She started out on a 19/5 light schedule but was switched to 12/12 at 2 weeks into flower as she was sharing a tent with my photo's which had to be flipped. I'm sure this affected her yield and I'll be running this cultivar again using 19/5 throughout the entire run which I'm sure will increase the end yield. I left her alone and didn't do any topping or LST on her throughout her run until she went into flower. Once flowering I only did minimal LST and let her go. She developed 9 or 10 big cola's that ended up looking like they were left outside on a frosty night! This girl took all the nutrients and light I could throw at her (up to 1800ppm and 1200 umol's) and never skipped a beat! Definitely one I'll run again as she's a fun one to cultivate, fast flowering and some potent ass buds! ended up with 78g of frosty flowers, 18g of 'sugar trim' and 1.5g of 'first bounce' sift...97.5g total, not too shabby! This strain's fantastic for pressing too! I have pressed two batches so far using only the smaller/lighter buds and have got 22-25% yields on both, and the end product is amazing!

Day 113 Flower 51 Remaining 20ish WOW the colas are getting just crazy but the branches are starting to lean too much for my liking so I'll have to deal with that ASAP! Been crazy busy this week so didnt get to chat much with the fam but I'll be back to routine this week. A few of the lower leaves have some color fade which startled me but i'm guessing is ok as were nearing the flush here. one leaf is really messed up that i cut off. in the pic u can see the messed up leaf but also an overhead shot shows where the yellowing is happening. Other then that I think things look great?!?! One cola is just friggin massive, specially for a 80% sativa. About a foot long and damn near pop can size. trying to think of anything I will need to buy for harvest. anything I might have not thought of? i'm gonna get a small mayb 2x2 tent for drying that I'll rig up with many poles running across so that would work. mayb an exhaust fan with carbon filter? or just an oscilating fan at the bottom with the top vents open and call it a day?? EDIT: WOW!!!! Today was the first time I've ever seen the true color. I was there ready right when the main light turns off waiting with the LED sunblaster to see and wow i'm just amazed how green and beautiful these ladies are!! I thought the cmh was off a little but i didnt realize they were so pretty!! You can easily tell which 4 pics are with the sunblaster light

What a week !!! This was an absolute pleasure to grow , I don't deal with alot of sativa dominant grows, so having something get this much height on one week was pretty cool to see !! This one is about 6 days from going into flower, she REALLY liked to be plucked !!! Not very often do plants take so well from losing their large fan leaves like this one did !!

It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. I decided to spend the weekend looking for a good Co2 generator setup. It was quite easy to get it running. All you need is two containers, tubing, yeast, sugar, and warm water. Now I'm just waiting to see how long it will last before I have to refill it. Here is a YouTube link with directions; https://youtu.be/Gxb_G3JAhso The plant on the left started to get too wide so I wrapped a bit of string around the two stems and brought them towards the inside of the plant. Then I tied it off on the hooks loosely so I can still adjust it. Just for good measure I raised the light a few more inches to keep it about a foot distance.

The development of these girls are a little after compared to the other plants in the tent. But still stretching 💪🏽😁

Hier sieht man immernoch: zu viel Wasser, das substrat war permanent feucht. Ich habe diesen Fehler in den darauffolgenden Wochen versucht zu beheben, indem weniger gegossen wurde.

The strain is not the biggest yielder but its quite promissimg,the smell is top and the effects are a very mellow creative smoke,tastes like sweets,will grow it again ✌️✌️
