SUMMARY: Switched up to Mid Bloom strength nutes this week. I have also started adding 1 tablespoon of organic blackstrap molasses per every 5L. Though some argue this is purely for use in soil to feed the bacteria there is argument that it also acts as a bloom booster due to its active ingredients. She is fattening up nicely though not many tops and so I need density from these. DAY 51 ------ Sunday 21st February 11:30 I made 5L of early bloom nutes at a pH of 5.8 and 5L of mid bloom nutes at a pH of 5.6, both made with tap water. Sunday 21st February 18:30 I fed the NL 1.2L of early bloom nutes which produced roughly 300ml runoff (25%). DAY 52 ------ Monday 22nd February 11:45 I made 5L of mid bloom nutes with rain water at a pH of 5.9. I am adding half a tablespoon of molasses to every 5L now by adding just enough boiling water to liquify the molasses and then pour it into the feed. Monday 22nd February 18:30 I fed the NL 1.4L of early bloom nutes with molasses which produced roughly 335ml runoff (24%). [22°C/55%] DAY 53 ------ Tuesday 23rd February 18:30 I fed the NL 1.4L of early bloom nutes which produced roughly 400ml runoff (29%). With the dehumidifier set to 50% RH it seems to keep it at around 50% RH though the temps between 25-30°C. If I turn the dehumidifier off the RH climbs to 60-64%. Removing more leaves will lower the humidity and I do pluck the odd one every day that is blocking light (I rotate the plants daily 25° per day to ensure all sides get a fair share of light). [25°C/50%] DAY 54 ------ Wednesday 24th February 18:30 I fed her 1.4L of early bloom nutes with molasses which produced 200ml runoff (10%). The temps have risen to 30°C due to the dehumidifier. It is currently set to 50% RH which keeps the temps around 28-30°C and the RH at around 38-40%. I have increased the setting to 65% to see if that helps lower the temp and increase the RH up to 45-50%. [30°C/40%] DAY 55 ------ Thursday 25th February 11:30 I made 10L of mid bloom nutes with rainwater and molasses (level tablespoon per 5L). 5L at a pH of 5.9 and 5L at a pH of 5.8 Thursday 25th February 18:30 I fed the NL 1.6L of mid bloom nutes which produced roughly 610ml runoff (38%%). [22°C/55%] DAY 56 ------ Friday 26th February 11:30 I made 10L of mid bloom nutes with rainwater and molasses (level tablespoon per 5L). 5L at a pH of 6.0 and 5L at a pH of 5.6. Friday 26th February 18:30 I fed the NL 1.4L of mid bloom nutes which produced roughly 420ml runoff (30%). My Jelly Rancher plant looks amazing. She is growing well, her leaves and stems look really good. She recovered from the transplant like nothing even happened. She also recovered very quickly from the topping. Just pretty much waiting to put her into flower as soon as I can.

Another Defoliation at the end of stretch this week for the Northern and she's now in full bud mode at end of Week 8. 3-4 left I think before the chop and she's just a happy monster. Day 27 and this girl is in her forever home which is a 4 gallon pot filled with pro mix... I took the two biggest fan leaves off today because they were blocking the bud sites I also second round of topping is complete.. she looked twice the size prior to taking those two leaves off but she's going to fill out nicely I just ordered from Amazon some 6-in pins so I could start pinning her down spreading her out and watching bush up..... Started putting on all of its weight in last 2 weeks. Dense triangular shaped buds. At Least 1-2 more weeks I think. I did a final light defoliation to expose the buds that weren't getting much light. Try to fatten up what I can before chopping. Happy with how it's come so far.. one more week before I begin flushing.

So, the nutrient lock is fixed, the humidity is under control, and these ladies are looking super vigorous. We will flip very soon as the stretch will fill out any holes in the SCROG net. We will also clear the bottom of these plants in the next day or 2, taking lots of clones and making sure we have that SOG. We have introduced some workers, 10 praying mantis to keep an eye on any pests.. the video of the mantis is from another grow, not the OG kush Light is about 70% ATM and i will turn up to 80% today, Spiderfarmer have kindly sponsored us with a Light controller, that arrives imminently and as soon as it does, it's week 1 of flowering and the light will go to 80% - then 90, then 100.... We have had serious rain here, the relative humidity outside is 90% and the temp is 31 degrees. We continue to feed with our own nutrient schedule. My Peach has once again taken an gigantic step towards her flowering stage. The constant training is a success, has made for a healthy looking growth. May 31st Everything is looking good after the LST from last week, I said I was going to swap them into flower and I realized that I should wait another week or so as they will be going into a new home so to speak. Updates coming next week for that. Doesn't look like to many PH issues anymore or whatever was happening but the plants seem a bit happier now June 1st I Figured today would be a good day to do a bit of defoliation on these girls in order to get some more light down to the newer growth. I didn't take a ton off as you can see, but for the size of the plant I suppose it was a decent amount. I read somewhere that a general rule of thumb is only defoliate roughly 30% of the plant at most. I'm not to sure if it is true but I tried to stay within that general rule. June 2nd, I decided since I would have them in veg for at least a little while long I would top them again. After topping I gave them some water and nutrients. I know I said I would do straight water for the next one but I went for it anyways as it seems the flowering mixture may be giving it some deficiency's. So I gave them the recommended feeding for heavy veg growth. I gave about 3L to the bigger plant and around 2L to the smaller plant (as it was still a bit moist but it wasn't damp). My crappy soil tester was saying my soil was at around 8PH so I figured I would aim to feed around 6ph. With the small amount of runoff from the smaller plant I did A PH test and the PH seemed to be around the 4.5-5ph area. My liquid ph meter arrived broken so I am waiting for the new one, therefore I am using the general hydroponics liquid test kit. I presume my soil ph is lower then the water I have given seeing as it went from 6ph water to around 4.5. Next feeding I will aim to feed at 7PH. With the defoliation I just made sure that the tie downs were decently tight still and moved what I thought needed to be moved. June 3rd,4th Not a ton to update on. I didn't get any pictures for these 2 days. June 5th Some obvious problems going on with the bigger plant. I am guessing it is the PH issue but I am still unsure. The one browned leaf I accidentally squished in the tie down while I was low stress training it so it got a bit damaged. Other then that the plants are growing decent. Im not sure why I didn't have more pictures for today but I mainly took problems of the problem areas. June 6th Not much going on still. They are still just hanging out not doing to much. It was a busy work week so pictures in general were a bit lazy. I will try to get more for the upcoming weeks. Big news for next week!
