Week 8, probably the last week of Veg , it will depends on how the main tops are gonna grow compared to the side shoots that are supposed to fill up the inner holes. If the plants redirect their energy in the shoots instead of the main tops I could be able to add another week of Veg , plants have been ScrOG’ed and shaped for this but after all they will decide by their own if they fill that the main tops are to low to catch the male pollen they will send the energy in the side shoots to get a chance to catch it ! Plants grows for only one purpose, to reproduce ! And the Cannabis has an maniac obsession to reproduce this is why it makes it so resilient ! And this why it gets twice bigger in just 2-3 weeks when it stretch. So, if you’re reading this my friends, you will understand that the time to prepare your girls for the stretch is now ! Starting to bump the feeding mix with some Veg nootz preparing them for the battle as they will use a lot of Nitrogen ! And for the ones who are just looking the pictures like if this diary was a comic book, they still won’t understand why their plants are getting yellow in middle of flowering when roots doesn’t absorb Nitrogen anymore as they will only concentrate on P-K (Mg/Sulfur) and getting doomed with no solution to fix it. Buds are bulking up and getting denser, looking nice and frosty. Had to tie a few branches as they were getting top heavy. No problem though they are going strong💪. Zkittles OG is standing out and has a nice structure I would definately recommend. Few more weeks then ripen and flush.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. good plants for hydro grows they dont stretch too much, buds need support because of the weight at the end. i run in a little calmag issue because i went overboard with the bloombooster around week 5. this caused a lockout top leaves got effected by this other then that i had a huge yield.

So frosty wow very nice looking plant so far very dark green and smells very sweet

Gorilla Zkittlez was a nice easy plant to grow. Coated in trichromes! Love the smell and taste. Probably one of the best tasting bud ive had. I give it a 8.5 all together. Once I get some more grows under my belt I’ll give it another shot and see if I can improve it.

Vamos familia, actualizo la séptima semana de floración de estas Royal Gorilla de RoyalQueenSeeds. Empiezan a estropearse un poco por el calor aunque se les ve sanas, están formándose las flores bastante bien. Y desprenden ya un aroma increíble. Alguna se adelantó en la floración intentaré cortarlas todas a la vez pero ya veremos cómo progresa. Adelantó desde ya que llevan lavado de erices y están solo agua este armario no aguantará mucho más. Hasta aquí todo bien el único suplicio que sufro son altas temperaturas por estar en pleno verano. Acabaré este proyecto y daremos parón unas semanas. Que avance algo más el verano. Máximas de 29 y mínimas de 27 ahora viene el calor y ando jodido en humedad ronda el 40%.
