Day 35 is here. We are a week into flower and most the plants are just starting to hit that flowering stretch. I have been bending them down a little every couple days, but I need to focus on cleaning up some of the bottom branches so we can keep good air flow through the plants. Will work on that through this next week. I haven't done a water change, just been topping off the reservoir with fresh nutrients as they drink it up. Feeding half and half maxigro and maxibloom. Will cut out the maxigro in a couple weeks when I notice their stretch slowing down. I had a plant overflow this week because the drain line is getting full of roots. I noticed a couple roots have made their way into the reservoir already. I set a pump timer to 1 minute on and 20 minutes off so they can drain properly. I would like to make it through the grow without having to mess with the drains, but we will see what happens. I will make some modifications if needed. Other than that everything is running smooth and I hope we have some little pistils to show by next week. Thanks for stopping by ✌️

More to come!... don't even ask how I keep this tent in the 70s in the garage when it is already getting to 96 degrees outside..... short answer... "oh, this works, well it did work, maybe if I do this, that seems to help, well shit, that didn't work, uh oh, its getting hot, I got it!... and done. - temps start to climb into the 90s - " oh shit, oh shit!, Its not working anymore, I guess 90 degrees inside the tent is better than being in the 100s.... think, think, think, 😲 I got it!... annnd done👌! Its working. The temp at the time of writing this is... 73 degrees (last night it is was in the upper 80s lower 90s). So yeah, my wife is upset at the time I've been spending on it..... if only she would have let me do this inside the house like I wanted to. Meh, whatareya gonna do? 😕 There is something living in my attic... I hear it now.😒....

26.12.24: I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great weekend. The Strawberry Banana is doing well, I am just doing some LST every couple of days, and she is just starting to stretch. She is still feeding on silica, cal mag, and maxi grow veg nutes by GHE. She seem to be loving this Medic Grow Spectrum X, which I am now running at 70% and also running the UV/IR bars for 1 hour before lights off. I also did a light defoliation this week to allow some airflow and her to focus more energy on the upper branches. I will continue to with LST and veg nutrients until the vertical growth stops, then I will transition her to flower nutrients, and change her lighting to the red spectrum. Soaked the seed in water for 36 hours then popped into a Grodan cube that was pre-soaked for 12 hours in pH 5.8 water. First sprouted 24 hours later and has been growing fine in the propagator under some cheap LEDs until I get her into the net pot and tent soon.

It’s officiall open the flowering season! Today they will start to receive 12 hours of light, even my Daiquiri Limes, both, already started bloom, showing me what deserves to me in a few weeks. 😍 I can’t wait for that... They grown a lot tast week. Brown points are present yet on Northern Light one, but just where they appeared before, not about new leaves with brown points. Hope the worst had gone. Growing ✌️🏻🌿🍁😉

So, starting this week off with some TOP-ing news. The girls were topped, but only 5/7. 1x Purple Punch and 4x Honey Cream. The two Triple G's and one Purple Queen are struggling a bit with growth. I don't know what's wrong with them, because the other are growing like crazy. And those 3, eh, I don't know. If you know what could be causing the restricted growth, hit me up or leave a comment down below. 🙏🏻😁 I will apply a foliar spray with Green Explosion from TOP CROP and add some humic and fulvic acid to boost the root development and to kickstart the photosynthesis. So they start to eat 💪🏻😁 Rather than that, no other problems are present. The temp. is a bit high, 30⁰C but they are taking it like champs. Silica really does work wonders. 😅🙏🏻 I applied a full 3L feed for each plant, so the soil gets all wet through and plants can start growing new root shots. More roots, more fruits. 🌱 I'm planing on vegging them for 2-3 more weeks, so in total 5-6 weeks in vegetation. They have to come back from the shock that was caused by Topping. Every plant has around 6-8 new shots as you can see from the pictures. And this means more main "stems" or better to say more bud sites. 😎 I changed the MH bulb from 250W to 400W and will increase the wattage further to 600W in 2 weeks. They need more light. 😁☀️💡 Technical upgrade: 🎥 I bought a WiFi security camera. 😁 The thing is awesome. 😧 I can check the temp. any time and see the girls any time from anywhere on my phone. And I payed only 25€ for it 🤷🏻 It's a 1080P, 360⁰ camera. Any one should invest in some gadgets that make their job easier. 💪🏻 Ending this week with a smile 😉

Fed once this week with a weak feed including top max. I use kombucha vinegar as pH down. Water from my tap is ph6.8-7.0 and 38-42ppm so I might start using calmag supliment as the ppm at my old house used to come out of the tap at ph7. 2 and 200-220ppm. I had 2 plants that didn't like the light at 30000 lux and started bleaching so I took them out. I've defoliated today day 35 as humidity was getting over 80% and also to let light to the lower bud sights. Pre flower pistils showed on some plants around day 33 (some still have none) so I'll consider this the end of veg start of flower. The kalimist indica pheno is still not showing pre flower pistils but is always hard to force flowering when it's not mature for some reason. It's always 7-14 days behind everything else 🤔

Fo' Twenny Back with another update on our Orange Sherbert from Barney's Farm! 8/24 - Day 17 of Bloom: I did some selective defoliation to help increase light penetration. Next watering will be a flush with 2 tsp/gal of Fox Farm's flush agent SledgeHammer. Everything is growing strong with this classy lady and she has an abundance of growing shoots. I may need to do some additional lollipopping, but I am being conservative and trying to spread out defoliation/lollipopping to avoid shocking her. She isn't stretching a whole. However, she is very bushy and I to think that will make up for the minimal stretching as far as yields are concerned. Leaves all look pretty healthy and are a nice shade of green. 8/28 - Day 21: Flushed the medium with tap H2O run through 2 KDF filters with 2 tsp/gal of Fox Farm Sledgehammer flushing agent and pH adjusted to 6.2. I started by giving 5 gallons. After checking the PPM of the runoff I ended up adding 5 more gallons mixed to same specifications. 10 gallons total was shared by 3 large flowering photoperiod cultivars and 1 smaller autoflower. She probably ended up with about 3 gallons give or take. I didn't measure how much each plant received. I just kept flushing each and checking runoff until it was under 1600 ppm. #1 first week in and she putting on some lovely blossoms....tied down a few of her branches (LST) and she is jus spreading her wings #2 diet seemed to be a off so increase potassium looks like it balanced out..jus watching it to see....also lock off extended hours of light so she can start to get ready to go into flowering
