to accommodate the near arrival of one of the photos. In a few days the plant will have to finish off at 12-12 so the photo can flip. Not ideal but practical from our point of view. Dont get plants like this everyday. 2/7 Ending the week with a full tent again Switched lights to 12-12 and bound her up to fit in half the tent, we literally could not come up with anything else for this. She just keeps going and going lol DRY WEIGHT ON RIPLEY! 261 grams Hoped for more but meh sativas. Still nothing to sneeze at 😇

I also used seaweed extract, a source for potash, n-p-k 0-0-17. In my first two harvet the bud on the tree smelled like cat box for litter. Granted this is an age old description for types of pot plant. But after adding a recmoended dose the plant smells nice after that. Can add as foliage spray but not in direct light. Some describe this nutrient as a stress relief for the plant. Also I switched from GAIA Power Bloom to Canna Flores. The sweet pepper took well to the Holland based nutrient brand. As for the Jr Mintz, there is actually a hint of mint , the edible tea leaf made a very tranquile hot beverage. And when smoking the dried bud the sessation delivers both head buzz and body buzz. Great for writers and authors who want to sit comfy in their writers chair and work all day by the rainy window.

Day 39 - Did a little defoliating today, I’m hoping it won’t stunt too much. Last two grows, I just let it go but seemed pretty crowded so want more light deeper. Day 40 - It appears the defoliation has really stunted her so will keep an eye on her. She’s starting to smell a bit fruity and I’m loving it. Day 41 - No major changes today, still looks and smells amazing. Day 42 - Looks and smells good still!

Had to do a root wash, again, also cut some really bad roots of, also saw lots of new healthy root growths since last week, upping ORP and wash last week seemed to have helped. Overall still very unhappy but that is on me, learned that prepping a plant in DWC and then transplant it to NFT is not a good idea, better do it as usual directly in NFT so that the roots follow the stream better, usually at this time there would be at least 3x the amount of roots. Also switched back to the 10cm diameter tube, will stick with that one from now on, very good experiences in the past and this one does not, maybe RH does not rise enough in a 16cm diameter tube. Also changed the light cycle to 18/6 from 24/0, in the timelapse I see phases where the leafs droop slightly and come back, kind of like the night cycle but less, seems to me like the plant wants to go to "sleep" even tough it was raised in 24/0 and I have good experiences with 18/6. the c99s got ten days of plain water then came the chop at week 10 and 3 days with a fairly decent 30% amber all things considered !

Day 74 (28/05/18) - 2 of the Girl scout cookies are looking very close to being finished and seeing all cloudy trichomes with a couple amber. I look for 80/20% ratio of cloudy/milky to amber trichomes for harvest as this gives the best medicinal effects from my experiences. Flushing the GSC and will be waiting for her to use up the remainder of her nutrients in the leaves before I chop, hopefully get a nice fade. One of the Stardawg girls isn't so far behind but being more sativa dominant, I expected that. May upload one picture of her and how she is getting on. The smell coming from the GSC is so potent and sweet. Hoping the smoke quality lives up to the smell. Not long to go now.
