Grow diary 11 Stage 4 Days 31-40 Day 31 Turned power up to 85% on the mars hydro ts1000. Mines one of the old ones you need to stick a screw driver in to alter it. Day 36 Removed the single finger fan leaves and the 1st 3 fingered leaves. Day 39 Removed the 4 fan leaves from where she was topped last week. The start of this stage we hit a heat wave, day after day of heat. I had my humidifier on most of the 9 days. The tent didn't hit the temps I thought it would so that means I have my loft under a bit better control. The plant really kicked into gear this week, around day 34 she started to explode in growth. So far I have only done some lite defoliation by removing some of the 1st leaves that weren't getting any light anymore. I think the kosher cake is the 2nd nicest looking one in the grow. This week, sun pattern shifted. current spot only has light until 5 or sometimes even 4 pm. I seen a massive jump in size this week. One of my steaks lifted a tiny bit, just had to add 2 more for support. Now she will grow as the shape of the letter L I want to see one last push before flower 🌼 . The top of the main stalk cola. I'm still confused on, why it wants to flower but just conting growing in size. Almost reminds me of growing sunflowers

They are sitting in fox farms soil— not what I use normally, but they ran out of Mendo mix so it will be a bit until I put them in their final pot. Playing the nutes by ear because of the soil situation. ✌️🏻💚

Hello, long time, no grow. I’m trilled to start on a new grow project, i’m away from growing a long time, but my love for ot was always present, i miss it a lot so i have got a few strains from Fastbuds to test and come back with a minimal setup. I have got the Festberry, Bluedream, and the 1:20 cbd, they have sent in the Banana Purple punch Ok, so what is a minimal setup? For this grow i have choose to grow in my balcony, it is fairly big and i gave good sunlight, we are in summer now, so temps are high, swinging a lot. It is raining often as well so I did not need to water much. For the nutrients i will go organic i think, in my substrate i have about 30% warm castings, so i’m good for till mid grow length +-, i might add a bit of nutrients in 30 days mark. The objective of this experiment is to use as little as possible, 360 degrees. For the germination process i have used a mixed process method, that i have learned from Fastbuds and i have loved it, 24h in a glass of filtered water, paper towel for about 24h -48h and then the Floraflex gremination pellets, i have tested on the jiffy and worked fine as well. Cool about this method, if you are more on the anxious side or like to control more the process this is the way, you can follow the hole process and see the development in parts. I will add images later on, for this breakdown. Well that is it, lets hope for a cool, safe journey for this girls. — The Blue dream i had germinated two and both look great so I have decided to keep two in one vase. Never done it, so let’s see what will happen.

She's really growing to be a bushy one! Did a few more LST and cut off one satellite leaf to expose the other bud sites. Really enjoying her growth so far!

Finished Week 3 of Flower and watching it like a hawk for any hint of PM. Did have to spray occasionally on a few leaves, but total spots found were less than 10 for all three plants. I perform DAILY inspections, LEAF BY LEAF, ensuring I do not suffer the same fate I encountered on my first grow. Did some light LST'ng, but more really like pulling down slightly, any very tall stems. Removed remaining fan leaves that aren't on a node with an active bud site, mostly all bottom level leaves. All in all, some great bud growth. I can say The Bling is a very lanky and upright plant. I still have all the LST wires attached as there is still tension for it to grow straight up! Mimosa has the most bud sites and even growth. Napali Pink is also growing well. Has been unaffected by PM from early on through today. If you are looking for a hearty, PM-resistant plant, Napali Pink is it.

I have to say, overall out of all 5 purple Lemonade seeds I’m not very happy with the results so far considering they was a little more pricey & the fact that I know how good these plants can turn out! Not sure if I just got some bad genetics or what’s up but pretty bummed about this run so far😅😅 hopefully things will start to look up! Seems to be going ok? Looks to me now like flowering is well on it way this week seems to be taking longer to develop but I have done extensive training which I think could add time to the final harvest but other than that everything seems ok 👍🏼

Think I'm done giving her nutrients, might run some slf-400 through her not sure if it's necessary though. Trichs are still developing not sure how long till harvest but should be within the next couple weeks.

It’s the third week of flowering, and the plants are starting to show some exciting progress! 🌿 The buds have begun to build mass, and the first signs of trichome development are visible, giving them a light nice, frosty look. ✨ I did notice a few nutrient deficiencies on the leaves, likely due to underfeeding, as I’m using a medium with 50% coco. To fix this, I adjusted the nutrient levels, and the plants seem to be responding well. 🌱 The plant that wasn’t trained with LST is about a week ahead in development compared to the LST version, showing more advanced bud growth. Also, the smell is becoming more pronounced, with the first hints of that classic, sweet aroma filling the tent. 🍬🌿 I’m excited to see how things continue to unfold in the coming weeks! 😁✨

Topping appears to be working well. Began some LST via tie down to encourage growth to other branches.

#seedsman420growoff and #SeedsmanSeeds 📆 Week 5, 25-31 May 2024 25-27 May - Observed and let the plant grow. 28 May - Defoliated plant. 29 May - Placed scrog ring on trellis system, bent top of plant over 90 degrees, adjusted and spread branches (see pictures). 30-31 May - Observed and let the plant grow. 📑 I’m very pleased with the way this plant has responded to the nutrient schedule so far. Now it is time to see how she will do with training. I like using a version of the scrog method most because it gives me the greatest space for bud growth overall. My experiences have taught me that under these lights there is about 15-18” worth of quality vertical bud potential. Anything below that line is only draining on the plant, and not receiving adeqate DLI. So I dont need to focus on a tall plant - rather a wide one. Now that she is under a scrog the DLI has a significant canopy increase. What I’ve done with this plant is cut all side shoots off the main branches up to the scrog. She will grow for another week to allow all for growth to develop just above that and then be flipped to flower. I’ve never grown this plant before, but assumeing she can double her size during pre-flower, I’ll have plenty of room in my grow tent. The Trellis System: is made with 1/2” (12.7mm) white, SharkBite PEX, 1/2” pex clamps, small screws/nuts #6-32 x 3/8 in (to hold clamps opposite each other, this is what holds the structure together, side bars, rings, scrog), 1/2” pex straight coupling connectors (to connect rings, and extensions), nylon tape and nylon cord. The frame design is independant from the bucket and can be put on anytime before or after the start of the grow. It simply snaps together (nothing needs to be crimpted), the rings stay in tact with coupling and tape, the netting is strung once for the most part, I prefere 2” squares, and held in place by clamps. The size of the rings depends on the size of your pot, the bottom and top ring are measured seperately. The scrog ring is determined by the size of the tent or desired spread. It takes 5 side bars evenly spaced apart and snapped on the bottom ring 1st to hold the frame sturdy in place, their length should start flat from the bottom to about 8” above the top of the bucket. Place the pot into the bottom ring with 5 side bars already attached, lift up the bars, then put on and attach the top ring, this prevents it from moving. Both are then placed on a 12” Bonsai turn table for easy access and observation of the plant. The final scrog is placed on when the desired height is close to being achieved, then maneuvered down over the plant. A simple design that allows you to easily adjust the netting (place extenders on side bars faceing in opposite direction for additional height) and opens many other possabilities for training.
