Finally here !! After 3 days in a mix of lombricompost and black soil of demetheart the plants have stretched too much, the clone light is not bright enough, I'm going to move them!!

Woche über haben sich die Blüten weiter entwickelt. Die Trichome wurden mehr und man fängt an erste Terpene zu riechen. Wir haben Donnerstag (BT 2) stark entlaubt und schauen jetzt wie die Pflanzen wachsen. Papaya entwickelt die dicksten Buds bisher und allgemein ist sie der OG G.O.A.T

Plants are growing at full speed and still looking good, roots grew so fast it's already time for a new transplantation. This time I did repot into 15L fabric containers (by Gronest). Medium is still made of pure soil (LightMix by BioBizz) then enriched with GreenBuzLiquids nutrients.

FINAL WEEK OF VEG FINAL WEEK OF VEG! Ayyyye let’s gooooooo ! Got a second lollipop done on this girl about 2 or 3 days ago . I did a little damage to a branch that has taken longer than one day to recover . At the time of this update I have yet to check on it again after taping it up to see if it is still limp . I may lose that branch RIP. I decided to take the tape off my other branch I broke while stretching her down under the net a while back figuring it’s been enough weeks for that to scar over . She healed beautifully ! The last of the Mohicans are here ! My new untested ORGANIC base bloom nutrients have arrived via mail today . I have been holding off on positing this update until now 1. to get a good difference in growth 2. To avoid needing to repeat having to defoliate an ADDITIONAL time before flipping to flower . I’m going to do a defoliation light-moderate I don’t think a heavy one is needed but I am a little trigger happy when it comes to defoliation 😂. I plan to do one FINAL MAJOR DEFOLIATION AROUND WEEK 3 FLOWER to try and get an awesome HIGH bud to leaf ratio idk how I keep picking these strains with high leaf to bud ratios I’d like less maintenance as we all would right? Still haven’t figured out what I’ll do with these clones as I don’t want to flower them they’d be trash bud underneath this mother clucker. Don’t forget the new Timelapse I started 2 weeks ago to capture our 5x5 Cereal Milk by RQS Flower up! Lastly I decided against making more clones when I did this second lollipopping sinc so already don’t know what I’m gonna do with the few successful clowns I managed to make from the last experiment. I’m really hoping this resilient girl turns out to be a 🔥DANK PHENO THAT HAS SOME TASTY POTENT BUD bc having a few clones lying around already would be golden. I’ll leave it there. Major morphological changes being observed still. Stretch & bud thickening occurring. Sept 18 - looking good. Hairy hairy buds! Sept 19 - all watered with nutes 2ml/L all. 1.5L each. Sept 20 - looking great, sticky colas when handling, smelling noticeably when opening the tent now & Lina’s hairs starting to brown off. Subtle purple colours are popping on some cola’s - notably BM & TB. Scrog’d them. Need to find out how to make it square and less bowed in..I’m guessing poles or bungee cord? 21 Sept - doing well. 22 Sept - all watered, 2L each w/ bud burst @ 3ml/L and in total 1/2 cup of molasses for 10L. 23 - all good 24 - looking great!

Pheno #7 and #4 showed the most desired traits and will be running both indoors iagain the coming weeks under better conditions. I didnt get as much photo's as promised but things have been hectic on all fronts, but I will do better next time ;) Its a pitty we had some issues and not all phenos where in a position to show the true potentail. There for we are running the 5 with re-running outdoors this season. Along with some new beans :D

Temperature is becoming a challenge, very hot outside and inside the house. 32 max and 26 min. Plants are reacting well and are very very strong. Smell is very earthy and fruity, it remind me some old kind of weed, like from 90’, sweet when watering them before night time and very spicy and earthy during the day. Buds are getting fatter, I was a bit scared when I saw all little flowers getting red hair already. Entering the 7th week, so normally 2 more weeks to go. Changes from 6th to 7th week were amazing, I’ m curious to see how far they can get. Ciao belli!

(Harvested on day 74) Small enough buds and not very dense by the looks of it. Leaves covered in crystals so didn’t trim buds. Left hanging for only 3 days and then clipped off buds and put them in drying mesh to speed up the drying a bit. Rome is 20 degrees with humidity at 50% Jarred 10 days later. Buds seem damp on the inside but I think it’s just because they are super sticky.

Halfway through flush run off at 150ppm. Temps dropped down to a range of 65-73. Things are getting purple but had to trim a bud of cause of mould. Humidity has stayed 50-70% due to my poor exhaust but overall looking dank !

Not much to say about this girl she has a nice amount of crystals and the smell coming off of her is very strong .. The plant has been dealing with my lack of compassion and care the last few weeks ,been in and out of town hard to water and take care of them . The wait to get to the end is gonna be over soon cannot wait to harvest their girl ...

What a journey it has been from seed! I made a lot of mistakes in the first few weeks of this growing journey. I feel like I had a mini-crash after finishing the first year of grad school, and although I am growing cannabis as part of my research project, I haven't been the greatest at paying attention to it. This is not an excuse. It has actually been a learning opportunity. I realized that my body needs proper schedules to function and grow, just like a plant. The problems with the plant have really been my own problems. Let's just say that a plant may be the reflection of the grower. First, the light cycles were wrong and inconsistent. I thought that I could manually control the light schedule for the plants and be alright. However, I was wrong. My sleep schedule has been very inconsistent for the past few months. Mainly because we are living through a pandemic, and secondly because I am a graduate student 😂. How naive was it of me to think that a plant could follow my own rhythms? I guess it highlights my 'plant blindness.' Second, the light intensity was low and PH levels high. In the last five days, I have learned that plants are living organisms (I knew this, but my plant blindness is quick to dismiss it, I need to stop fighting these "plant voices" (signals)) that require a proper environment to grow, similar to humans. Of course, a plant is not human, but it is alive and living. It needs water, a regular schedule (light (active) /darkness (rest), oxygen, nutrients, and an overall good environment to grow. Concern about the size of my plant at five weeks, I decided to conduct a few experiments at home. Here are my notes: Friday, July 23, 2021, I took the plant out of the tent at 6:00 AM and placed it in front of my backyard window that faces the Eastside, perfect for sunrise. On that day, I had a few errands to run, and when I arrived home, it was 2:30 PM. The sun was now hitting the West side of my house, and I had to move the plant in front of my bedroom window. At around 7:00 PM, I went to look at the plant and noticed that its leaves were looking plumpy. So, I decided to take a timelapse to see what I would be able to record. During "magic hour" (sunset), I recorded and witnessed the plant moving with the rhythms of the sun. Plant, like humans, function at their best when they are synchronized with their circadian rhythm. The pandemic has definitely disoriented us to the point that it has disrupted all of our schedules. To this day, I feel tired from everything we have all been through; how could I possibly think that a plant would thrive with such a messed-up schedule? The time lapse made me realize that the plant needs some structure to thrive, and so do I. So, as much as I like to think that I can be disciplined and follow a plant's schedule, I cannot. So, I went to the store and bought the Globe Suite smart plug to automate and schedule the light cycle to 12hrs of light and 6 hours of darkness. Saturday, July 24, 2021, the plant woke up to the set schedule of the lights. I checked on the plant first thing in the morning, around 9:30 AM. The leaves look much greener and thicker than they did the day before. Sunday, July 25, 2021. I was away overnight and did not arrive home until 2 PM. The plant looks twice the size it was on Friday! Today, I will water the plant. I got a PH test kit and realized that the way that I measured the PH level, the first few weeks was wrong 🤦‍♀️🏽. I measured the PH correctly, to 5.9, and added some Reefertilizer grow nutrients to the water. I watered from the top, distributing the water evenly around the stem. My partner pointed to me that the lights seemed dim for the stage of the plant's life. So I had my lights set at 100 watts running at 20 % 😅. I realized that I had not increased the light intensity since the first few weeks of vegetation 🤦‍♀️🏽. So I increased the intensity to 100 watts running at 60%. Monday, July 26, 2021. First check-in 7:00 AM: The plant looks like it loves all of the new changes that I have made! It is finally growing 🤗 The sun is out, but it is not as intense as it should be because tiny particles of smoke are present in our air due to the wildfires, and they create a filter that makes the human eye see the sun blood red. It is quite apocalyptic. Regardless, I decided to take the plant out from the tent and record a time-lapse. It is fascinating how much movement plants have despite showing no noticeable signs of movement (to the human eye). Tuesday, July 27, 2021. It has been five days since I have made big changes to the plant's schedule and environment. The plant is finally showing good signs of growth, and its leaves colours have changed to a deep green. I am not watering the plant today, but I am spritzing it with water. I decided to take another time-lapse of the plant, but this time inside the tent. As I was setting up the tripod for my camera, I accidentally increased the humidifier 🤦‍♀️🏽. Luckily, I noticed within a reasonable timeframe and reduced the humidity and made the environment better. I increased the light intensity to 100 watts at 100%. The plant will stay in the tent all day today because it is raining ☔️.
