Some nice branching. I can tell these girls are about to explode and bush out. We should be seeing some nice big bushy plants in a couple weeks.

Wednesday 1/10 start of week 4 haven't watered/fed since 1/6, and plants show no sign of needing water or food, I will be watering them with just pH-balanced water the moment the leaves show signs of thirst(leaves/stems drooping)and hopefully get rid of the yellowing and browning. the yellowing/browning seems to have stopped spreading since last week too, I thought it was nute deficiency but a couple of people on here told me it was nute burn/toxicity, and seems like they were right since it hasn't spread since. the 40 ppm measurement is my water before adding anything to it, some people were confused and thought it was way too low. I'll be measuring the ppm of the water after everything is mixed in the next time I feed them, I'll also be measuring the ppm and pH of the run-off water when the time comes all the plants are growing slow and steady

Plants are doing good ! Little yellowing due to not enough nitrogen and lesson learned dont let coco dry out ever ! This is my second ever run in coco I've been running soil only so its definitely a learning lesson. But plants are still with us doing good :). Two BlackBerry kush auto by Dutch passion one is in a 1.5 gal grow bag by honor while the other in a 1 gal :). Cant wait to see what they look like next week :) 2/26 nice little update through the week #1,2 are both growing strong after they were fed. seems a rule of thumb to slowly feed them around day 7 growing in coco, unlike when I was growing in soil I went to atleast day 10 before slowly feeding them :) nice learning experience. Another one I'm excited for !!

Well I’m a bit behind here. I left out of town for a few days and come back to some issues. Issue 1: Overwatered Issue 2: Light went bad and wasn’t producing enough to give my babies what they wanted. They stretched and didn’t actually Grow any bigger just taller. They was very weak and was almost like a noodle. I had a old 600w burple light that did the job. I tested UVs and she was still producing like a champ, she just gets warm. Issue 3: Mfing PEST. I noticed in my soil to what I thought might of been beneficial mites, I was wrong. After some great knowledge from GD pros come to find out it’s Baby Gnats. Found some organic DIATOMACEOUS EARTH garden safe. I had to transplant my babies already but only went to a little bit bigger pot and not the final one. Burying the stem, and left watering. My soil was moist enough to feed during transplant obviously bc their doing a lot better. I’m applying my DE to the dry soil and to help prevent any issues im going to do a straight 6.5 water feed from the bottom. Just applying the water to my tray and letting them go get it. I’m hoping the DE clears the bugs up and I can get these girls back on the right track. Lowered the RH to help fight off these bugs. As of right now they took well to the transplant and already have gotten stronger at the stem. With challenges come knowledge! Thanks for checking it out Peace love & grow

Day 56 flowering: I love Gorilla zkittelz with a passion!!!!. They have been consistent throughout the grow even if the pheno kept the other 2 smaller. Their buds are amazing to see in the light and full of trichs. They smell so fruity/candy now too. Another few days for these 2 ladies and its into the dark for 48 hrs. They have begun to fade slightly now so hopefully know they are close to their end , and start hitting the stored supplies to clear out some chlorophyll. Their buds are rock solid now and dont move and inch when pressed. Cannot wait to sample this strain.

This week there isn't much to report, the leaves are looking a little pale for my liking. So I'll be keeping an eye on that going forward. We are in the "purgatory" stage. Not much happening, waiting. Here is the watering amount and frequency for this week. I always use dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.0-6.6. 15.6.25: 2 litres containing: ♡ 1ml Ecothrive Trace. PH: 6.4 PPM: 454. 19.6.25: 2 litres of plain water. PH: 6.4 PPM: 339. 22.6.25: 2 litres containing: ♡ 3/4 Tsp Mega Crop Part B. PH: 6.3 PPM: 464. Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. En las fotos podréis comprobar que 3 de 6 sufren bastante la carencia de magnesio. Aug 2: Mimosa Shot is hitting her stride now. She didn’t like the cooler temperatures as much as Sunday Punch EV, for example, but she’s loving this hot start to August. Aug 3: done with force flowering and will now just leave her in the yard. So, back up to 15.5 h of daylight here now. Still using far red light at dusk. Aug 6: Mimosa Shot has stretched again, likely mostly due to 3 days of hot weather.

The third week is beginning, and the plants are showing healthy, steady growth. Soon I’ll be moving them into the vegetative stage, where they’ll start developing more vigorously. I’ve added more soil to the pots to give them better support and allow the roots to keep expanding properly. They’re already starting to release a noticeable scent, a good sign that they’re healthy and progressing well. The leaves have kept their deep green color, and the overall structure looks promising for a strong vegetative phase. I’m also starting to notice early signs of branching and an increase in the size of new leaves.🎅

21 days of flower.. getting some frosting on the upper fan leaves.. happy that the stretch was minimal and the canopy is pretty flat.. I think the super soil is a little hot but there’s a way to go yet 🤞😉👊
